Since my favorite beer garden is FINALLY open after a long and cold spring, and they play a TON of sublime during the day, I'm on a total sublime kick.
Acoustic version of "Saw Red" is the best song ever. Couldn't find a good youtube of it though ... it seems a bunch of people enjoying covering that song though ... and quite poorly.
And like the above poster, I'm still totally digging Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl.

Are you enjoying some chardonnay, too?
No, but I have a strong, fabulous desire to put my coke in a frosted wine glass.

Siouxsie is the ultimate punk queen. I have so much love and respect for her.
I'm still stuck on Hyper Crush...they're just so freakin hooky and amazing! I love Donny Fontaine's rapping style. Also, they appeal to all sides of me...I enjoy sex and drugs, but at the heart of it all, I'm really just a geek with a Pong fetish, lol. Besides, their MySpace bio is absolutely priceless, it's almost like a MadLib it's so good.
"One of Donny's greatest achievements was a freestyle battle he won at the Country Manor Home for the Mentally Disabled. "As far as I'm concerned none of these retards stand a chance", said Donny, prior to his landslide victory. With the wits of a pigeon and an ego big enough for five men, Donny is destined to be a pretentious rock star of epic proportions. "
UB40 - Kingston Town
Tis one of my fave UB40 songs. ;D

Ahhhh, music of my childhood right there. Braddah Iz also known as Israel...it will be a miracle if I spell this right off the top of my head...Kamakawiwo'ole is one of the musicians I listened to a lot around the house as a kid. Nothing will ever beat the pure power of E' Ala E' for me.

This Is How I Disappear~My Chemical Romance
Ah, the fond memories of Thomas, lol. Yeah, I'm drowning my sorrow of missing Electric Daisy Carnival in a bunch of My Chem cause there ain't nuthin' electronic about it and well, if you can't feel the emotion in their music then you ain't hooman. No riff has ever musicly portrayed leaping from a skyscraper better than that which opens Skylines And Turnstiles...

MrC Radio? It would be interesting, I guess.
I had Soft Cell on in the car yesterday, but only because I wanted to sing along to "Sex Dwarf". Then I turned it off and listened to talk radio.
I caught this college radio station out in the Allentown-ish area, probably from Stroudsberg (sp?) but they were playing all this... I dunno, Americana folky type stuff. Songs about riding the rails, some of it very spoken word. I know one of the songs was Utah Phillips but I was really digging the mellow groove while driving through the woods up near Easton.
Right now I'm listening to silence. My Father's Day gift was MrsC taking the kids swimming all day so I could sleeeeeeep. Silence sounds nice to me.

Ludo - Love Me Dead (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCU1JYmGxcA)
I love this song! Here's the lyrics:
Love me cancerously
Like a salt-sore soaked in the sea.
'High-maintenance' means
You're a gluttonous queen
Narcissistic and mean.
Kill me romantically
Fill my soul with vomit
Then ask me for a piece of gum.
Bitter and dumb
You're my sugarplum.
You're awful, I love you!
CHORUS
She moves through moonbeams slowly
She knows just how to hold me
And when her edges soften
Her body is my coffin
I know she drains me slowly
She wears me down to bones in bed
Must be the sign on my head
That says, oh...
Love me dead! Love me dead!
You're a faith-healer on T.V.
You're an office park without any trees
Corporate and cold
Gushing for gold
Leave me alone.
You suck so passionately
You're a parasitic, psycho, filthy creature
finger-bangin' my heart
You call me up drunk
Does the fun ever start?
You're hideous and sexy!
REPEAT CHORUS
Must be the sign on my head
That says, oh...
Love me dead! Love me dead!
SOLO
Love me cancerously
Brrrot-dot-da-d-da-da!
How's your new boy?
Does he know about me?
You've got the mark of the beast.
You're born of a jackal! You're beautiful!
REPEAT CHORUS
Wha' 'bout that sign on my head
That says, oh...
Love me dead!

My new playlist of doom is the jammity jam.
Currently: "Scorpion" - Jarboe
Next 5 just for giggles:
"Gun" - Soundgarden
"White Coats" - New Model Army
"Macho Insecurity" - Dead Kennedys
"The Blade (Progress Mix)" - Frontline Assembly
"Scissor Quickstep" - Damage Manual
That sounds much cooler than it is. I have a lot of corny metal and cheesy oldies on this playlist. Maybe I should shuffle it. Hold on, I shall. Hmm.
Next 5 are now:
"Opportunities" - Pet Shop Boys (actually now currently playing)
"UV Ray" - Jesus And Mary Chain
"Mutiny In Heaven" - Birthday Party
"You Don't Own Me" - Lesley Gore
"The New Style" - Beastie Boys
It's not as random as I wanted it to be. It keeps shuffling all the similar stuff together.
