I had the best regular from my first day ever dancing up until I moved about a year and a half later. He was great , in addition to $$, he brought me thoughtful things like the soundtrack to Urban Cowboy after I told him I love the movie, an REO Speedwagon CD set, A bottle of Dom, and he often brought me oysters on the half shell, from the seafood resturant nexdoor, and sushi because our club old sold fried foods. I miss him, he was so sweet :(

- pot
- a stuffed penguin from chuck e cheese
- weird al's "straight outta lynnwood"
- shitloads of business cards and phone numbers (used to keep them in a pile as a joke, now they just depress me and i toss them)
- light up free/promotional keychain from a guy's company ("I don't have $20 for a dance, but I want you to have this!") uh thanks
- money origami - my favorite was a tiny sombrero made by a very pleased hispanic man, the sight of it just cracked me up
- and a dollar with a huge flower colored onto it with sharpie markers/highlighters by a scary methhead drifter type. he used to write love letters with the markers for another girl, and pick flowers (weeds from the parking lot) for her
that's all, but i've only been doing this about a year.

One of my old regs gave me a set of golf clubs at work, lol!
I get golf balls quite often as well, lol.
Other various odd stuff, but my fav was my $1,500 HP laptop for doing 3 lapdances!

A vibrator (A rabbit, lol) from a custie that owned a porn store. (it was in the box of course), a 100 dollar bill on stage, some outfits from the store at work, packs of smokes...
The coolest thing ever was a guy who was starting us a new line of clothing gave me and my friend all these outfits, and 200 dollars each

I go to a club that does not serve food. Sometimes late night the girls will order a pizza. From what I hear it's a real feeding frenzy in the back when it gets there. If a girl is on stage or just not paying attention there is nothing or very little left. One night I saw a girl that was a little upset and she said she missed out on the pizza. I asked her what she wanted and she said a cheeseburger and fries. I went down the street and got her food. When I came back she was on stage and there were 3-4 guys waving bills at her and I just walked to the stage with the bag of food and trumped them all.
So, the question is: What's the oddest tip you've every gotten or given?
You probably would have gotten a free dance from me for getting me food. The club I worked at in the Syracuse area didn't have food as well, and no guy ever did that for me. That really is awesome!
As far as the oddest tip for me? One of the guys who came into my club worked at the Ferrari dealership in Spring Valley, NY as a salesman, and we got into talking about cars. This was a few years ago when I was only 20 (now 23) and I got to drive a Ferrari 360 for about an hour long test drive! Nothing more came of that, and probably the only time I've ever met a client out of work. Looking back it was relatively stupid and something bad could have happened, but you live and learn. Was an awesome experience though!
Let me be more specific. Because I dont work 7 days a week... 30 days a month lol... c'mon!
I worked 3 days a week every week... during those 8 months. maybe 4 days off and on. But never anymore than that.
So basically I made about what I normally make year round., only it was off one person who liked to take his paxil and then drink on it. I was actually talking about him the other day.
The guy had the best intentions just put them forth in the wrong way.
The reason he spent that kinda money ( and no he wasn't rich by any means ) was because he was in the middle of a bitter divorce. Apparently he had a lil issue with stripclubs during his marriage and his wife wasn't too pleased. IN their divorced agreement he was to get the debt of the house and she was to get the debt of their CC's.
In his mind that meant until the divorce was final he could spend as he wanted on the cards, however when the agreement was drawn up it stated the amounts of the debts.
So when it came up he had spent what he had on me...he got stuck with that debt not her.
His little revenge plan went in the shitter.

Weirdest tip ever had to have been food stamps. Also, Storm's costume (one of the girls that was on American Gladiators) after mentioning to a custy that I wished they would come out with an American Gladiators DVD box set.

I love and have frogs,
So many frog stuffed animals, pens nicknacks
I am a dark chocolate addict ( like a crackhead, just in chocolate please)
So homemade dark chocolate straberries, and pinapple. by a customer who was a chef, to this day, best chocolate anything I've ever had..
Lots of store bought chocolate.
We don't have a coffe pot at our club, so almost daily someone brings me coffee..
I bartend as well, and carry a lighter and a bottle opener in my waist, so many customers search out and find me really cool lighters and openers..

Non-monetary but much appreciated tips:
-Tanzanite and marcasite earrings
-Gift certificate to a shi-shi salon
-A shawl that the customer had crocheted himself (every girl who worked day shift got one... that is a TON of time)
-Oh, and the same guy crocheted travel bags for us, he was very nice
-Little party favor bag with all kinds of trinkets in it... some were cheap, some were useful, some had a few bucks stashed in them
-One customer would frequenty tip in baked goods; took me a while to believe they were safe, but they were, and GOOD too
-A disposable video camera that I immediately took home and used to film blowing my bf. I couldn't even tell the custy how much I enjoyed that one!
-A $15 black leather bag from CVS because it was on sale and the custy and I both liked storage bags. Hideous thing, as you can imagine any leather from CVS would be.
-A Redskin's freezer mug that would keep your beverage colder, longer during the game!
-The club ATTORNEY tried to tip me in coke. I stupidly gave it back - should have sold it.
-The manager from the club accross the street would come in and tip a dollar stuffed with a bud... now that I kept.
-One guy owned an ice cream parlor and would leave fat-free oreo fro-yo in the bar freezer for me!!
-Of course the usual flowers (which pissed me off) and food (which was the best!).
All in all, I would rather have MONEY than anything else... pay me and I will decide how I spend it. But the poeple who gave home-made things are my exception - they love to be in the clubs and cannot afford to spend like it. I greatly respect that they appreciate the work dancers do enough to give what they can, even if it's not monetary. And people who get something they know I like, ie Redskins stuff, that's sweet and consider. I prefer the money but do appreciate the sentiment. Flowers on the other hand?? I couldn't believe they blew that much money they were willing to spend on me on something that never made it past the dressing room trash can.A redskins fan? You are now my FAVORITE dancer on the site.

this wasn't an ODD tip, but it was a funny situation...
i was dancing for this guy for like 5 songs straight, and he just REEKED of marijuana. i kept telling him while i was dancing, "you smell so good, i love that smell!" and trying to hint that i was a pothead too. finally i get done dancing and he pays me. he was wearing this button-up shirt with 2 pockets on the chest, so he reached into one pocket and told me to hold out my hand, then dumped like a quarter ounce of weed into my hand. this guy actually had his pockets full of weed and that's why he reeked so bad!!! then i had to go on stage and had a huge handful of weed, so i was dropping buds on the floor and shit as i ran to the stage!!
it wasn't a big deal, this happened in canada. :)

My guess is that there's a superstition that two dollar bills are a good luck charm (according to my boss who was a former Navy commander. His daughter disagreed with him...You can draw your own inferences from that...)

A regular of mine gave me a toolbelt last fall after I talked about doing some home improvements. I asked him if he could get me a hard hat so I could be a construction worker for Halloween, and he did that, too. He owns a construction company, so I guess the hardhat was just lying around. But the toolbelt is top of the line.
There's a customer who comes into the club with homemade chocolate-covered strawberries for all the girls. The same guy once brought shrimp cocktail for me and another dancer. I absolutely hate dancing for this guy -- waaay too touchy-feely -- but the food is good.
A regular of mine was going to help me buy a laptop, but then I wouldn't sleep with him and he dumped me. Dammit.

Please don't tell me you had deer meat hanging from your garter!!
You guys are probably just talking about GIFTS, not tips??
Either way I've never gotten a nice present or anything besides money. Sad. Then again I haven't been dancing a full year yet.
I would absolutely pee myself if I was given an antique toaster!!!!!!

So I'm a big nerd, I often dance to the band DEVO. I had a customer tip me with areally cool old DEVO pin (like for you backpack or lapel). He said his friend collects devo memrobilia (sp?) and he picked it out for me. I also once got a cupcake with a Luke Skywalker (star wars) figurine on top of it. OMG I'm such a nerd.

I gave one INCREDIBLY hot dancer in a club she was clearly at the top of a Canadian Casino Token. No lie.
I wonder how it went over. It's ALL I had. I mean I had tipped this dancer otherwise....just she put on a really good pole show...and she wasn't making eye-contact so I HOPE she at least knew it was me, and not some inconsiderate schmuck and had some laughs.
I am such a pl. In truth, I SURE she knew it was me, and in all honesty, I guarantee she, at least, SMILED...

Glow sticks (we have a customer who comes in with dollar store toys and always plenty of glow sticks sinse I love them, he also tips money :))
An Ipod from a regular
Eagles Jersey (I'm also a huge Eagles fan)
I've also gotten a vibrator
and my absolute favorite, I was talking to a guy for like 4 hours one day last year. We were talking about food especially steaks. Anyway so the guy leaves and comes back with 2 huge takeout bags full of steaks, potatos, veggies, salads. I shared with everyone at work and still had 2 days worth of leftovers.

i get alot of oragami dollars (shirts ties, cranes, roses whatever) once a dude tipped me his wifebeater after i tore it in two complete with his autograph i get guys throwing those little plastic room keys (kinda dumb if you think about it not that i would go to a hotel room but the electronic key cards dont have room numbers on them so even if i was that type of girl hes still gonna have blue balls but now hes locked out of his room) the occasional "tip" in my cigarette pack
i think the best tip i ever saw a girl get was a diamond ring she admired it and dude just took it off his finger and gave it to her crazy huh? I still say that foods the best gift a custie can give though.

Okay, thank you. I haven't wanted to dampen - but really what a fucking strange universe where guys are running around tipping in puppies and toasters rather than cash. Like "rather than a $10 bill, I offer you this persian kitten and a bowl of mashed potatoes. Enjoy."

^^^ Jenny makes me laugh, every time.
Alexis, like you I LOVE the Eagles, and one guy who comes in always has something Eagles on, a shirt, a hat, a pin, etc...one day I was on stage and he handed me two Rookie cards, pretty sure they're not worth anything, but I thught that was sweet, then when I got off stage he gave me an Eagles hat, said he didn't want to mess up my hair on stage.
But honestly, I don't consider those tips, I consider it a gift, something thoughtful and unexpected. A tip is well thought out and, trust me, totally expected! ;)

I read somewhere that people on military bases often pay soldiers in $2 bills so that they can trace where the soldiers are spending it.

I agree, I'd much rather have cash 99.999% of the time. The ONE and ONLY exception would be the persian kitten. If a custy tipped me with a kitten of any breed, it'd be free lapdance time for sure. ;D
Anyway, weirdest tip I ever got was a carrot, as a tip for an LD.

Violet rubber bands from fresh asparagus.
I kept a few rubber bands in my pocket because dancers sometimes need one to secure their money. A favorite on stage asked for a band. I gave her a violet one. When I saw her the following week, she said she did really well when she wore it, but someone stole it. I gave her another. Within two weeks, three other dancers were asking for violet rubber bands.
Then the favorite said, "If you promise never to give anyone else a violet rubber band, I will..."
Me after one minute of fake mulling: "Deal."
That drove their drama value way up. More theft. Long story short, I told the favorite where to buy the asparagus on her own. :-\

I'm not sure if I'd call it odd but one of my old regular customers ( very polite and sweet guy)used to send a large pizza to the club for me every night I started my shift .So . of course I shared it with the girls. He would show up just about ever night I worked with a bunch of snacks , he knew I liked, meat sticks , chips( hmmm did he want to fatten me up?) and presents . My fave was when he got me a living dead dolls set( 4 of the large version dolls) . Very thoughtful gift, one of them looks just like me-lol
other things:flowers , pens , betty boop decor , concert t-shirts of bands I dont care for , but I gave them away .One guy gave me a sex shop certificate ;D

I'm still trying to figure out the toaster one. Okay. You get the toaster. Then you take it to the strip club. Bring it inside the strip club (all nonchalant). See this dancer you want to tip. Take the toaster to the stage, while she's dancing.
Tuck it in a g-string? Or does she just carry it around the stage like some game show hostess? Or put it some place she thinks someone won't trip over it?
I can understand giving the dancer a toaster as a gift--it's the "on stage" part that I just can't fathom.
