I loved on-campus housing at college... but that may have been because I was an RA so I had a double room all to myself! ;D

It's probably a little different when you're 31! I do have a room to myself, but I have roomies stealing my food from the kitchen, constant lack of hot water and occasional lack of heat, tickets whereever I park, 6 am fire drills, argh. I need a little more buffer between me and the rest of the world. Maybe I need to suck it up and just pay $900+ a month for my own place.

Maybe, but my boss did it. He and his wife shared his double room. The nice thing was being able to get a parking permit and a gate card for staff lots. Actually, I might still have my gate card here somewhere...

Now a gate card might make all the difference! They just cut our parking areas a LOT and you get tickets constantly. Or have to park far away. Boo!

It might be worth it to get over my inherant fear of paying a lot for rent. I'm paying about $700/month now anyway. I just worry about not saving enough each month.

um i would NOT pay that to be unhappy. i pay 1200 a month and if i clean up and make a mess again, its ok bc its MY mess, not someone elses. if i buy food, im the only one to eat it. if i wnt to be loud or i want quiet, thats up to me. if i want to watch porn and use my vibrator all i have to do is shut the kitties out :P

By dating a staff member! You have to actually *buy* those magentic cards and they don't take them back from you so we just kept it. Since boy graduated and then stopped working for the school, he just gave the card to me since I still had almost a whole semester left before graduation.

Oooh, nice! I was part time staff, but they still wouldn't give me the pass! I had to quit b/c they kept giving me tickets! Hey, it made me start stripping again and stop working for some crazy woman.

My boy worked for one of the coolest departments EVER there! Tons of fun, plus he'd get to use a loading/unloading pass to throw in his truck when he needed it.

I'm guessing this has something to do with Dry, so I just wanted to remind you not to EVER let a man influence your self-worth. Ever. You already know that, but there it is again in case you needed a reminder. You are one of the toughest, sassiest young women I know and no man can take away from that unless you let him.
FWIW, I've been crying all day too. Too bad you can't come over, we could order a pizza and be tear-soaked sad sacks together and feed carnitas to the cat.

Lovely alliteration, too! And TY for saying this; it was only today that my slow mind went "durrr she's probably blue because of the Dry situation." I'm not always the brightest. But I am very supportive once I catch on. Lys I very much hope you realize you're of the worth.

I'm in bed next to The Hubby who had a long day so I figured I'd let him get some boob action. But I made him close his eyes so he wouldn't have to see my hairy armpits and freak out. Then I dropped my breasts on his face and called him my boob monkey.
Then he started coughing and hacking and sexy time was over.

Heh, the alliteration was unintentional. Last time I saw Lysondra, she left her leftover carnitas where my cat could reach it and he pretty much devoured all of it. :D

Ever have weird :O moments when the universe is too coincidental to be a coincidence? That's how I feel about Juno.

[URL="http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/newreply.php?do=newreply&p=1262896&noquote=1"] I wanted to be Honey when I started; I even had picked out an unused porn name for myself (Honey McIntyre) in case I went in that direction. But another girl was already using it. I went with "Sunday" for a couple of reasons; I was thinking Wednesday Adams but light on the goth, and I liked the dichotomy of using the Lord's day for my sinful activities. I also thought that "easy like Sunday Morning" was cute, although untrue. And last but not least, if anyone starts giving me a hard time ("But today's Monday, shouldn't your name be Monday?") I smile seductively and say "No, Sundae like with whipped cream and a cherry on top..." They LOVE that!
But I'm kind of over it. This is why I've never gotten a tattoo--it seems cute and I might even have good reasons for it, but I just get BORED so easily! I've been wanting to change my name to Juno. For no reason but that it's different-sounding.
And now the whole Juno movie came out. Which I heard about today for the first time. Why in the world was Juno in my head over a month ago? I'm not particularly a fan of Roman mythology although I am fairly knowledgeable. It's like when a song you haven't heard in ten years is stuck in your head for no good reason and then you turn on the radio and that song is the next one that comes on. Just weird. Maybe it's just me.

Doesn't it? I'm sure the cat would love it too... the carnitas, anyway.
Me, I could go for an artichoke pizza. Instead I obeyed K's strict orders to go get a bottle of wine so I'm having that and reading some delightful fantasy escapism (ahem, SundayMorning, that's you).
My dad read my letter to my grandmother and he's pretty sure she understood it, so that makes me feel better. At least I got to tell her what she means to me. And she's still with us for now (granted, she can't speak, she's got congestive heart failure and her kidneys have quit, but she's still with us). My grandfather is sending me gas money and I'm going to Mississippi in a couple of days to be out there. And K bought a plane ticket to Little Rock, so I'll be picking him up there as soon as possible. I'd say things are about as good as they could possibly be under the circumstances.
Except I have my period and a 'roid, but they will go away, I hope.

I just went out and spent $250 on exfoliants, lotions, scrubs, masks, everything I possibly could to make myself feel better. I spent time in the bath scrubbing everything I could, washed myself, scrubbed again, lotioned up, spray tanned, lotioned again and now I'm waiting for it to develop, naked and then put on my makeup, which I also just bought two more of.... if I don't feel better after this I'm going to be PISSED.
