Did I miss something? /:O
What the hell?? I missed something too...why are you girls fighting? Cant we all just get along?
It stems from the BPD thread.
Ladies, please calm down. :'(

i think *i* missed something. i say im putting someone on ignore and BG thought that someone was her.. why she would assume that when i say someone is fake that meant her i'm not quite sure.. so now she put me on ignore. ::)
Nope, it's taken care of LJ. Carry on. ;)
Ok, I'm still confused. I just spent the last 9 hours with our 7 year-old autistic cousin, my brain is not functioning properly yet.
Don't worry about it let's just work on the antidote for whatever it was in those cookies that makes me hallucinate little Greenland boys as hot Asian girls, K? I could be making some *big* mistakes.
The antidote is... more cookies! ;D

Off to the library to get a college algebra book. I want to start going back to school full time to be a nurse, and I have to take an assessment test soon. And guess what? I forget math really easy once I don't use it ::)

Seeing as the last post from Britt in the BPD thread sounded hostile, and then she posted something cryptic here, call me crazy but it sounded like me or Z she was ignoring, and it annoyed me that somebody could be so catty after I sent them a PM in which I confided in them.

Eh I'll probably stay home and rehearse, I'm trying out for some new band on Monday and tomorrow is shot since I have to go in to the hospital. I'd just feel guilty if I blew off rehearsing just for Sonic, even though the songs are pretty easy. I'm still a schoolnerd like that. But thank you.

Woo hoo! I get mail from Lysondra!!
Hyperthyroid. Pair that with my naturally high Asian metabolism, and yea... constant hunger. :( I just had a ridiculously huge lunch at my favorite restaurant followed by a giant piece of cake... and I'm starving again. My stomach is actually growling! :O
do you eat cayenne at all? cayenne is an appetite suppressant, which, though you don't need it at all, could probably help keep the hunger pains away. Just be sure to keep eating at least as much as you're already eating currently.
You can take cayenne shots, or just flavor your food with it-- plus, the higher the HU the better it works. I tend to use 90,000 HU cayenne.

I am sleepy and a bit tipsy and I really want a nap. Unfortunately I have to leave for work in ten minutes, work a full shift, and then go run around all night. DO NOT WANT. We have friends visiting from L.A. though, and that's awesome. It's good to see them and it looks like they might move up here, so yay! We went to breakfast and walked around downtown and went to Hip Chicks Do Wine for a tasting, and after I get off work we're going to run around downtown. We have a bunch of shit planned for tomorrow too. I'm so tickled they're here, I love them. I can tell they're a bit taken aback by what an upbeat cheerful person I am these days, LOL! Yay for Portland and yay for friends.
But I would REALLY like a nap. Le sigh.

Gross gross gross gross! How do I tell my best friend that he smells bad and I'm tired of seeing his eye crust every day since he doesn't wash his face and his ears need to be cleaned because they've completely crusted over...without him being mad at me? Sigh.
And I need money.

I think Lysondra alone has assumed I was talking about her about 5 times that I wasn't!!
Let's all just stop and breathe, my lovelies.

when it comes to obvious shit like this, I find going off on a hissy fit tends to get the message across. Like, "hey, I know you're going for the hippie shit, but I'm tired of looking at your dirty ears and crusty eyes. Get your shit together!"

But the new place is just amazing and I had a very successful Ikea trip. Thanks for asking!

So I decided to cook a welcome home dinner for Liz last night, to celebrate the first night in her new home. One of my hobbies is dabbling at being a gourmet chef, so I decided to go all out.
I decided to make a Veal Sentino, which is veal scallopini with asparagus and cheese. I used fortina cheese to give it a bit of a kick. Each piece of veal gets 2 asparagus spears on top and then is covered with slices of the fortina so it can melt over the sides and cover the veal when cooking. To finish off, a simple sauce made from melted butter and lemon juce and some buttered noodles on the side.
I paired the meal with a nice bottle of Chateau Fuisse Pouilly-Fuisse that I had in my wine rack. It's a French Maconnais white wine with a nice fruity but firm taste. Pairing wines with food is one of my favorite things to do as the perfect pairing will elevate the entire culinary experience.
The meal was a big hit and Liz complained to me that if I keep cooking like this, she's going to get fat, lol. She told me that she forgot how good of a cook I was. Awwww, that was nice to hear.
If you mean fontina cheese, this sounds delicious! (I dunno, fortina could be tasty too, I've just never tried it. ;))

I pretty much live on spicy food. It doesn't do a damn thing to suppress my hunger. I had a full blood panel done a few months ago, and they can't find anything that could explain why I'm always so hungry.

I take potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, C, E, and selenium supplements. Nothing has seemed to work, and I continue to stump every doctor I go to. One day, my metabolism is just going to shut down and I'll weigh 600 lbs.

Ok, this fucking sucks. I've been to 15 different stores, but I still can't find anything to wear tomorrow. I also can't find shoes that I like enough to spend money on. Nor can I find any handbags that I really like. My BCBG shoes are starting to get worn out and my Kate Spade bag is showing its age. I desperately need new things, but my taste is just too damn expensive for my cheapiness. Why can't I bring myself to actually spend money on myself?!

I've tried cayenne. I also did the Southeast Asian thing and ate chilis with everything. No luck. I'm literally in a constant state of hunger. I can only recall feeling FULL a handful of times in my life, and the feeling never lasted very long.
And as I said, they ran a full blood panel. No signs of anything unusual.
