I woulda snapped the phone in half lol.
So I don`t get customers... seriously they`re all fucked up.
I did the most complicated intense pole combo to the beat of the music and no one even blinked.
Then I dropped from the top of the pole(about 14 feetish) into the splits and they went crazy.
Idiots.

Someone threw up on the floor in the chair next to me while I was in the middle of mine. :'(
I saw that shit coming and was gonna get a bouncer immediately after the dance, but the fucker couldn't wait 1 more minute. That's why I turned my chair (allllll the way) away, otherwise it would have got on me.

Came home (okay, boy's home) after Wing Bowl nightmare, had dinner and a Lush bath and promptly passed out, missing the second shift I was supposed to work that night. Woke up at about 6 this morning. It's weird to be awake so early. So going to work tonight, due to WB dissapointment.

Was this all in one fluid motion? As in, complicated spin/flippy combo into 14ft drop into the splits? If so I would've waited to see it all before clapping and whooping it up.
Otherwise, I guess guys are more impressed by splits and didn't know what to make of the rest.

There are so many interesting threads I would love to respond to at the moment, but words are all jumbled about in my head. Every time I go to reply with my random musings, I simply sit at the keyboard with my fingers poised over the keys for about 2 minutes before I sigh and give up, moving on to the next thread.
'Tis frustrating. But oh well--I'll get there at some point. Perhaps it's just taking me longer to wake up than usual.

W.T.F. Man, I would have been pissed, PMS-y or not!
Speaking of crankiness, I'm totally getting off the Depo shot. And my reasons are three-fold:
1)I'm so sick of bleeding. Supposedly I should have completely stopped bleeding months ago. And I know hormones are different in different bodies, but since my last shot in Dec., I haven't stopped bleeding and I've been CRAMPING and moody. Boo.
2)I got fat. And the reasons for my weight gain are definitely more than just the shot, but I feel that it affected both the gain, and the difficulty I'm having in losing weight. Particularly because the hormones make me want to eat A LOT!
3)I've read a lot about Depo giving you bone problems. Supposedly you're not supposed to be on the shot for more than two years. My doc told me to start taking calcium supplements to try to counteract that, but for the last few months, I did a really bad job of keeping up with them. And it's already been a year for me on Depo, but I don't want to be 50 and have my leg snap in half for no reason or something.
Anyways, I like to make long posts in the Random Thread. What's everyone else up to?!

Depo was the worst thing EVER for me!
I was a fat angry ice queen.
the good news is once i stopped taking it everything got better almost immediately. Too bad i had already completely sabotaged the relationship i was in when i was on it. C'est la vie
I hope you feel better soon, I've heard good things about the nuva ring

Oh G-d!! I'm so sore!! I can't believe I have to dance again all day today and then go to pole class tomorrow night! I was only able to get out of bed today because K gave me a nice long massage with the Therapy massage bar last night. Better living through Lush. I have a Ma Bar bath with my effing NAME on it tonight.
I think at work I'm going to take a leaf out of needtodance's book and go barefoot onstage. I don't care that I need a pedicure, my dogs are barking. Fuck those heels.

If I had a better stage dance, then I'd go barefoot. As it is, I feel like I'd better play by the rules.
Well I'm not allowed to work this club on Saturdays so I'm going to take today to work on cardio and last-minute crunches and go back to work tomorrow evening. Post-SB. Hoping for the best. I'm A game all the way; I'm ovulating, I'll message my reg to let him know I'll be in, clip on my ultra sexy extensions and pack my sexiest two outfits to contrast with the majority of the girls who I'm betting will be trying to look sporty. (But just to be safe I should probably bring a sporty outfit too.)

A friend of mine used the ring, and it came off on her boyfriend's dick during sex. My man is well-endowed, so I really don't want to risk that. But idk what I wanna do for bc. My man says he wants me off Depo, too, cuz he doesn't want to get 'dirty' when we have sex, and he says "I'd rather you be crazy one week a month, then all month long!"
if i was still on BC, I'd be on the ring. And Rob's VERY well endowed.
it's only slipped onto him maybe 1 in 50 times...... and it doesn't distract or ruin things, it may make me giggle if I notice, but I usually don't till the end. Then I just would slip it off and put it back up there.
it's sort of a game, actually.... ring the cock!

I'm on the ring and my FwB is pretty well endowed. We've only had one slip out and that's out of several billion times we've had sex. LOL
I love it though, my period is practically non-existent, no cramps, no real side effects and boys like the way it feels. ;)

I think that's personal. The way you move on from something like that varies from person to person. Plus, it's not like she's bed-hopping or something (from what you tell us), she's dating. That's not terrible. What happened to her was tragic, but I don't believe in soul mates. Losing a loved one doesn't mean you'll never love again.
I dated a guy who was killed in Iraq. He died a less than three months after I dumped him and broke his heart. I felt like the biggest bitch in the whole world because I know that made the end of his life hell. That isn't really related, I just felt like throwing it out there..

^^I can't either, if it helps. But some people just move on quickly. Although I do kind of (judgementally) question how much they really loved the deceased in the first place. I think they might tend to be the more self-centered people in life.

02-02-2008, 01:43 PM
^Well you'd have to have a heart-to-heart with her to understand. I can imagine she's really lonely and needs someone (not a boyfriend, just someone in general). She may not be trying to replace her husband, but this new guy could have just entered her life at a time when she needed him. Or, she could have different feelings for her husband than you might suspect. Who knows? Like I said, it's personal. Whether it took her a week or a year or a decade, it depends on a lot of variables.

Well maybe she is going thru something, sometimes women look for comfort in all the wrong places. Sometimes women stay to thier selves. It dose not mean she dont love her husband. Maybe she is trying to past time. To deal with the hurt! This could be a way she is dealing with things.

Man in just one week I've gone from a total DDR klutzilla to a pretty decent stepper! I can consistently get the best score on 3 foot songs and I'm having way too much fun playing this. I feel like it's going to make me better on stage--balance is not something I can take for granted. Plus it's awesome cardio. Whee!
Stella you made me go "awww gosh." You're too sweet. But yeah Fri/Sat nights are off limits to slacker n00b dancers like me. I bet if I actually showed up ever and brought something new to the stage, I could get Special Shift Privileges but as it is, I'll work my sporadic days/nights and be just fine.
My gigundo Lush Pud from a SWer arrived today! Thank so so vereh much! I'm gonna smell like spicy almonds and oranges for work tomorrow. Supa sweet!
