I bought new shoes, yay!
While buying new shoes, the entire ass of my jeans ripped out, not yay :-[
I'm supposed to be at the dog park by my house doing homework, but there are no dogs there! How can I watch dogs, if there are no dogs??
Being as my ass is now ripping my pants for breathing room, I think I'll go to capoeira tonight, to hopefully help shrink it.
and weren't you the person in chat telling me that I need to put on weight?

^Cream of onion soup? I've never had it. So, would it be more of a creamy chowdery base as opposed to the beef stock base of standard "French" onion soup? It sounds like something I would enjoy immensely with a side of nice crusty bread for dipping.
-My house is trashed. I know for a fact I raised my children better than this. It's like a tornado came thru dropping off cups, juice boxes, socks and jackets. I really feel yick but if I don't clean it up tonight it's just going to be waiting for me (and MrsC) in the morning and that's so much worse. I'm considering hiring a maid for a once-a-week once over of the important stuff. That would probably really help keep the insanity to a minimum. This schedule of working is putting a big damper on getting anything done Wed-Sat. I leave the house around 2pm, get to work around 3-ish, start at 4, go til 2am, get out around 3am, home around 4am, in bed by maybe 530. Then I pretty much get up, take a shower, maybe eat something and do it again. It doesn't leave much time for anything. Then I just spend my days "off" playing catch-up on the house and running errands like a madman. Urgh.
-Anyone wanna go get me a Friendly's sundae, please? Anything not too chocolatey will be fine. Preferably something involving black raspberry. I'm on an ice cream kick this week. My friends who I hang with on Sunday nights live in South Philly. There's a Mr Softee ice cream man that seriously comes by around 10 every night. I'd be willing to bet he's dispensing more then frozen treats.

I miss Friendy's. I'm not a big sweets person...but a Happy Ending sundae with mint chip ice cream and marshmallow topping would be awfully yummy!

I finally broke down and did it. I bought a cross-stitch kit. It's got blue hydrangeas and I think it would make a pretty throw pillow for my bed. I'm happy to be cross-stitching again, though the nasty voice in my head is furious with me for finding something to do besides write... so I guess I'll write for a bit and THEN cross-stitch, yes?

Yes , ShOt. Try cock. Try everything once.

Just a note to people: Your mother lied. Chickens CAN fly.
Yekhefah
03-03-2008, 07:06 PM
Who said chickens can't fly? They can't fly far or high, but they can fly. Except certain species of chicken that have been artificially bred for agriculture; they are too fat and chesty. But regular normal chickens can.
Baby turkeys can too. I made that discovery in the production office of a movie I worked on a couple years ago. I had way too much fun with those baby turkeys.
I'm going to watch a movie and cross-stitch, and write when I'm feeling more zen. This is the plan. Off to implement it.

I bought one more thing - , because I'm gonna wear them with my "I Love Lucy Dress" I bought yesterday. It's blue with white polka dots and a white collar, just a little shorter than knee-length, and it needed some red patent leather shoes, dammit! Plus I can wear them with jeans and other skirts. Half my wardrobe is black and it'll be so much fun to wear these around. Now I just really need a wide belt to match the shoes, but that's going to have to wait until I make more money. End shopping.

Wow. So walking door to door was kind of cool. Confirmed a couple of Obama supporters and reminded them where and when they can vote tomorrow. Only oogy moment was when some guy came out of his house, looked me up and down for several seconds while I'm doing my shpiel, and finally said "Whoa, you're tall!" Put me in club mode instantly because I get that ALL FUCKING NIGHT LONG. Had to fight back the urge to say "yeah, like five miles of legs, right?" or one of my other lines to call attention to "tall=sexy." ::)
It got cold and super windy though! I had to call it a night after just an hour of walking and canvassing. <----lame and wimpy do-gooder
Then I celebrated two days of hard work by going to Arby's and getting one of their new chocolate turnovers. Nomming ensued. I prefer their cherry for sure but it was good to try. And now I soooo stuffed! The rest of the evening and tomorrow and possibly Wednesday = good behavior time off. Naps and TV and hot baffs and nomming! Not bad.

Don't you love how people always feel compelled to comment when they see a tall person? I mean, it's not like you hadn't noticed and it's not like there are no other tall people in the world. My brother is 6'5" (and still growing) and he often wears a T-shirt that says, "No, I don't play basketball." And still total strangers are constantly telling him how tall he is, like he hadn't noticed before. ::)

I have this trick where I can tell exactly how tall people are. It's weird, I'm ALWAYS right. So I'd just go, "6'5"?" and he'd be all amazed at my powers and I'd just nod and walk away. It's one of the super weird ways I get dances and tips, 'cause I can guess height.

Quicky story, my name is a little unusual, its out there, just not a regular name. So I was filling out something for work and hand it to the Admin. Asst. she looks at it, and asks me "Is that how you spell your name?".....flabbergasted i said yes, how could I not know how to spell it...she then goes .. "...are you sure...? :O

*nodnodnod* Been getting it for about 10 years. Gee, of COURSE it never gets old. Why in the world would they think that? At least I'm not embarrassed about it. I have very good posture; one of my (tall) aunts once said that there's nothing sadder than a tall person slouching and it's been my unofficial motto since.

Do you ever watch The Price is Right? I'm thinking of that yodeling game, where the person has to guess the price and the little yodeling man moves up increments for every dollar they were off, until he falls off the cliff. I am now picturing this game with bra sizes instead of cost...once your little yodeling man goes over the edge, it's fondling time, missy!

"CHICKEN FEET
Chicken feet are very complicated. The foot has 16 small bones. The bones that make up toes are called phalanx. The last phalanx of the toe is claw like. There are four toes and the third is the longest. Many birds have webbed toes, but chicken does not. "http://library.thinkquest.org/05aug/00044/14e804f0.png
