It's a '96 and I've never had a single problem with it (well, aside from the automatic window on the drivers side... the gear needed to be replaced)... and there's well over 200,000 miles on it (yea... most of those are me...:-[ I've been driving 30+ minutes to the club for years now). It's never broken down on me and I've had it for about 6 years. I'd definately recommend one.

Nissan Z's for me, old school Datsuns, 280sx etc.
I've got a 240Z! It's a freaking mess though... :'( All original everything, awesome lime-yellowish paint... it totally doesn't get the attention it deserves.
And Bella21, you know I'm in love with your car! I want its twin!

^DROOL!
Its great that people lie about what they drive on the internet. Not like anyone across the country or maybe even in a different one gives a damn.
Anyway, I have a full size chevy pickup and a 3000gt sl, its not the turbo model. Both are quite beat and ugly. Bought the truck because I needed something I could tow and haul with. I did NOT get it for any flashy reason and honestly dont care what it looks like. I planned to paint it with spray paint once I got it on the road. Since then a friend of mine has been opening a paint shop so I traded him some stuff to spray it for me. (snap on tools are trading gold in the auto industry) What it looks like really doesnt matter to me as long as it can pull stuff and I can put heavy stuff in the back. WHen I first got it it had seen better days, all of them I think. I would even drive it the way it looked if the GF wouldnt have minded.

Thats after about 3 or 4 hours of atleast 20 of body work. Tomorrow night it should atleast be all in primer if not painted. Obviously I dont buy stuff for its looks :)

Why even get a truck if you can't even go over a curb without bottoming out? Sorry, even bagged, it's more of a PITA then just driving at a normal height.

Lowering a truck makes it a car. No longer any use for hauling and such. WHich is the only reason to own a truck.
Anyway its your ride and all that matters is you like it.

Somebody I know had a friend who bought a big SUV and paid extra for an off-road package on it. Then he dropped it down lower. My friend asked him why he paid for an off-road package and then lowered the truck so he couldn't even take it off road. The guy tells him because girls like it when you spend a lot of money on your car.

Was financing a brand new honda civic si, but decided that I needed something a bit more exciting. My friends think i went over the top, but this was well within my price range and was always a car i wanted, so i finally got it. Been dreaming of having one since the new ones came out in 2001. Here she is, the day i picked her up. THIS IS NOT MY NEIGHBORHOOD! (this was around philly, and i now have a front license plate for it)

ResQ.
My Mustang is running a five o. Also it was a drag car with straight pipes that had to be taken off, illegal. So i had Flowmaster duels for better performance put on, a huge blower, and nitrious. I ran nitrious in my last car 300GT, and my valves went. The motor was wasted due to leaving the toggle on too long, so i sold (well my mechanic did) at auction and i got this car. The only metal/iron is the frame. The top of the car is only metal, the rest is super light all fiberglass. I have low profiles, 17" on it, Coddington polished chrome wheels. But it still sits far too high, there is no weight. It will be dropped perhaps.
It has run against a few 911's and Vets. I did not drive. My car took it at a 3 mile strip. I love cars. My hood gets hot and the paint melts. sounds silly but true. I am looking at a Spider hood now, for even more air fow. ;)

Not to be cruel to whoever installed your nitrous but do not go back to them. A propper instilation includes a WOT switch. This would prevent your problem. Nitrous should Never be installed with out one. I am also a little worried about the idea of Nitrous and a blower. It can be done but is super risky. I would be curious to know your air fuel ratios.
I have a similar 3000gt but with horrible paint. Mine is stock with the exception of a few parts from the VR4 model. Brakes, wheels, and a few others.

Cool! No, i am fine i ran nitrious in that GT for 5 yrs. I left the toggle on more than a few seconds. These guys run cars. Illegally at that. But it was my fault.
Yea i do have a blower. And that is the problem my air flow...
I am not on a death wish. They ran it a few times for me with and without. It's far too light, the car needs weight. I am working on that as well.

SOrry, I didnt make myself clear. WHen Nitrous is installed propperly you can leave the switch on as long as you want. Nitrous gets dangerous to the engine when it leans out. See nitrous is Nitrous oxide. ITs the oxide part that actualy gives you the power. The nitrous just makes a great carrier for it. When an engine runs lean bad things happen. You got off easy if it was just valves. The solution to this is a WOT switch. EVERY nitrous install should have one. This makes the nitrous only flow when the car is at wide open throttle. Allowing for more fuel to prevent a lean condition. Anyone that doesnt install one has no place installing a nitrous kit to begin with. What level squeeze were you running on that car?

I hear ya. And will check into that. I am part of a local Mustang group and some run the same system i am. Guess i should look into the nitrious thing. So far this car is great with it, although it does not stay on the road well when they ran it. Motor wise with or without it it's a very fast car.

The amount of mileage and the amount that the seller was asking for it was just too good to be true. The differences between an M3 and a Civic Si are just too many to count (leather seats, navigation, sequential gearbox, heated seats, xenons, etc.). While the Civic Si was a blast to drive, you really had to rev the
[email protected] out of it to even have some fun in it. The M3 is a nice luxury car when you aren't being mean to it.

I meant the difference between an M3 and a regular 3-series BMW. I'm not going to bother going to test drive either one until I want a new car. Otherwise it would be too tempting. Just curious if the M is worth looking at because it sure costs a lot more than a regular 3-series.

Because a "M" is a limited production vehicle, a dealer typically as a waiting list and people more than willing to pay a premium over the MSRP. Actually, the new 335 coupe with the turbo gives you 300 HP already and many believe it's faster than the 06 M3.
