Can you make a whole bunch in a bottle (like a 23oz one) and refrigerate it to save for the next dosage?

I got one more question:

Its burns it burns. What can I mix it with so it wont? Can I mix it with regular juice so it will still have the benefits?

I've really been wanting to try this stuff out a daily basis, but it was so freaking yucky to me (even when mixed I mixed it with water) that I usually wasn't able to keep it down (super gross, I know).

SO I mixed with apple juice and now it tastes yummy, kind of like a tangy apple cider. Sometimes I add a dash of cinnamon, to give it a little sweetness, and it tastes like kind of like liquid apple pie! A delish drink that helps curb sweet cravings, supresses your appetite, kills bloat, AND makes your skin glow? Perfect!

This is what I usually do. Mixing it with something doesn't make it lose it's effectiveness.

Yup, for me at least. It kills my appetite, makes my skin clear, and also helps me cough up phlegm (sorry, yucky) whenever I'm sick. I've taken to mixing it with a low- cal apple juice cocktail (25 calories per glass) and it still tastes great! But yeah, drink it with a straw, because it can cause wear and tear on your teeth.

Do you think it will still be good if I take it to work already mixed? We don't have a refrigerator anymore. I want to drink it through out the day.

This, I don't know for sure. I would ASSUME that it would be okay, but it might be something you'd have to do research on.

You could always put it in an insulated drink mug/cup, or throw one of those "Igloo" frozen iceblock thingies in a lunchbox along with the premixed drink, to keep things cool. Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Apple cider vinegar does not need to be refrigerated. Mine sits out on the counter. If you refrigerate it, you kill the "mother" in it---the pectin culture which naturally forms that makes it so beneficial(kind of looks like brown lace). Unfiltered, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar from the health food store usually has mother in it---I think the kind you buy at the grocery store is filtered. But the vinegar should stop the growth of microorganisms if you mix it with juice and leave it unrefrigerated for a few hours. Otherwise, mix it with water and a bit of stevia for a cidery drink.

Any kind that says that it's organic and has the "mother" in it, it doesn't matter which brand. As long as it has "the mother", you're good.

D'oh! I wish I had checked this thread! I put my Bragg's in the fridge. (I thought the "WITH THE MOTHER" on the label was some weird hippie-speak like the writing on Bronner's Castile Soap.)

Anyway, I've been using this apple cider for a week & it rocks. For the price ($6 a bottle) it is a fantastic system cleanser and weight loss aid. This rocks!

Yep, I screwed up and put my nice Bragg's organic apple cider vinegar in the fridge...It's still working but I'm missing out on whatever mysterious benefit this "Mother" can offer me.

See ladies, always check Stripperweb. So much helpful info. (Organic apple cider vinegar is less harsh than the store brands...It goes down better.)

So I'm reading this thread and wondered if it helps a lot with your skin and I know someone mentioned it helps your PH balance

So does it help prevent and cure yeast infections or BV ?

Also does it smell when you sweat it out?

I know it can be used to detox you to pass drug tests ( thanks to a shadey bf I dated taht drank it for that reason...although Im not too sure what KIND .I do know his feet were horrid with the sweat.)

One more..is it good for constipation etc?

Off I go to read all I can. I need something to restore my PH balance in my body, to aide in BM's . I saw it at CVS in jugs. And I have a ton of toxins I want to wash out.

I used probotic stuff for a long time to do just what I mentioned above but I swear to god it quit working :(

So I have been drinking this stuff for about a month. As far as weight loss, I can't really see a difference. However, my skin has never looked better. I have always suffered from acne and this stuff really cleared me up. I don't apply it to my face... I just drink it. People have complimented me on my skin and for all you ladies with acne give it a shot. I swear it works and I have tried everything under the sun.

From what I read on the earth clinic site, pill form isn't as good, and it can give heartburn.

My results- more um, "easy and relaxed" BMs (don't wanna be icky) I eat a bit of fiber daily also. More timely BMs.

Clearer skin

lighter body scent (no offensive odor, I guess the vinegar neutralizes it)

less gurgling in tummy & intestines (I have endometrial adhesions, so digestion sometimes turns into a symphonic event)

Faster digestion of food (it seems) I don't feel sluggish after eating

I will say you don't want to overdo it at first (ramp up your doseage of apple cider vinegar as you get used to it) otherwise you might get turned off it & the payoff is too good to pass up.

So, how much do you start off with? How soon after do you begin the increase in dosage?

madmaxine
06-25-2007, 05:35 PM
Two tablespoons per 8-12 ounce glass of water (varies according to your tolerance.) I doubled my dose in a week.

It makes you urinate more so have water after you go to the bathroom to avoid dehydration.

Someone on here mixes hers with apple juice, which makes it more palatable (like cider.)

Its been helping me digest food better. Instead of my food just sitting and waiting to be digested I feel less like a rock of food is in there. Besides, I've cleaned up my eating too. I usually get white spots near my joints for summer sometimes and since I've been drinking it helped with my very mild eczema problem.

The newest ..well old but its going around again.. health rage is high fiber..at least 35 grams a day.. a can of beans has 16grams..half my daily need and each apple about 5 grams.. i also try to get a salad mainly spinach in each day.. 40 grams or higher.. no more than 50ish is ideal for alot of reasons..
My mom.. i thank her for my health obsession : / .. gave me the book fiber35 or something which talks about this.. It is said.. if you get over 35 grams of fiber each day about 300 calories wont digest.. so if you eat 1500 calories a day .. plus 35 grams fiber.. your body is only using 1200 calories.. like free calories for just eating beans!

Ha! I knew it!!! Hummus and tofu mixed with frozen corn and peas is my weight loss secret. And I can't WAIT to try apple cider vinegar to slim down more and clear up my skin... but just out of curiousity, what kind of effects do a highly acidic diet have on the body? Is is good for everybody???

"Just one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water at meals can change your life completely. How? Apple cider vinegar contains acetic acid which stimulates the production of stomach acid. The more stomach acid the better as it breaks down your food into smaller molecules. The smaller the molecules the more efficiently your intestines and liver can absorb the nutrients it needs. In the old days the stomach would be producing acid all day long so it would be ready for meal time. But these days when the body is stressed the stomach stops producing acid so at meal time there's not enough acid to digest the food. This creates all kinds of problems; indigestion, gastic reflux, IBS, bad breath, diverticulus, fatty liver, lactose intolerance, allergies, fatigue, you name it. But just a little bit of apple cider vinegar gets the stomach working again."

Traditional Weight Loss Recipe:
2 Tablespoons of ACV in water, 3x a day. Take a stronger concoction (more vinegar, less water) directly after a heavy meal for weight loss and acid reflux symptoms.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR AND LEMON JUICE
2/20/2007: Fran (ffrannie2003[at]yahoo.com) from Rocky Face, GA writes, "Remedies: Losing weight make a tea, add two tbsp of apple cider vinegar with the mother and then some lemon ....Two tbsp of this mixture three times a day you should lose 2.5 a week as I did it is a chemical melt down"

What happens when you have too much acid in your stomach and have to take Zantac everyday to combat it? After my son, the lining in my stomach is so sensitive, that I can't eat foods that make your stomach produce more acid, like broccoli and cauliflower.
any suggestions?

Apple cider vinegar is not acidic once it is in your body--in fact, it is alkaline, which is a good thing.

^I've been doing it for almost 2 weeks now. I've lost about 2lbs. Im' moreso doing the ACV for the health properties.

The new recommendations for ACV on is 2 teaspoons in 16oz of water and just sip on it through out the day. I think I will make an attempt at doing 2 teaspoons in 16oz and drink it 3x a day.

I tried this for a couple of days and erm.. got diarrhea. Could be unrelated, or I could have perhaps tried to up my dose too fast. Apart from that, I could see that it was making a difference in my skin. I'm working Monday-Wednesday at my day job this week, so I'm going to start again on Thursday (cannot risk getting the runs at work!).

Girls, make sure you buy Apple Cider Vinegar with the "MOTHER" in it.

It's raw and organic. They say not to buy the kind at the regular grocery stores because they usually don't have mother in it and it has more acid (not good) in it.

Alot of people use Bragg's ACV. I bought This. I'll include pictures of both for your reference.

This is the one I got: https://www.vitacost.com/Store/Images/Images100/790223100341.jpg

Dynamic Health Organic Apple Cider Vinegar contains "Mother" of vinegar that is formed naturally in unpasteurized vinegar by the acetobacter. Made from the juices of ORGANIC certified grown apples.
-- Raw
-- Unfiltered
-- Unpasterurized
Dynamic Health Apple Cider Vinegar contains "Mother" of vinegar that is formed naturally in unpasteurized vinegar by the acetobacter.

Apple Cider Vinegar also helps maintain healthful blood sugar levels that are already in the normal range in the body. Apple Cider Vinegar also helps to kill Germs, Viruses, Molds & Bacteria. Some Internal Benefits are improved digestion & assimilation, relieves arthritis & stiffnes, removes artery plaque and helps remove body toxins. A few external benefits are promoting a youthful body, helps maintain healthy skin, helps prevent dandruff, baldness and balances scalp pH, and soothes tight, and aching muscles & joints.

Perhaps the most sought after benefit of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR is the quick, easy WEIGHT LOSS it helps promote. Since it naturally helps your body get rid of excess fluids, helps speed up a slow metabolism and helps to "curb" your appetite. An age old product has been "re-discovered" and is now being used by millions to aid them in their weight loss endeavors. This liquid is highly absorbable so it starts working on you very quickly. You will be on your way to looking and feeling younger.

I take it in pill form once or twice a day it helps me keep my weight down and energy up. Also I have a inclination to getting UTIs and this helps ward them off. If I feel like one is coming I take a lot of this stuff and it kills it. Also I bathe with a little in my bath water it is amazing for the skin and also this is another way to kill a bladder infection or ward them off.

I've been using ACV for a while too... as well as daily fiber and it really helps with a lot of things, but mostly keeping my stomach on the move!!! It has pectin in it, (fiber) and I also believe that the faster things go through you, the less calories you absorb

I'm a thick "toned and muscular" girl but my stomach/waist is teeny tiny, and I attribute a lot of this to the fiber and ACV. it really is a supreme health drink. Especially when mixed with a bit of honey.

It is also excellent to drink during and after a workout. I crave it!

While it is initially acidic, is converts to alkaline in the body and having an alkaline ph does wonders to reverse the aging process.
