Work work work at least 4 nights a week. Pay off my debts and have a savings stash for taxes and future expenses. Make headway on getting my appraiser's license. Get a mole removed. Get regular haircuts. Do yoga. Try to write and read more. Spend time outside. Study languages.

You're my hero, Lena-Alaskan-Wild-Woman. Are you buying land to start an intentional community? Because that's dope.

Not in particular, and definitely not right away, but it's more than possible that it would happen kind of unintentionally. Which is probably a bad plan.

I've never been to Hawaii but I've heard of Pangaia... and (totally unrelated but same name) I love the magazine PanGaia, too.

My goal is to save up $4000 for my two week trip to the UK (plane ticky, hotel, pub $, etc. I work six nights a week at my "regular" job and four nights at my house club. I've been pinching pennies like never before:p

I also go to school part time, otherwise I would probably pull more shifts.

I'm hoping to spend every summer in a different county until I'm done with school and can move to the UK or Australia for a few years

To do everything in my power to get my IBS under control. (Seeing specialists, naturopaths, homeopaths- everything possible). It would improve the quality of my life immensely.

I have this too, and I have found that cannabis is very helpful in relieving the symptoms. I don't know if you live in a medical marijuana state, but it is approved for prescription for IBS.

Other things I've noticed that help: vigorous exercise (about 60-90 minutes a day keep the cramps away), Low fat diet- especially avoiding animal fats, stress management and on occasion Valerian root helps (I'm not sure why). I have also gotten relief from acupuncture, but that can get pretty expensive.

My goals this summer is to sell my primary residence, sell my speculation home, move into a fixer and fix it. After I'm done doing all that, then I need to start building a "green" subdivision of small-ish houses.

Beat Tiger Woods in match play. How much for one of you lovely ladies to caddie the round for me? Perhaps you could distract him? ;)

Save $8000 by August

Get down to 129

Stretch every day.

Do a split grip no legs invert, i.e. the butterfly. Be able to climb the pole and then do a mount. Oh, oh, and do a shoulder mount. (This might be ambitious).

Stop hurting my shoulder from poor stretching and over training on said inverts...not over training is going to be really hard. :(

Get an apartment for the fall when I move up north with enough space to dedicate strictly to the pole that I don't have to move furniture every time I want to practice.

Sleep 8 hours every night.

Get to 125 lbs.

Get closer to being able to do the splits.

Buy a shih-tzu puppy and all of his/her accoutrement

Have $5,000 saved before school starts to have rolling over in CD's to get a nice headstart on my future trips to India, Japan, boobs, emergencies, etc

NO SUNBURNS THIS SUMMER.

I want to fill out my schedule for the rest of the year too. I've got 10 weeks open from now to the beginning of '08, and I want to have all of those weeks filled up with something. (That does include taking a week off here and there.)I know that sounds weird, but I am happy when I see my calender covered with stuff.

Ok, I made my goal! The rest of my year is booked. If I'm not dancing, I'm shooting or doing some kind of appearance. I'm oddly satisfied that I got this taken care of so soon. :)

Do either cardio or toneing excersizes everyday until I lose that last 20-25 lbs. (I wanna look as sexy as you guys do!)

Feel good enough about myself and my dancing that I can land a job at an up-scale SC that I won't need to do extras at in order to make good money.

Start making bigger payments on my student loans.

Get an A in my 2 summer courses.

Put as much money back in savings as possible so I can get my car fixed up, get my teeth worked on, and have an emergency fund.

Hopefully if I can accomplish my summer goals I will be set up to accomplish my long-term goals such as paying off my student loans entirely, finishing my degree and saving up for my dream home down payment! ... though the thought of a nose job and a BA does have me thinking... :-\

So far I've met the goals I've posted (got good grades this far in my subjects, lost the weight I wanted). I now want to get good grades in my finals and maintain my weight at the low-normal level I'm happy with.

Thanks for the support.

Anyhow, ticked one of the items off my list.. kinda. Got the house I wanted and have paid the deposit in full. Settlement's not til early July so I have til then to get the shop-fittings organised before I move in. So business isn't underway yet per-se, but it's the first step which is good. I just want this semester to be over and done with so I can get a move on with everything I want done during the semester break. Time moves sooo slooowly...

I was laughing hysterically because it's winter here... I wasn't being rude... agghh... I was laughing because you purposefully had to point out 'winter' when the obviously northern thread said 'summer'... man I even bolded it.

Maisumi
05-28-2007, 02:54 AM
Don't worry, I didn't think you were being rude. I thought you were just doubting whether I could get my list done in winter, that's why you highlighted it. It's hard to convey attitudes and emotions through text, so I apologise if I came off as being too defensive. Didn't mean to.

um.... okay, this is more of a goal for next summer, but..... I plan on making my first, very own and no one elses, home purchase by june of next year.

I'm hoping that it will be a gutted post-katrina property in need of some love.....
(and I'm gonna rebuild it greeeen  )

By the end of the summer I want to have

- $30k for land
- Enough money to build a papercrete wigwam/yurt ish thing.
- Enough money to live on for most of the winter
- Still save my standard amt for investing

So, yeah, it might not happen. But it is possible.

If it doesn't happen, I will take it as a sign that I am to spend the winter exploring intentional communities and going to seminars and gatherings and saving more money.

Yurts are so fucking cool.

*Have all credit card debt gone. (And I'm sooo much closer than I was a month ago.
*Get my ROTH IRA fund up to where I want it, and higher.
*Get a stripper pole.
*Get some guns - a pair - sexy ones that are all tan and toned.
*Enjoy my summer for once! Do things! Like hiking and camping and driving around and looking at the pretty area I live in!
*Make strawberry jam - I'm all out.
*Figure out a schedule where I can have weekends off for fun things.
*Find a fuck-buddy - I need to get laaaaaaaaid.
*Do awesomely at my internship.

I put the money order for the rest of my credit card in the mail yesterday.
My ROTH IRA fund is inching up.
I tanned on the roof of my housemate's place of employment and all of me is tanner, including my arms - I even mostly managed to even out the driver's arm phenomena. And my arm muscles are, well, they're getting there.
I picked strawberries and made jam.
I did get outside for the strawberries, and it was awseome - now I have to plan some more stuff.
I'm taking Saturday night off and going out!
Maybe there will be cute ladies there?
I'm pretty much rocking socks at my internship.

Yeah for this summer! It's interesting how much easier it is to get my ass to work at night now that I have the internship during the day. Makes no sense, but hey, it's great anyway.

I might not have everything I want in the summer but I do know what shit I want done. :)

Get a second job all fucking already. I still don't know if I want to bartend or strip again. But I have a feeling it's going to lean more towards bartending.

I am going to go back to school, either fall or winter.

After paying a few bills & vacationing, i'm gonna start saving up some money to fly my ass to South America(either Brazil or Colombia) for some surgery. I plan on having my boobs done again with silicone too. Laser/microdermabrasia on my skin, and teeth bleached(I might do that here though), and MAYBE lipo my hips a bit...not sure. I hate them and love them sometimes. lol.
