I think y'all might want to pm eachother the specific details instead of posting them on here... You might get some uninvited company, if you know what I mean.

Sounds like a plan. I couldn't think of a better place to meet. Its very non-crowded over on that side of the mall. I'll be there. I live right by SC so if anyone is driving from far away and wants to meet up earlier I'll be around. I'm in the process of moving and I'm basically living out of a storage unit or I'd invite y'all over for drinks :(

I'd suggest the Gypsy Den at the Lab for munchies though. Native Foods on the Camp side is good but I'm not sure everyone would like only vegan food. I haven't tried the Japanese or Cuban place there since they were on the $$ side. Embyr have you tried those yet?

... how long are you car-less for, bella? (i read your thread quickly... BMTRouble-ew's, i tell ya..) this may sound odd, but... if you need transportation for a few days, i have a car that just sits while i ride. (although i dunno quite how you'd get it)... but you have your head on your shoulders, so if you need it...

Man, now I know who to bug for transport when I come back to Cali. ;)

^^^ Awesome, 'cause my car STILL has that fucking swipe on it from when I went to get you from the airport last summer. *sigh* Hey, when are you coming back for a visit, anyway? I know you're getting married and all but I wanna set you up with my friend. You're perfect for each other. :D

I'm so glad the four blondes could get together. this was awesome! really fun & intimate. that food was damn good, too. ;D even with my weird-ass requests. everyone make it back onto the freeway ok? i'd actually never done freeways before but i decided to give it a try. it's cold @ 80 in the carpool lane after a while.... brrrrr!!!! :O well, we should definitely do this again soon. i'm only working weekends now so if anyone wants to get together some night, or do an amateur night, or something else random, just shoot me a pm...

p.s. we made a hot crew. i think we looked like a misplaced touring women's punk vocal group. ;)

It's a very interesting thing meeting people off the internet, but I didn't once feel uncomfortable with you ladies. I had fun and feel like it was definitely a day well spent, although that is the most walking I've done in a long time! :D
It was really cool putting faces to names, and I would totally hang out with any of you again anytime! Same goes on my end with the PMs.

ha ha. Alexa, you might actually LIKE the way I baby sit. Last time I dyed the girl's hair pink and started a cult based on the holy Chalk God. And I should be back for Christmas! Hook me up, Yek!

It was absolutely lovely meeting you dolls the other day. I'm totally down again to meet up sometime. I've never just met anyone off a message board before but it was totally cool. Hopefully by next time I won't be such a newb.

I finally got all of the moving crap taken care of and was without internet for most of this week. I'm officially a helLA resident. Btw, which Silver Reign was the one we were discussing for a bit? SCL shows a downtown one and a west LA one. I'm totally unfamiliar with where they are. I need to learn my damn LA geography.

Gretchen, I just auditioned for/got hired at Fantasy Castle in Signal Hill.... which is POIFect because they don't require a schedule. So I can do a few nights there and still remain a day girl @ the E on weekends. Silver Reign is in No. Ho. I know the DJ ... he's HOT and super-cool and used to work at sugarwalls. steve. adorable. i wish i could have him.... ahhh..... did you ever try out at imperial???

Gretchen

Ended up forgetting the Imperial plan because I ended up moving way sooner than I planned. I thought I'd be stuck here until July sometime but a friend offered me a place for a few months near Culver City earlier this week. I'd rather not make the drive. As soon as I get unpacked and find where the eff my clothes went I'll try either Cabaret or Silver Reign.

I'm totally in the dark about LA clubs but I'm just looking for some place to get more experience right now. I'll find my poifect club later lol! LA rent is going to kill me unless I become a better hustler :(. Glad you found a non-schedule nazi club though!

Man, I wish I remembered what the place was Yek told me the good horchata was at. I'm going through withdrawals.

It was Cactus Taqueria on Vine, just south of Santa Monica, in Hollywood. Delicious homemade horchata for a dollar, and ohhh the carne asada tacos (which are also a dollar).

And we were talking about the Silver Reign in West L.A., on Mississippi Blvd.
