Huh..is it me or does it seem like we have 2 brand-new posters whose sole purpose is to shill for Lace????? Interesting...

^^Yeah, I noticed that too. It's kinda annoying, considering how *both* posters have the exact same writing style and spelling issues.

The writing style cracks me up. Reminds me of Borat!

That's why I didn't bother responding to them ; or him ; or her ;whoever; whatever. Whenever someone comes on here and shrieks that : "GGR is a whorehouse "(which it is not, btw ) or somesuch and then in the next breath says how great a club like LACE in Wayne is
( where earnings are shaky and inconsistent ) my antenna go up and I suspect the possibility of shilling or some sort of agenda.

Haha this is too funny.. Well at least everyone who wants to know knows they are hiring. I might have to swing by. I have to admit I actually really liked the club when I worked there. Kind of NYC styled bikini bar.

The REAL questions are: What has the place been like since they were "visited" and why is someone trolling for dancers here and on Stripclublist ?

i worked in both north and south jersey, and north-i really wasn't a fan off, a lot of the girls don't speak english, and do things i'm not comfortable with- i tried hot 22, lookers and delilahs, atlantic city in my experience is where the money is in the summers, if you don't mind clueless management and long shifts (8+ hours). i have worked ther the last 5 summers, club breakdown: bare exposure:nude byob, ridiculously crowded on weekends-if you don't make money there, you won't make it anywhere, players- management gives incompetent a whole new meaning... the girls are kinda scary and aggressive, but if you're cute and hustle, you'll clean up, lace- they have a racist hiring policy to warn everyone (no minorities) otherwise its pretty good. (and when i say good money- it was a rare day that i didn't walk out of there w/ at least a grand/night on weekends) ps AC sucks from nov-march

Did you dance here? Where?

Or are you talking about the state in general with the mandatory NY POV--a lot of girls I knew in NY told me they knew that ppl in Brooklyn go to Jersey a lot, what's the deal

lol, I dont know who might be shilling for lace- the management speaks clear and fluent english and bashing GGR makes no sense when theyre owned by the same people. Weird.

Still, Lace is recovering nicely from the raid and things are picking up, though regulars are still key. Extras are minimal and definitely NOT needed to make $$$. The racist charges may be on the mark though... we have only a handful of black/hispanic/asian chicks and about half of our dancers are russian on a given night.

She hates everything and everybody, and she never actually reads threads. Don't take it personally. I have to take everything she writes as a form of comic relief, because it's normally that absurd.

I was featuring at Volcanic Eruptions. I liked the club well enough, but the lapdances were way too hands on for me. I had to be a kung fu stripper with more than 75% of the guys, and I hate having to do that.

Near May's Landing, Atlantic County. I know the place from passing through on the way to AC down the Black Horse Pike.

I am sorry you had a bad experience in our state. It was the club management's fault though more then the customers. They should have told you the true nature of the place, but then again its not like them to be forth-coming about such things.

Most, I didn't say all, of the places with LD rooms and VIP, especially VIP, are hands on. Especially in South Jersey and Phillie. Those that tell you different are fibbing to you. Traveling dancers need to be aware of that which is the reason for this post, to give others a heads up so they don't deal with what you did if that isn't their thing.

They are putting cameras in a lot of the places and that might change things a bit, but for now it is as it is.

Peace.

Alaska Eric is right try Titallations. I have close friends who currently work there as have I and we all make $500 a night or more (Thursday thru Sat) working there.

Also Hitching Post in Clifton, I have always made more that $500 a night working there day shift there is also good.

Delilahs is a good bet also.

I personally like North Jersey clubs. I have always had great luck at them getting wealthy clientele. There do go to the clubs and are very generous.

The clubs in Jersey can be good $$$ wise.

The only Hitching Post in Jersey I know about though is Johnny A's in Paterson. That tends to be a high contact club. Less so is their other club in Hackensack, Players.

If a contact club isn't what you want to work in, the Hitching Post isn't the way to go.

P.S., as far as I know there are no S-C's in Clifton. Just hotels and malls along the Rt 3 corridor. [Clifton is just west of Rutherford and Giants Stadium, for those who want to know what area we are talking about]

Titilations, in Bloomfield, is an eye candy - low contact club. A good looking dancer with the right moves can make money there on a Weds-Sat. I would imagine $500+ wouldn't be out of line during the evening shift.

Just trying to help.

Would you say that their website was exceptionally ghetto and not representative of the club? I know I really need to go check it out for myself but that website really scared me away...and the pictures of the dancers were scary as well--they looked "tired" to say the least.

I dunno--it's between that, Delilah's or checking out Cheetah NYC. Tho the mgr at my place said they will be paying with funny money?

Thanks so much guys--all really good posts/advice....

Hot22 share half of what was a bowling alley on US22 in Union. Membership use to be $20, and you have to purchase a membership which is why they are allowed to be BYOB. Lots of customers, packed in tight on a Wed-Sat evening. Lots of dancers too. All nude. Not very pretty decor. Dancers were OK in the looks department but a lot of shopping list making going on, if you know what I mean [rather listless, distracted or disinterested]. Most of the attraction for the guys I suppose is the floor work which borders on a gyno show for a lot of the dancers.

The stage set is in the middle with a open air LD area on the far wall. Everything is out where everyone can see it and that is why nothing much can go on.

Its been a couple of years since I was last there so the info is a tad stale but I hope that helps. Not my kind of place, but tastes vary.

Again, just trying to help paint a picture for anyone interesting in working around here.

ROFLMFAO!!!!!

Ahahahha--yea I wound up working there for a hott minute and...just I dunno, I'm the kind of dancer who is damn good at talking, selling, having a conversation....I found that really hard to do when you are spreading and flashing like a motherfucker...I could not blame them for having difficulty looking me in the eye afterwards...amazing, most could and godblessem. But....man that was not my style.

You don't have to purchase a membership to go to Hott-maybe in the past but not in the last few years. It costs $20 to get in Fridays and Saturdays and $16 the rest of the week. And the customers have been lacking more and more, especially since Stilletto's went BYOB. Stage shows can get explicit because this is Jersey but you're not allowed to finger yourself onstage or anything like that. Overall I had a fun time at Hott22 and made very good money but have sinced moved on because management sucks and have no idea how to make the club work for both customers and dancers (or either, to be honest!).

[scratching head] You see, as I remember it was explained to me that I had to purchase a membership because this was exactly how they got around the nude/no booze laws. It was a "club" and as such members were allowed to bring in alcoholic beverages with them.

Like I said, it was at least two years ago.

I remember the business model you're talking about. Wasn't Hurrah's in Paterson like that as well?

I wonder what happened that these laws were changed? Also, wasn't the Boxcar a BYOB in NJ? Or was that on the PA side?

^^^^^Thank God I'm not the only one who remebers that! :D Hurrah's was killer money in the beginning because of that! The problem was the switches in management. Some of them were great with hiring girls to tease but others hired girls who'd please.

Well that settles it then. I'm charging memberships just so Optimist can come in and tease!!! Especially now that I know (personally!) that she's definitely not a man!;D

Yes, Hurrahs followed the same model as far as I remember. The Boxcar in Phillipsburg was to but is long gone.

I don't know if that's the best location, but central/west Nj could really use a non-divey club! With lights and proper couches and swankiness... *dreams*
