Dryer gnomes are my arch nemeses.

Oh, that sentence takes me back to Buffy and the inability of anyone to say the word 'nemeses.' I seriously need a Buffy marathon.

^Fuck him, Cally. Keep yourself busy, make goals for yourself, and I promise you... in time you will heal and be laughing at this schmuck soon enough.

I know but seriously... this really hurt. I thought he was such a great guy and we had so much in common... and fuck I don't know.. I came to Calgary to see him and this is what I get. The best of it is... i've been blowing him off for so long( I've known him for almost a year)... he kept texting me, calling me etc and I would blow him off then I finally gave in and yea.. I should have kept with blowing him off.

I feel like im destined to be single... seems every guy I meet just wants to use me or hurt me... with the exception of Scotty... who it was just not going to work out with due to distance *sigh*

^All I can say is to take it as a learning experience and move on. I know it hurts, but when it's not meant to be, you gotta let it go and press on with life. There's plenty of fish in the sea. Cliche', but true.

Do like I do... just take it out of the dryer and throw it on top. Or on a table in the laundry room.

Its their own fault for forgetting it.

Oh, I do that... but it's such a pain in the ass because the laundry room is so effin cold, I don't want to be there for any longer than I have to! Besides, they're just plain rude. These are the same people that leave nasty notes for everyone else that aren't there waiting for their laundry so it can be moved the exact moment the machine stops.

ok i feel like im being selfish but i dont think i am! i got a new car this summer, and my jetta had 7800 left on it. my parents were planning on paying my car payments as my graduation present. which would be WELL OVER the $2300 that the tempurpedic bed i asked for costs. but now my mom told me thats my graduation present AND my birthday present. my birthday is in august. and she said the bed is double the price i said. i said it was 2000. its 2300. she insists my dad told her 3000. either way, double? nope. and so she got all pissy and put my dad on the phone and i said why on earth is he buying this set shes talking about thats more expensive, i dont want it, i dont want pillows, im very picky about my pillows and i do not want anything more than the mattress. he said he also does not know what shes talking about with it being 3000, and the pillows come free. really, that isnt selfish. im asking for something thats way cheaper than what they were planning on doing.. but yet im a spoiled brat because i said i dont want it at all if thats going to be my birthday present too. and i dont.

im sick of this whole "oh it can be a present for this" crap. last year my cat that i got in what, april? may? was my "birthday present" for august because my mom paid the vet bills. this year while i got stuff at christmas time too, i got a table and chairs set for my apt that was my "christmas present" in october. sure its nice that my parents are doing stuff for me but i think their efforts are a little misguided. and please no one go on about how im lucky blah blah because yes i know i am lucky. but its not so lucky when they act the way they do.

Britt I can see where its coming from. Ifyouw ant to do something ince for someone, go ahead and do it. But don't say "Well, we're changing the rules on this so this is your present for (insert holiday here)."

My father asked me for 300 a month ago to repair his brakes. I had it and gave it to him, I don't expect him to return the money, and it isn't about the money either. However come Christmas I didn't get a cheap-ass gift and say "Well your new brakes are you present."

right! and i mean if my grad present was going to be paying off my car, which would be like $5500 left by now, and instead i wanted a bed thats 2300, and its 2 years no payments no interest, you'd think that would be way better for them! at least if theyre going to get me the stuff and say its a present, give it to me for that holiday. and then if i complain, it makes me look ungrateful. which im not! i feel bad even asking them to buy the mattress to begin with.

I ate way too much whole-wheat pasta and now I feel really sick. I have to make $150 more by tomorrow morning and I don't have a club to work at. I feel way too bloated and tired to go audition somewhere tonight, but I have to. Argh. Oh well, if I do make it on time, it's my very last car payment!

Wahh Cowboys. Now all I have to cheer on are the Spurs, and they ain't wowing me lately. And my "Yumm sauce" was NOT a big hit, although the yeast did poof up impressively.

However, I just had nice post-Lush-bath sex with a nice orgasm courtesy of Lil Buzzer, so I'm mostly in a happy place.

Whatever I make the week prior I put 50% in savings, 40% in bills (groceries, rent, gas etc.) and 10% for me for whatever I want. If anything extra comes up I just work an extra day and adjust accordingly.

Sunday, I was reading your posts about the mac and cheese. The key is to use lotsa butter and like little or no milk. Yum-yum!

I've lost like 10 lbs in the past month. I know it's because I got off my birth control. They made me gain 15 lbs but my boobs grew a whole cup size. So I decided that this time around I'll exercise when I'm on the pills. Exercise+birth control=hot bod with bigger boobs which= happy Melina :)

Sunday, the other great mac and cheese trick is to only use half to three-quarters of the pasta. Save the other half for pasta salad or something else (just put the dry noodles in a baggie). Cook half the box, but use all the sauce powder, the 1/4 cup butter, and just a little splash of milk. Makes for much saucier, yummier mac and cheese!

(I also like to put a little broccoli in mine but I'm lame that way, I love veg.)

I like to put frozen peas in mine! Also ham if I have good ham around. Nom nom nom!

The only problem with not using all the shells is that when the Hubby and I eat m&c, we eat every bite and glare at the other for taking more. Ahhh marital strife over pasta!

Let's see what else can we do to mac and cheese??

I've added like 1/2 can of Hormel chili to it before, that's yummy! Tuna and peas to make a cheap tuna casserole. I even put soy sauce on my mac and cheese, it sounds gross but it's good. I've even gotten my bf to do it ;D

Yeah brushed steel is fingerprint-proof. It's very elegant mod. You can tell him your strippah friend says pooh-pooh to him!
