I wish you would bring the law in as well, but I hear ya if you know people in that circle that would expose you, sooo... the club said it was your call whether or not she would be allowed back right? So just say no. Or at least ask for a probationary period for her in addition to her suspension. If they try to waffle out of it then you bluff about cops/lawsuits/whatever and hope they buy it.

^Agreed with that.
At the very LEAST, you should tell the club they had no right to give this crazy bitch your personal info and you don't appreciate it. AND that she did NOT apologize and that you don't want her coming back. I'd also tell them they should be just a TAD more concerned about dancer safety, that watching out for such things is ALSO part of business, not just taking the damn money, etc etc. I would tell them flat out - they can keep the crazy bitch or a good worker but not both, their choice.
If they let this bitch come back I would quit and report their asses to every gov't agency I could think of so fast it'd make their heads spin

i can understand that you dont want to file a report and sue, but you HAVE to call the owner, tell him that she did NOT apologize and that you are really annoyed that she now has your phone number, and can use it against you now that you don't want her coming back. period. but beyond that, PLEASE at least hit her with a lawsuit- i know you think that you will run into all sorts of ppl, but the truth is, (from someone who has been sued) the only ppl involved are your lawyer, her lawyer, a judge, you and her. 5 ppl does not mean everyone will know about it. esp if you stress that to your lawyer.
edited to add: i wasnt sued over hitting someone. lol..

Ugh, I don't remember what was said about other clubs in town, but you obviously work in a shithole. I would get out of there ASAP. Change your number, whatever. You are going to spend a lot of time and money trying to get justice, and I don't really see a whole lot of judges and juries having ANY sympathy for a stripper in court.
Holy shit... you are too good of a person. If it was me, I would have beat the shit out of her too. Dont fuck with my nose either.
WOW. FIle a report and get her ass fired. WTF is her problem!

The police won't care. They are too busy helping the people who have established themselves in honorable positions. Dancer hits dancer won't even bat an eye. The managers won't care either. They are too busy collecting their dancer fees and getting their palms greased.
As long as you work in places that tolerate pimping, physical assaults, fraud, robbery, and even kidnapping, you will find acts such as this going on. Actually, a little hit is the least you should be worried about.

Cherlo, how bad do you want it to get? It's one thing to decide not to physically defend yourself, which can be understood on a philosophical basis. However, how can you be so confrontation averse that you didn't want to mention to the manager that you were upset about them giving this sociopath your contact information? Or, at the moment it was first mentioned, that you weren't going to accept her apology, so couldn't they just fire her now? Or, after getting her rambling response, you still wonder what you should do other than go back to the management and say that she's so unstable that she can't even remember why she attacked you and thinks that being that oblivious and dangerous is no big deal? I know of an argument in the dressing room at the club where I hang out that ended up with oneof the dancers hitting the other in the face with a hot curling iron; is that what you're waiting for?

honey,
like most people on this board said you should go to the cops......she needs to learn that its not right to hit people. i think she should have been fired for her actions
*i commend you for not hitting her back because you would have gotten in some sort of trouble also*
good luck
