How bad do I feel? It is just after 3.00am, I am pulling an all nighter to complete an assignment I should have posted yesterday. Am completely jittery from masses of caffeine and bored to tears, but thats not why I feel bad. My gorgeous bf did a night shift two days ago, a 16 hr shift yesterday has had literally 3 hours sleep in three days and is back at work at 6am today. Guess what? He is asleep on the sofa with at least a foot and half of him trailing on the floor cos he is too tall for sofa and all because he knew I would hate sitting downstairs all night by myself working.

whhhhhhyyyy is university enrolment so confuzzling? :(
I tried doing the same shit last night (wtf are we following eachother around?) and it was SO fricken confusing. Like.. I want a degree in business... now, classes...no, need to enrol with this other random person...what...but then application fee... not even sure if it's the right place anymore...and what?....AGGGHHH

yeah it's just crazy. so i need a student ID number, and another university number, and you need to use them to log into different places and it's like, why not just have one number? and then i need to submit a commonwealth assistance form, and then add subjects to my potential enrolment list, and then enrol, and do that individually for each subject and i'm really rather frazzled right now!

argh! and now i have to pick my sub-majors. i've been through the list, and with archaeology as my major, i think i'm going to choose...
HIST1704 - History's Killing Fields
BIOL1101 - Evolution of Biological Diversity
CHEM1201 - Introduction to Chemistry A
CRIM1003 - Crime and Criminology
the only one i'm not entirely sold on is the biology one. hmmm.

We have the same crap. Some places you need your SS number, some the student ID, some your email login. Crazy. I wanna know what you're taking when you figure it out! I wish I could fit archaeology classes into my schedule but they are always at weird times.

I was looking at getting a Masters in Travel and Tourism Business.
Do you know what it gave me as a job I could get with this fabulous degree?
TOUR GUIDE.
What...the...eff....
NO!
I want to fucking travel and own travel companies and sell business and make millions. I don't wanna fucking be on a smelly bus and say 'Now on the left you'll see...'
BOO.
Interesting mix of classes Darcy. Which leads one to wonder what you are going to be when you grow up. I mean, I thought CSI but wasn't sure if they have that down under.

argh! can't decide now between
BIOL1101 - Evolution of Biological Diversity
and
HIST1801 - Modern Europe, 1900-1945
for my fourth elective. argh!

^ I'd pick Modern Europe... simply because all the other courses seem seriously hardcore... you're gonna want a more relaxed class.

The worst thing about uni enrollments though is trying to work out your timetable. Argh.
Two of my major lectures are overlapping already. I am definitely not looking forward to organising my tutes and finding that they are all over the place or all start at 8:00 am.

I have to go to work...again...school work school work is not a good schedule for a day.
I am really irritated...I spent an ungodly amount of time convincing myself that it was ok to have 2 tamales instead of 1 (hey, if 240 calories is gonna kill my diet, so be it!), and then I open the box, and there's only one left anyway. Gah, the god of dieting is somewhere laughing his ass off.
On the plus side, I made a really yummy healthy taco-like salad to go with my (one) tamale. I have really horrible breath now lol.

We met up with a lady off one of those adult internet "we're looking for sex" sites. hahaha ... her name was Trish... and get this... she is a Police Officer!
So not only was I done by Pat (who is a Police Officer) .. I got done by her as well!

So yes.. YEEHAW indeed.

Tonight I will sleep like a baby and not cough once dagnammit, i will!!!
I'm seriously concerned about my finances, i can't work yet and am living off savings which is not alot, the biggest problem is that when my work permit comes through I'm going to have to go to the states to re-enter and they're going to ask for my $4000 proof of funds, which i most certaintly don't have and i don't know anyone who could lend it to me either, bugger.

My boyfriend organised a movie night and put it up on this member board thingy so his friends could rsvp but unfortunately the only person who did was his ex who has decided she wants him now that's i'm here. I'm pretty secure in the knowledge that he loves me, i mean we have serious history and she's well, weird, to say the least. Anyhoo, i thought this was funny seeing as she told him she couldn't stand to be around us and this is the third thing she's invited herself to (i've been here for a whole 11 days) and she actually showed once, which was interesting, anyhoo, my man and his friends were like, huh, that's wierd, maybe she didn't realise and then today there's a message from her profusely apologising for not being able to make it, seriously, did she think i was looking forward to spending the evening with her trying to get all over my boyfriend, that we're going to be like, buddies now? Hah!
I know this is so not interesting to anyone else but it made me laugh so much i spat out my tea, crazy bitch.

-The girl I'm training did really really well tonight. I have a funny longish story about some douchebag Gotti/Hotti wannabe guy talking shit on her, and then me, and then yeah he went bye-bye. So sorry. Go spraytan some more. It's a great story but it would really take about 3 paragraphs to tell correctly, and well, I doubt anyone really cares. I know I don't right now.
-My cats are insane right now. Old man cat is walking around meowling loudly with a milk cap in his mouth. The middle orange talkative one is running thru the rooms in a circle flipping out because there's a moth in here and he can't get to it. The youngest craziest one is running around the living room with a pink stuffed teddy bear in his mouth, trilling periodically, throwing it in the air, and running after it. Ah, good times.
-Indian food gives you stank curry breath.

^^They were both cops GCG? Wow, wouldn't that be funny if they had worked together, oh my.
Not it isn't funny by a long shot actually. As Pat explained to me in very great detail (so I knew the seriousness) that female police officers can do A LOT of damage to male police officers if they wanted to do so. Then again it can work the other way as well.
(ie whilst POs carry firearms, and sign them in/out, it isn't unheard of them taking their firearm with them when they leave work so if, for instance, i wanted to break it off with a PO and he didn't want to break it off to me.. there is nothing much stopping him getting his firearm and using it against me.)
She is Sunshine Coast. He is Gold Coast. He was quite surprised by that fact. I loved it personally. She was awfully attractive and hot. She knew what she was doing too! ;D
He was telling me how male police officers have been demoted to "desk jockey" status due to female POs ... and/or even fired! So it can be actually quite a not so fun situation.
Tho' it was that night! I had fun. I enjoyed myself. I have a wonderful memory to last a lifetime now (and some photos hehehe).

Ugh. I feel so trapped. So last July I was fired from this phone company, right? Except I still kept them as my phone provider because it really is the cheapest available and I can text unlimited to anyone. But they keep changing their policies---e.g. the one time I let my line suspend, I find out they JUST changed so there is an instant $5 reconnection fee. That was one of the things that really set them apart from their primary competition was "14 day grace period before reconnection fees." And then they changed their rate plans to be actually cheaper--so right now I'm on an obsolete $37 plan which they are now offering for $35. So I ask to change and they say there is a $5 "downgrade" fee. Which is bullshit--way to penalize your existing customers, guys--and I haven't paid but I know that in 2 months I'll have paid more anyway, so I feel stuck.
And they have the wrong address for me so I can't talk to anyone over the phone. And every time I'm talking to Customer Care I'm just wondering if it's someone that knew me when I was a manager there and if they're thinking about why I got fired and judging me for it. And I just get really really panicky and have to hang up on them before I can get anything resolved. And I have old work dreams and then I get panicky and like right now I'm awake at 7am because I'm worrying so much about it.
I should just pay more and go to a different company so I can stop thinking about this phone company anymore, right? Or can I really expect this horrible anxiety every time I hear the name of the company or see their commercials or talk to one of their reps to go away ever? Damn I was more okay with getting fired when I was getting fired.
