^ Pink should be moderated by the dancers. This follows the letter and spirit of SW. I think Blade makes a huge contribution to the site and is a valuable asset to have as a contributor and as a mod, but I would yield to the dancers on this one. I feel that the Lounge should be female-moderated. As the principal financial supporter of the site (God, that sounds snotty, doesn't it? Shoot me, honestly, if I sound like an overbearing prick, because my contribution always vastly pales in the slightest comparison to Pryce's and in comparison with the other mods) it would be my preference that the dancers control and direct pink.
Meanwhile, I am concerned about Rhi. Do we know that everything is OK with her? I've been away on business for so long that I've not been able to keep up with her and make sure that everything is OK with her.

I wouldn't care about a male mod in the lounge, as long as there is a female one in there as well. IMO no part of SW should be modded by males only. I don't even think CC should have been modded by guys only so for so long.

I dont understand this opione from how i understand this site is not female only or stripper only there are some sections that are that way but not the site the lounge is open terrioty and I think blade would be a great mod for it. Plus he is a well known long term member not a newb so i futher more don't see the problem.

I'm not saying Blade shouldn't be able to mod the lounge. I'm saying that there should be a chick modding it, too (Need a couple of mods in here, anyway, it's active as hell). I don't think there should be any place ruled only by guys on SW.
But, then again, i have no clue why anyone wants the modding job in the first place. It's thankless, and no matter what you do people get hollering at you.

seriously, lets just get another one. i think everybody feels like we need more than one for this section, anyway, and especially with one missing.. whats the harm in having a guy, at least for now, to have SOMEONE? i mean.. someone pointed out we have 3 mods for the music section, which i think we all can agree is not really necessary, and we only have one here. there are way more reasons to have more than one in the lounge, and i dont think it matters who it is.
we just need one!
is this (not the thread, the issue) going to be resolved soon? i feel like its not good that it was brought out in the open that we have no mod here.. i dont think many people really noticed before!
as for the poll.. maybe not really the best way to go about it, but maybe we a poll would be a good idea to pick those who might volunteer to mod the lounge? since everyone seems to be concerned with having a say...

Not another popularity contest. Let (gluttons for punishment) people volunteer and have the mods themselves vote on who gets the hit based on merit, rather than who is the current prom queen.
Please.
Anyone remember RoseDelight?

how could we forget rosedelight?
:)
anyways, im in agreement, we need more than one mod, and i think we actually need more than two. i think if MM has three, Lounge should definitely have 3.

I am reluctant to say what I'm about to, but it's something that has been irking me.
People are pointed all the time for mishandeling mod issues. Is this not a mishandeling of mod issues? Aside from the fact that it brought attention to the fact that a section is currently un moderated, and open to attacks, would this not be more appropriate in site issues? And the fact that this was discussed in mod lounge, which is a private section for mod's only, and when the issue was not resolved satisfactory, the issue was made public. I dont know..but that rubs me the wrong way. It also seems that this thread was created as an attempt to gain support for one persons cause, not to resolve an issue.
Would it not have been better to create a thread simply stating " we need a second Mod for the lounge. Blade has offered to do it. Please vote if you would like Blade to mod, or please suggest another person.
This would have prevented drama, it would not have cast boys against girls, it would not have called attention to an unmoderated section, and it would have just seemed a little more well handled.
Ultimatly, this site may be run by a guy, but I've always heard that this site is for strippers, ultimatly, and the girls will come before boys. There is a reason this site is pink.
I don't think I would mind to much of a male moderated this section, although I would perfer a female.
With all respect, I'm not not sure I would like to have this particular male to moderate it.Yes this was indeed a mis handeling of mod issues and I've been punished. I wont discuss what happened however.
I do not believe this topic was best suited for site issues, because it is more of an off topic thing..I simply wanted the sites input, not to try and gain any popularity out of it. Anyone who knows me knows I'm not here to win the popularity contest, I do what I want when I want. Unfortunately this poll/thread was a direct result of my temper getting the best of me, and posting without thinking or calming down.
Thanks for speaking honestly kaylinn.

This probably had nothing to do with my comments, however, on the off chance it did allow me to clarify.
The 'popularity contest' comment had nothing to do with blade or any existing moderator. It was only in reference to the event in which any new mods were selected.
Last time people voted, we wound up with well liked members getting the nod... And some sections went unmoderated for weeks at a time, one mod was found out to be, eh, not who 'she' claimed she was (probably a guy playing some weird game). Now, most of that ironed out into what the site has now but it was a problem for a while. I don't really think the members should have as much say in it this time (assuming new mods are selected). The mods we have know the game, and should be able to tell who might be able to handle it and who might not be such a great mod.

no, pryce ultimately decided. There was a vote, but he got to choose who could be voted on. He had veto rights.
And I'm 99% certain that RoseDelight was TL. Not because everyone is TL. I just think some the posts were very TLish.

This thread is a good example of why I don't think Blade is appropriate for this section. Not angry, a little surprised, and calling it as I see it. I would like to have as many female industry mods as possible. Not fully against guys, obviously, but I have a preference for industry females. We'll have a new mod very soon - hopefully before the day is done and two sounds like a good idea - we just need to find the right two.
