This thread is making me re-think my tattoo plans. Or at least post-pone them for a couple of years to decide.

Check this out! This infinity symbol used to be solid black. This is only after 3 sessions.

Wow, I'm impressed.
It's almost completely gone in some spots!

That one is going to be harder than the others because they started off solid black. This one was once orange-brown with a black border. The black is almost gone, but the color underneath will be difficult.
The BF is almost home. I'll have him take pics of the others, I can't do it well myself. I started removing two on my hips this time, so of 7 tattoos I'm removing 5.
So...
Bird and Infinity Symbol = 3 sessions
Bee = 2 sessions
"Carpe Diem" and dead relative's name = 1 session

That looks way good for only 3 sessions. I'm trying to go to a specialist in south Florida as well. Hopefully in a couple months, I can get started in the tattoo removal process. The pain sounds scary, though.

Thanks for sharing the photos. Does something like mederma or other topicals help with healing the lasered skin to prevent the laser scars?

How many more sessions do you need before it's fully gone?
Damn.. I'm never getting any tattoos.

I'm glad I waited until I found one I was really sure about. I have several more in mind, but I'm giving them a few more years of thought. It's never too *late* to get a tattoo, after all...

It won't scar at all unless you pick at any scabs that might form. In three sessions I've only had one scab. Otherwise, it was just red and bloody the first day, then healed but still red for the next three or so.
The laser doesn't hurt your skin much at all.

I'm going through this right now too. It hurts soooooooooooooo BAD!
I have a tattoo about an inch in diameter below my belly button. I loathe it. At least it's black but thick tribal, so it's taking it's sweet time before it's finally gone. I just had my fourth treatment on Saturday.
Post more pic's VS!

I want this done so bad! I wish I never ever got tattos, worst mistake ever. I guess at 18 I didn't understand that maybe a few years down the line I won't be a ~punk rawker~ anymore lol How much does one session cost?

it depends on the area, i payed 300 for 8 letters and didnt need a second session.

i dont know i think it was so fast becuase of the area of my body it was done on and how soon after the tattoo i got it done. i posted throughout the thread but i dont recall the type of lazer.

Must have been a CO2 laser. I've thought about doing it, but they say there's a big possibility of scarring - some people don't, some people get BIG nasty raised scars.
