Is the maple syrup different from the syrup in the stores? (not the Mrs. Butterworth stuff, the kind that's in the glass jars)

The only difference may be in the grade. Since I make syrup right through the full syrup season, I'll have all different grades depending on whether it's the first batch or the 10th. It goes from light to Amber to dark as hell...
The Mrs Butterworth, Log cabin, Aunt Jemimah stuff is all imitation MS.

Can't promise you wont turn into a part time alcoholic though.... I think Manitoba needs to change its slogan to 'Friendly Drunks' instead of "Friendly Manitoba" ... well they did change it from Friendly Manitoba to 'Spirited Energy" ::)

I'd be surprised if they offered a variety of grades. Usually the stuff available in grocery stores would be Canada Grade 1 light. If it's made in Vermont say, it would be US Grade A light. Personally I prefer the Amber stuff as it has a stronger maple flavour, but whatever grade you get, it's a thousand times better than the "other kind" for sure.
What do you pay and for what amount? Like, how much is a half liter?

FUCK ME, I LOVE PORTLAND.
I just went to a frickin' awesome dinner at a great little restaurant that used to be a brothel (had a bite of K's steak and it was the best steak I've ever tasted), then we went to Dante's for the Sinferno Cabaret. That might just be the coolest damn thing I've ever seen. Burlesque, go-go dancers, fire dancers, bitchen DJ spinning real LP's, and other assorted awesomeness I can't even describe. THIS, my friends, is what this industry is supposed to be about!

Yea catch up is insane.... I don't try it on TRT. I was just doin it everywhere else since i've hardly been on for the last month. Tonight was the first night I really had to just chill in front of SW without having to worry about work or the boy teasing me for being on SW lol.
