^^I got those lashes at Sally Beauty. Don't know the name or number, but they should be right around all the other lashes. IDK, I kinda like them, I kinda don't. I like em with a bright color peeking through, I guess, but I'm scared to use them again.
Here is a Mardi Gras inspired look:

I really like this combo! Unfortunately, no lashes since I wasn't going to work, but I think this would be super hot with them. Shimmersand shadestick, Teal, Grape, Golden Lemon pigments, Arena e/s, Blacktrack to line.
Delayed reaction, but thanks for the tip! I went to Sallys and picked some up + a similar pair w/ little rhinestones. ;D I love the Mardi Gras style makeup you did.

I used like 4 things lol.
Liner all over, Wet n Wild 712, then Victoria's Secret's lip plumper, then Estee Lauder's gloss pops in mango pop and lemon pop.

Also, Guen, I have to ask, did you Photoshop the whites of your eyes to be so white or are they just naturally like that? I use the forbidden Visine to get a clear eyed look (because of my allergies) and it doesn't get them nearly that white.

Well, I use rhinestones a lot for sewing so I get them from a local fabric store. You can find them online though, I just used eyelash adhesive.
I did the MU for another forum comp. We can't use photoshop (I think it'd look like a cartoon eyeball if I tried, lol!!) but I did use lighting. I was crammed in the bathroom with a hotlight trying to get the best shot, I think I have 60 bad ones, lol!
I wanna see your glitter masterpiece! I used to do glitter like eyeshadow with eyelash adhesive and different colors, that was a while ago!!

I use a combination of Tony and Tina loose glitter, eyeshadow, and She-Laq by Benefit (which is the best product ever, btw). I probably won't do full on glitter until next Sat., but I should have a semi-glitter glam look on Wednesday. Hell, who knows? I might decide to throw some on tomorrow night. I'm always in the mood for glitter.;)

Man, I tried to make myself more dramatically made up with inspiration from this thread, but it still doesn't pop very well. How do you successfully apply liquid liner on the lower half of your eyes? I'm always bad with that.
Also, I have a horsey face with a Polish nose...ehh, I just look silly when I try the pretty colours many of you pull off so well! Would a dark pink/ black look ok with my complexion? I want to try that look of yours, Latina Rose. It's hard to follow tutorials though.
I never used to apply makeup at all before dancing, and I'm just generally not gifted with it anyway. It takes a while to learn!

It's hard to get liquid liner underneath your eyes. Takes a really steady hand. It is much easier for me using Fluidline. When I used to use regular liquid liner I could never get it right underneath and would just use a pencil.
The pink and black look is hard for me to do! I always have a hard time with black in the crease, but I will try to do a step by step tutorial for you guys. Using pink with a dark gray in the crease would give a similar effect and be easier to blend.
You don't have a "horsey" face! You are silly! Have you tried contouring and highlighting to make it look more round? There is a tutorial on specktra somewhere that explains the principles of contouring and highlighting, do a search and you should find it.
I'm a firm believer that anyone can wear any color e/s, it just depends on the shade and application.

Guenevere, your application is awesome! What type of brush and technique do you use to create that perfect curved "c" angle on the corner lid?
I use two brushes for that area. One is an old Mary Kay brush and the other is an art brush that I cut at an angle. I use the angle to create a sharp line and then I blend it with the other.

Here's a couple pics, I love the red/blackk/white combo I used on halloween a/my pirate costume... still use it to add some color if I'm wearing mostly

Cloudbound e/s, Pandemonium e/s, Carbon e/s, Arena e/s, White Frost pigment, Blacktrack to line.
I'm still learning to do black in the crease perfectly. One of my best tips ever for using a dark color in the crease - apply a lighter shade of the same color family (in this case pandemonium e/s, a dark gray) in the crease with a fluffy brush. Next take your darker shade (here, carbon e/s, black) and apply in the crease with a short stiff precise brush. Blend away any harsh lines with the lighter shade. And now you have a perfect crease color!
