My first post; hopefully I don't bore ya! Well girls, as long as we're swapping stories, I knew a couple out here, male dancers, and the one started doing OTC, Bruce, and would lie to his boyfriend that he was going on acting auditions(I'm in LA) or was working. After a while we all got concerned and starting talking to the guys about what was going on but there was nothing anyone can do. The guy who was doing OTC had told so many lies that he was lost in his own stories and eventually Danny just kicked him out.

It's been several years now and still if you talk to Bruce he'll still tell you about auditions he never went on and how he left Danny because of abuse(none of which was true). Bruce's new friends all think Danny was a horror, but in reality he's the sweetest man and its just Bruce having to continue to lie to explain what happened. It's funny how lies become true if you repeat them enough.

I think most important is the relationships we make in life, certainly more important than making money, sounds like your man has already compromised for you, if a little compromise is required to make your lover happy, that's a small price to pay for someone you love.

I would do it. My boyfriend does not pay my bills. My life, my job, aslong as he knew of my "job."
Also, you can always say that you met a guy for lunch that was an old neighbor/father figure to you when you grew up (if the guy is older.)
This would only be in an extreme case where you were caught.

I just read this whole post. At the beginning I was like "woo hoo go do it!!" But since I hear you saying no amount of money is worth losing him, well, just re-read what you wrote. When you make a commitment with someone that it stays IN THE CLUB you really need to honor it. I met with two people outside the club for money and maybe 4 or 5 for sex/dating. I ended my relationship with a great guy because I wanted to do this, to act out and receive more attention.

Well, yeah, it's just not worth it. I really draw strength from being able to walk away and say to people tht I never meet otc. Just one time and it could snowball. I know your club is not always fabulous....but, well...idk just follow your heart.

My mom said "Don't let all that money change you" very true...
