As far as any issues I have with women the only thing I can say is that I am athe product of years conditioning by your typical female. What can I say I have decided to accepted my mysogyny.

Given the sheer number and variety of women available--even to the most homely and ill-tempered and financially-strapped among those of us with the Y chromosome--I fail to see how any man can be the product of an entire gender. Much as I rail against certain seemingly pervasive attitudes in our society with regard to gender roles and the attempted systematic emasculation of boys, there's just too damn many women around to lay one's own social ineptitude and malfeasance at the feet of women more broadly.

No one has underscored the point that prostitution traditionally and routinely describes an exchange of sex in which only one person gets paid, not both parties.well, in some instances, two whores get paid...at the same time.}:D

In the case of porn, not only are both parties paid by a third party, which is unlike prostitution, but the target of the sexual satisfaction is the viewer of the film, not the actors. In fact, the parties engaging in intercourse for porn have a director telling them what to do for purposes of satisfying the viewer's prurient interest, not their own.well, that's the theory, but what if the third party and the second party (or first party) is one in the same? for example, john stagliano, rodney mooore, ed powers, max hardcore are just a few of the people who have produced (ie: they paid the girls), directed and performed in their own films. but hey, what do i know about acting? so, i'm sure it's possible none of them actually derived any personal gratification from throat fucking and anally jackhammering, a young, fresh looking 18 y.o. fresh off the bus from Iowa.

Nasty? After she's been nice enough to pleasure you after such a cheap date? I don't that it would be terribly accurate nomenclature

Without looking up the definition in a dictionary, my opinion is that they are not prostitutes. Otherwise, it all depends on what definition you want to use.

American Heritage Dictionary
1. One who solicits and accepts payment for sex acts.

Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of Law
: a person who engages in sexual activity indiscriminately esp. for money —compare PANDERER, PIMP

M-W.com
1 a : a woman who engages in promiscuous sexual intercourse especially for money : WHORE b : a male who engages in sexual and especially homosexual practices for money

Going by American Heritage, I'd have to say yes.
Going by M-W Law, I'd have to say no.
Going by M-W.com, I'd have to say yes and no (depending on which definition of promiscuous (http://www.m-w.com/dictionary/promiscuous) you want to use...)

If it's just all about performing sexual acts for money with no regard to who, how, where or why, then there are many doctors/nurses/medical technicians that are prostitutes as well. Why? Vibratory Stimulation and Electroejaculation (http://www.malereproduction.com/19_electroejaculation.html) because of paralysis, disease, etc. Bottom line: they are being paid money to make a man ejaculate. If you want to use the broadest definition of prostitute, it shouldn't matter whether it's a doctor/nurse in a medical center sticking an electrode in your rectum to make you ejaculate or some random person off the street doing the same thing behind a dumpster.

What about sperm donors (assuming they are paid)? Are they prostitutes? Assuming they produce the donation via masturbation/ejaculation, they're being paid to perform a sexual act, so yes they are. Or you could argue they are just being paid for their sperm which would not be prostitution, and it just happens that the most common method to retreive it is a sexual act. A less common method that is not a sexual act is sperm extraction (http://www.cancer.org/docroot/MBC/content/MBC_2_3X_How_Can_I_Preserve_My_Fertility_Before_or _During_Cancer_Treatment.asp?sitearea=MBC) surgery.

Using that same reasoning, you could argue that porn stars are being paid to produce a video/DVD of a sexual act, and it just happens that the most common way to do that is, um, a sexual act. A less common method that is not a sexual act would be creating an animated video/DVD using the porn stars' voices/likenesses.

Here's another scenario. A husband and wife make a private sex tape with no intentions of it leaving their home. A.) 2 years later, they decide to sell it. B.) They accidently return the video to Blockbuster. A porn executive goes to Blockbuster to rent a movie and ends up with the sex tape. 2 years later, he finds out who they are and pays them for the tape. Either way, did they suddenly become prostitutes 2 years after the video was made? They didn't create it with the intention of getting paid, but they still eventually got paid for having sex.

If someone believes that if something involves sexual acts and someone being paid for those acts regardless of who, how, where or why, then everyone getting paid for those acts in the scenarios above would be prostitutes. I personally wouldn't use such a broad definition, but there are probably some who would.

And if they're managing the young actress they're plowing, they're pimps too. And johns. I dunno. I'm so confuzed.

I grew up there and I didn't let anybody do that sh*t to me until I was 19.

I personally wouldn't use such a broad definition, but there are probably some who would.LOL..okay, but up to this point, no one has really broadened it as much as you have today. for example, no one has even come close to saying a legitimate medical procedure which involves sticking the equivalent of a cattle prod up someone's ass, while under anesthesia, is even remotely similar to prostitution.

Well, okay, those guys are whores. And if they're managing the young actress they're plowing, they're pimps too. And johns. I dunno. I'm so confuzed.AFAIK, i don't think they manage the girls. i remember this one scene from Gag Factor 7(?) where this actress had a melt down and refused to continue (unless she gets more money) because her co-star was opening up her sinus cavity with the relentless jackhammering of the back of her throat (BTW, which is the whole point of GF). at the time, i was thinking where is her suitcase pimp..er..agent to handle the negotiation.

Nasty? After she's been nice enough to pleasure you after such a cheap date? I don't that it would be terribly accurate nomenclaturehey, the broad ordered food as if she had just finished a 30 day hunger strike (waiter...i'll have the steak, lobster and a splash of champagne, please...tee-hee). but hey, i am being nice. i was nice enough to take her to denny's, bang her and pick up the tab. i figured the least she could do is wash, wax and buff my car when i'm done.

I prefer Wendy's punk....geez, get it right fuckstick!! Buy me a spicy chicken sandwich and you can stick it up my arse lube-free! Yum!sigh...a spicy chicken sandwich? sheesh, you biatches must think i'm made of money. okay, but you're not getting the frosty for dessert. oh yeah, you can rotate the tires.

Why the fuck would a woman fuck a man just for buying her dinner? Is she homeless or something?? And why would you expect it for spending $50? I never understood that entitlement....

I was trying to make a joke. You people need to either lighten up or fuck off.

Porn stars? What about the fluffer girls - how the hell do they get away with their job!?

On obscenity, I'm pretty sure (unless there's been a case in the last few years I don't know about) that the only obscenity charge to ever stick, and the only thing that's ever ultimately been found obscene in this country is child pornography. People have been arrested on other obscenity charges but eventually they win.

It's easy enough to find a jury that will all agree that something is offensive, even hate the person responsible and despise the material, but damn hard to get the jury to send someone to *jail* because of it.

true, if the person is willing to go the distance. OTOH, many people take a plea agreement, choose to self-censor or shut down because fighting an federal case can cost a minimum of 250,000 (or more) to defend one's self with no guarantee of the outcome. either way, it's no skin off Uncle Sam's nose. our tax dollars are footing their bill.
