I though most of it was pretty funny. :D
Although I do think it was in very bad taste to put up posts where girls were talking about being molested.
It's bad enough to have gone though something like that, but then to come here and look for comfort, ask advice, etc., only to find out that some other website is making fun of your plight.

Meh, SA used to be funny, not so much anymore.
Now if you wanna see something funny, go read this thread on Fark.
Fucking hys-TER-ical.
I'm stuck to my chair. I'm so very scared. Help. (http://forums.fark.com/cgi/fark/comments.pl?IDLink=2018473)

SA is filled to the brim with 14-year-old boys (or men who act like 14-year-old boys) who are posting from their mom's basement, so consider that. Their forums are occasionally funny to read, but I never post there. If you want some laughs, their Comedy Goldmine is usually good for killing a couple of hours.

Here's their General Discussion board:

And here's where they discuss the front page:

No comments about the SW article yet, but I plan to check again later.
Not only that, but the majority of them probably damn near reside in a SC and could only ever HOPE to get with a stripper.

Its a reminder that this isnt our special sacred place although it feels like one mostly.
I thought it was a shitty thing for SA to do, at least as far as posting Kittys pic and some of the posts which I am assuming were in LO. Some of the rest doesnt matter really and Im glad its being laughed at by us too.

I think anyone who clicked on the link to here and bothered to skim through the forums would find that we talk about normal things and carry on like any other mb. They always put over-the-top shit on the front page, but it doesn't mean that all of the members will automatically snap to judgment because of it.
Some of the posts taken out of context were pretty fucking funny. That's why I never post about YI's or VD, lol.

Quick update-I randomly googled Stripper Web because someone mentioned we had a Wiki entry (I couldn't find it though...). I found a response on their forums about the SW part and this guy who has the very last post on the first page works at Cally's club and was talking shit. >:( I couldn't read the rest b/c I'm not a member, is there anyone else that is? Watch out Cally!

Fucking hilarious they want you to pay $10 for a non topic specific forum. And that's just for basic registration.

i love the payforum model. it used to keep a lot of people out (now that its been around so long it's a bit bloated) and 10 bucks gets you into the whole thing which has subforums on all kinds of subjects, which are oftentimes full of people who know their shit. the only extras you pay for are extra convienience/cosmetic. given SA has definitely gone downhill but i still think it is great.
honestly i think i might like it if SW cost money to gain access to the more private forums to keep us a little more secluded from prying eyes.

haha I think of the quoted material SW is the prettiest. And I think callys black circles pale in comparison to the images he used to cover up Paris' ta-tas... I mean really now...

True that!! le sigh...

Well, some of it was mildy funny, taken out of context like that. But the interspersed text was worse than lame, and not funny at all. Where's the wit? Where's the irony? I think calling them 1"4 yera old boys" does an injustice to 14 year old boys.
And don't even get me started on their display and mockery of someone's very personal and disturbing story. >:(

Why does anyone remotely care about this? SA isn't remotely the important site it thinks it is (above all 'lesser') and Stripperweb isn't remotely the site it seems to think it is (beyond reproach). Look, if you're gonna post about a customer cumming blood, or some weirdo pestering you for stinky feet that shit will wind up elsewhere. It's the way o' the world.
Calm down. Who cares about some comedy website. Chris Rock lambastes you WAY more ferociously, Strippers.

I really want my photo off that site dose anyone know how i can go about doing that?
Or is it just not possible?Anyone know a really sharp copyright lawyer with a soft spot for strippers? It's an arguable legal issue, but the massive extent of the copying from here to there may be a copyright violation. Copyright attaches to everything we write here. The concept of "fair use" allows quotes from copyrighted material, especially when accompanied by commentary about the quotes, but a legal argument could be made that the amount of duplication and totality of post reproduction in that piece is beyond fair use. The piece may be exempt because it's making fun of our posts, but I dunno, that's arguable. I think a more accurate description is that it's comedy built upon the SW material -- which constitutes the bulk of the piece. In other words, hey, you wanna be funny on your site with our material? You gotta pay for it, bubby, just like you hafta pay for my companionship. (We write for frickin' StrippaWeb, darlin, not you!) I suspect a really sharp lawyer could support allegations of copyright violation on a number of points, especially with respect to the photos. At least to the point where he/she could write a really nasty looking letter to the site's owner and ISP host. (On the other hand, the danger of starting that kind of legalistic nitpicking is that it could come back to haunt us here.) Perhaps a relatively kind but firm letter asking merely for the copyrighted photos to be removed, not the text, would be met with cooperation.
Just a layman's brainstorming. I really hate to involve lawyers because any time you need one it's going to cost you lots of time, money and grief, while mainly benefiting the lawyers themselves. You might start with a simple personal appeal to the site to please edit your pics out of the posts in question.

They (people in general) say the same thing about me when they don't understand the concept of what we do.

That's a ridiculous way to think IMO. Features bring customers to the club. More customers=more money. They don't just save it for the feature. If you're good at your hustling skills, you can totally bank working with a feature.
Hell, Cally kept guys at my rotten club the other night. All stinking 10 of them, lol! Those girls should have been thankful for the extra money they made.

Yeah, I used to love working when there was a feature, because even if she only brought in 10 guys, that's 10 more guys that I could probably get at least some money off of.
I've actually had a girl not know I was walking down the stairs behind her on my way to do a show, and she was bitching that I was taking up too much stage time. I just smiled and kept walking, but honestly, I don't [I]ask[I] to go on stage 3 or 4 times a night at 20 minutes a pop. That's just how it works. I don't make the rules, I just play by them.

i've always likened a "feature" (or something similar) like a "loss-leader" is in retail. now i'm assuming features are paid some appearance fee plus their own earnings for showing up and drawing for the sc in question.
a loss-leader is the same thing. something really desireable by the public is put on sale (sometimes even at a loss for the retailer) to draw in the shopping traffic. e.g. $1 gadget that normally retails for $20
"foot traffic" is the name of the game. you aren't going to sell (goods or services) if the shopper ain't even there. it's why wal-mart expanded into food/super-markets/drugstore/etc. more often people come in, the more likely they're gonna buy something. same thing in a sc.
just thought the parallels were interesting. i always like making parallels in this forum. i really see the dancing/selling as a very pure form of salesmanship. it's just very interesting to me.
ok, i'll be quiet now. :-[
