Okay...

So... um... do you have to save up for another car again or is the guy you bought the faulty car (your third one) giving you another one (and you just make up the dollar difference between the two)?

What will happen to the third now needing repairs car? Will you repair it or is it going to be trashed?

Did you get the third car checked by an auto mechanic and take it for a test drive before-hand?

Buying a new car. He won't cover it. Yes it was checked and it passed but after the accident it was checked again and considered faulty before the accident and the cause of the accident. It won't be repaired, it's being sold for parts/

Dude, just because I'm on my 3rd car DOESN'T mean I'm a bad driver.. srsly....

NONE of the problems were considered my fault by police.

Sorry, that came out harsher than I meant. It was not supposed to be accusatory but more 'woe is me'.

hmm, maybe an outrageous color to let people know you're there and give you a wide berth? kinda like "daytime-running" headlights.

psst, get the anti-tiki. ;)

it's all because you dismissed my idea of the motorcycle. ;D

i actually feel safer on a bike. weird, huh? loud pipes can alert people. plus you can split lanes, save time, save gas. i know it's totally impractical, but maybe someone up there wants you to wear ass-chaps with fringes. }:D

If the faults were even in part related to the accident shouldn't the dealer be liable for selling you a lemon? Isn't there something you can do ? Do you get the money for the parts or is the dealer going to sell the parts on your behalf .. then you make up the difference in price with the new car?

Just wondering if you have to save up from ground zero again?

SERIOUSLY!! I don't know how frivolous you Aussies are with your lawsuits, but I know in the states people would be ALLLL over this! >:(

No way you should have to pay for a death-trap car! WTF

Apparently only the tow truck driver could prove it was faulty because he fixed it before he towed it so he could get it on the truck.

So yes, now I have to save up from scratch....

And I woke up this morning to Michael's father outside my window telling his sister I was a complete failure.

And I woke up this morning to Michael's father outside my window telling his sister I was a complete failure.ah, isn't that sweet? bleah. >:(

don't let him get you down. parents always think "whoever" isn't good enough for their kids.

you're running into some bad luck and they get to judge you on that? then you get to judge them on their asinine statements/opinions. eff 'em in their ears.

like i sorta said in another thread: "you pick your mate/lover. but family gets shoved in your face." :D michael loves you, he's the important one to you and you're the important one to him. period. ;)

Oh he loves me for loving his son... that's not it. It's the fact I destroyed a car in a day because apparently, both brakes and accelerator can lock up.

afterall, you probably designed and assembled the car just to have them fail at that moment in time for some sinister world domination plot. just remember us 'little folk' when you claim your rightful spot as "grand poobaha".

are they looking into "senior care" for the man? }:D

Heehee, they should. Once the man retires, Michael inherits his multi-million dollar business. :o~~!

I TOTALLY did intend to do that, you psychic woman! I mean, I thought that if I go smoosh, people would pity me and give me all their money... then I'd be filthy rich.

Damnit. I wanted that to be MY plan! You stole it bitch ;) :P

Now I'm going to go steal your "on" button tattoo..

At least you can see the humour in the situation :)
