One night, I was at my favorite club, and I guy sat down next to me and said, "I'm going to follow you around, because wherever you go, that's where the action is." I thought about it and realized that he was right, so I asked a couple of my favorite dancers about it. They said they liked to dance for me because I was always a gentleman and never hurt them. Seems some other guys would grope them where they shouldn't even touch, and pinch or even bite them during dances.
Sadly, this club is now closed because crappy managers were skimming and expecting sexual favors from the dancers. >:( I've never found another one like it. When I went in, I would be greeted by the bartender and the regular dancers, usually with a hug from the girls. It was more like a party than any other place I've ever been, and I actually felt like I became friends with my two favorite dancers, although it was a friendship only in the club.
Tipping is very important, of course, but you don't have to spend thousands every night to be appreciated. Once, I was sitting at a table in the middle, not at the stage, not back booths where the lapdances happened. It was late, just before closing, and there were very few customers left in the club. I had spent my last dollar and was only there finishing up my beer. One of the two girls I mentioned came by and asked me why I wasn't sitting by the stage. I said it was because I has out of money for tips, and you shouldn't sit by the stage unless you could tip. She asked me to come sit at the stage anyway for her set, so I did and had a great show. Guess who got most of my tips the next time I went in?
I'd have to say that treating each other respectfully and pleasantly goes a LONG way towards making a customer your regular and making a dancer give you a great show for the same tip that gets the other guy just an ok show. And, an asshole gets NO show no matter how much he tips.
