The Legendary Shack Shakers.
Their entire discography.
I mean, they are basically this amazing grasspunk band from the south. I highly recommend their track "CB Song" mmmmhm. Slow and hilarious.
"She's my little lot lizard but she dont shed her skin, she just shaves the cat when my big rigger rolls in..."
Ummm. Them and Gogol Bordello, mostly because I swear to god I am someday going to jump Eugene. Start wearing purple, indeed....

I've had "Meds" by Placebo stuck in my brain all morning. Placebo seems tyo be the hip thing to do today! I'll throw some on now too.
"Pure Morning" always sounds like "Pure Mormon", and that makes me chuckle.

I finally got ahold of the latest Firewater album, "Golden Years". I'm giving it a cursory listen, but it's late so I can't turn it up too loud.

Yeah, Placebo is great. I never knew what the song "Special Needs" was about, exactly, but I thought it sounded like a cool story and it's always been one of my favorites. I like to be kept guessing, I suppose.
I just discoverd Unkle - War Stories, and I cannot believe how good this album is. Love it.

^"Ain't It Fun" is a song by the Dead Boys. I just listened to "Young, Loud, and Snotty" and I think I might move on to Lords Of The New Church now. There's a bottle of wine with my name on it, too. Good Times.

BTW, do you know if they're gone yet?
The Dead Boys, you mean? They only had 2 albums in the late 70's, then Stiv Bators formed Lords Of The New Church with Brian James from The Damned and I think one of the guys from Sham 69. Stiv got hit by a truck in Paris, early 90's and shook it off, then went home and died from internal injuries.
If that's NOT what you meant and it was some secret code I didn't pick up on, my apologies.:D

Gerry Rafferty, Right Down the Line. It reminds me of this friend I have and his wife. Its probably close to 20 years they've been married.. I don't think they're wildly passionate like newlyweds cuz that fades. Now they are "partners." :yinyang:
Its cool cuz they both great (REALLY great people) and probably in part because of eachother. Lol, its marital symbiosis! :P
