What were we saying again about leggings?

LM, that silver dress you posted is awful. If I saw that lying on someone's floor, I'd be tempted to throw garbage in it!

And I agree on the 80's trends, but for a different reason. I actually love the stuff.

But they say that if you were around to wear it the first time around, you're too old to pull it off the second time.

Sigh.... back to my uniform of khaki capris, with tanks that cover my tummy and a cute hoodie. IOW, 40 something Mommy gear.

FAKE designer purses
pointy toed flats

there are a lot more, but im lazy

I loathe ballet flats. I think I'm alone here... but ick!

I can't stand those huge sunglasses. My youngest sister has a zillion pairs of them and they all make her head (or anyone's I've seen them on, really) too big for her body.

Not that I'm a fashion queen, I own 24 pairs of the same white sock with no variations, 3 pairs of the same jeans, and plain colored baby-T's and wifebeaters. That's it.

I've seen a lot of the younger folks wearing 80s stuff. Trust me, it looks equally stupid on them. Worse, because the young'uns seem to be a lot heavier than they were in my day.

Nope, not alone. Nothing makes the leg look less flattering than a ballet flat.

You look way too young in your avatar to be remembering the 80's!!!

I don't know. My daughter seems to rock that look but she makes it edgy and not so cutesy...just like her former punk momma back in the day.

My mom had to do a double take during a visit the other day when my daughter came home from work. She swore it was me!!

Hahaha, this post made me laugh so much. I HAAAAAATE crocs too and when I see people wearing them it stirs emotion in me too and I want to rip those shoes off peoples feet and hurl them as far as I can! ;D

I also think the 80s should stay in the 80s when it comes to mainstream fashion. And dont get me started on haircuts, lol!

FUCKING CROCS AHHHHHHHHHH THESE ARE THE UGLIEST SHOES OF ALL TIME.
My bf and I have a hatred of crocs and people are everywhere in them. everytime we see someone wearing them it makes us angry.

They are gardening shoes NOT a fashion statement and they make people look like they have silly big feet.

Girls if you are gonna wear low rise pants get a low rise thong to match I dont need to see the stalk of your thong up over your pants when u sit down in front of me.

Anything nauticle - worst fashion ever!

I agree with one of the other posters - short stumpy legs in skinny pants.

People who take no notice of the fact that their body type does not suit a particular fashion and wear it anyway - fluro pink leggings MIGHT look ok on a 15 yo with skinny little legs but it dont look good on a 30 something 2 ton tessy.

Ha ha ha...oh great. You'd probably come in here and throw out my whole wardrobe then!

Ever see that movie "The Banger Sisters" with Goldie Hawn and Susan Sarandon? Susan enters her closet and exclaims "Everything I own is beige"!

Umm...yeah...that would be me.:O

Yeah, I don't like ballet flats at all either.
Yesterday, I saw what seemed to be a cross between ballet flats and crocs. They were truly astonishing.

Aw, I love ballet flats. I don't own any though.

I have to confess, my favorite shoes are the little cloth ones I get in Chinatown for about five bucks. Every Chinatown in every country has these all over the place; they are simple black cloth with no lining and a flat rubber/plastic sole, round toe and an ankle strap. I have a plain pair like these, and a pair with roses embroidered on the toe parts. They last about a year and then I throw them out and get a new pair. They're comfy, and *I* think they're cute even if they're cheap! They go with everything.

Maybe my $5 Chinese shoes are the equivalent of crocs, but I don't care!

Hahaha.
OMG Satan walked into Showgirls back in Movember (I hope that makes sense, lol!) And he was wearing a red pair of fake red crocs. I had to go and inform him that theres no way in hell that Satan would be walking around in bloody crocs, what was he thinking!!! He was a bit taken aback and appologised and asked for advice on what would be suitable Satanic style footwear, lol. I wish I could have grabbed them off of his feet! (I have thrown a customers thongs out through the doors before, just because it was funny.)

This is the store I buy my high-waisted stuff from. It's more upscale than that shitty high-waisted jeans crap.

I just wish their website wasn't entirely in flash, or I could show you what I mean. BLAH!

Hehheh... I'm defending my 'fashion no-nos'... ooooo.
