^ *just shakes head*

you know what i think i'm going to start telling these guys? "you remind me of my dog" and when they say "how's that?" or "your DOG???" i'll say "yeah, she's a 6 lb chihuahua that thinks she's a pitbull. all talk and no action."

Hahahahahahahaha!!! Heres one I like to use.

broke young guy: Hey baby! You so hot girl, what u doin' later? Come kick it wit me n da boyzzzzz
me: Would you guys like a dance?
broke young guy: not now girl but it's coo, I got u later girl. You want a drink? What u doin' after this?
me: So... are you into country music?
broke young guy: uhhhhhh.....
me: Well, theres this country song I like. It's called 'if you got the money, I got the time'. :P

This is followed by a dumbfounded expression on their faces + me strutting off. If the insult doesn't send them backing down, the country reference will be enough of a turn off. lol

PS, there realy is a song with that title. :P:P:P

:banghead: :banghead: Jeez!! This is one of my biggest gripes EVER!!!! B4 I started dancing and I frequented strip clubs with my friends, we were there to have fun and SPEND $$$$$!!!! The last night I worked it was exactly like this!! All these young guys under 25 just sitting there "chillin'" and not even paying attention to the stage obviously not tipping either!! Honestly! I understand that the club I work at is a little on the upscale side, and to "the men" it's "the strip-club-to-be-at"...but seriously, like Fergie puts it, "If U Ain't Got No Money, Take Your Broke Ass home!" I swear to God...if there is another night like that I am gonna dance to "Glamorous" and glare at each and everyone of these "Wannabe Ballerz!!!" Find somewhere else to "chill" and "look pimp!!" Idiot Asshole Losers!!!! RRRRRRrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! Have I vented enough!?>:bomb:

I FOUND THE ANSWER!! -- DANCER DOLLARS!

I went to a club last night and they charged and extra 10 dollars at the door and gave every customer 10 "dancer-dolalrs". They work exactly like Disney Dollars. Same value as regular money but ONLY good within the club. The means that guys must spend them before the night runs out or be stuck with bad paper.

This is a GREAT way to make sure that dues are tipping!!!

agreed. instead of a drink minimum there should be a dance minimum!

^^^^YUP!!! I've been saying that a while now. Since guys want to treat it like a cabaret, they should have to purchase a minimum amount of merchandise to stay.

The club locally I prefer to work within whilst not perfect does have one thing going for it: it gets the receptionist at the front door to push for the patrons to buy an "intro dance" along with the cover charge. I didn't always appreciate this until I realised how lucrative this really can be for me as the patron has already made the purchase to be a customer of a dance ..... even if it is a one song no touching dance in a club where touching is allowed/common.

Most of the time you can get the guy(s) to upgrade to a normal 10 min lap dance (touching and longer - around 3 songs) when they want to 'use' their intro dance.

I also agree with the tipping dollars! Even if it means us dancers have to endure a 10% "admin" charge (or whatever the club management wants to call it) to cash in the dollars... at least it will give every dancer in the club hope that they will make SOMETHING off every guy that walks into the club.

ARGH!

although i seem to do somewhat alright (in my limited young-guy experience) with a somewhat youthful crowd, i agree with most of these complaints 100%. all i can say then, is:

THAT'S ANOTHER DAMN GOOD REASON WHY I'M DAYSHIFT. ;D

it's so rare that i interact with young guys at my club, unless i work a double shift, and just watching their antics and lack of etiquette/BUYING reminds myself why nights irk me so...
