Earlier this week some guy asked me if I have ever considered a breast enhancement.

Ooooh, oooh. I remember a custy at the SR in Vegas asking me the same thing, and telling me I should go ahead and get one. Bleh, my boobers are perfect, and not even small. That was his taste, that's fine. But the comment was aimed to hurt me. Fortunately it didn't, considering I'd forgotten about it until now..

To make my night worse, some random customer who had not seen me onstage yet, approached me. He took a moment to size me up and said: You're not a dancer, right? I stared at him blankly, fully taking in the sheer ignorance behind his question. No, dumbass. I frequent every bar i go to in lingerie. Of course I'm not a dancer!!! He wanted to know where the bathroom was.

Yeah, I've gotten this one before, too. "Do you work here?" Nope! I just like to wear school girl outfits that show my ass and a thong and seven-inch heels at a strip club for fun. I'm a FREAK like that!

On Monday night I got told I have thighs like a rugby player by a group of guys who all sat there with smirks on their faces. From the tone of their voices and the looks on their faces, I think they meant it as an insult.

I was told the other night that I have the ass of a ten year old boy... err... But just last night I was complimented on my "feminine" ass. Guys just project their personal tastes on us. It doesn't bother me when a guy says that something about me is bad, cause the next day I'll get a compliment for the same reason.

I once had a guy guess I was 25 when I was 24 and I got slightly insulted because I'm always thought to be 19 or 20. It's crazy how my mind works sometimes.

Guys always compliment a dancer on being so beautiful, having a great ass, and so on, then you get one insult and it hurts, I agree. I think it's because the compliments are brushed off and thought to be insincere, but you know if they're taking the time to insult you they must mean it. Obviously they're not trying to get in your pants if they're telling you you're ugly.

I can totally relate to this! A lot of guys say things like, "You look like a teenager!" but one motherfucker told me I looked over 30 and "my time was running out" one night. When I told him I was 22, he asked me what I had been doing to myself and mentioned METH. What the hell? I have never touched meth. I was so offended I had him kicked out of the club.

This more falls under the stupid catagory...after I offered a $20 lap dance.
"I'll buy a dance if you promise me I can fuck you in the ass." /:O
"I'm sorry...but $20 isn't gonna get you that far," then I left.

This guy was also very softspoken and walked with a cane...

Last night, I approach this huge muscle man type guy, sitting out in the VIP area on the floor. I asked him how's it going...blah blah...he mumbles something at me. I respond with "pardon?", and he goes very loudly, "LEAVE!".

Ouch! (at least the OP was offered $20 to leave)

I had to refrain from replying with a equally scathing remark, but I didn't want to ruin my mood. Man, though, that comment stung all night.

Sounds like a plastic surgeon fishing for business...I read the same story in a "Cosmopolitan magazine Worst Dates Ever" feature...But the surgeon pulled that shit on a blind date with a girl...She got up and left!

Yeah, like those guys would have the guts to dance naked in front of strangers ::) Dumbasses.

I know.. its like.. which one of us gets paid to be seen naked and which one of us has to pay people to get naked for them.. lets put this in perspective.

a not very huge guy did that to me during season, only he said "go" instead of "leave".

it made me feel pretty crappy for a second, but really, guys can be a lot more hurtful than that. here was some asshole paying to be in a strip club just to be a total douchebag, and not in the somewhat subtle way some of them are.

shit, i'd only gone up to him because he'd been looking at me.

since i like to make up stories about people, i decided he'd been dragged there by a friend who was getting dances or jerking it in the bathroom or something. he didn't want to be such a den of depravity filled with evil temptresses. i had caught his eye, therefore i was sent by the devil so he would wake up stuck to his sheets. evil. evil. evil.

Nothing TOO bad so far, no direct insults but...

this one skinny middleaged white dude is sitting alone in the corner kinda fidgeting. We get to talking, and he has his hand all over my leg (ugh). Then he says something about how I'm so sexy despite the fact that I have unshaven legs. WTF?! My legs were like velvet, and i always shave right before i go to work. So, I kind of ignore it, and then he starts up about something worse.

Him: There's all these naked chicks around, how come I havent got anny PUSSY yet?!?!
Me: Umm, you're in a strip club... in San Diego. That's not gonna happen.
Him: Yeah, well some guys get pussy in strip clubs! It's possible!
Me: Well then maybe there's something wrong with you.

And then I got up and left him alone. A fellow dancer snagged him later and ran into the dressing room freaking out and applying x number of babywipes. Mind you, she's no prude.

That's the worst so far I guess.

yeah. I can totally see what you two are saying.. I guess its that I dont want to hear about children being mentioned in strip clubs, its a sexual environment (exceptions being people talking about there children in an in depth conversation) but yeah.. it creeps me out when people refer to any part of a nearly naked or naked adult as reminding them of children.. perhaps I've just had an abnormal number of 'bad experiences' with men in my life. who knows..

I also had a very rude ex who perfected a silent comeback to any comment he percieved as "stupid" (which was, gosh, lots.) He would make a tiny, thin-lipped smile, nod slightly and turn his attention away from the person he had decided was "stupid".....It was pretty funny.

I see a lot of dancers doing this to not only guys that insult them, but guys that won't tip decently or buy dances. My friend "Revolution"(a fellow SWer) and I prefer to call this the "snobby stripper syndrome" LOL :D

Friday night a table of 4 guys and 2 women called me over. One of the women wanted me to dance for her fiance. As a start my dance the women and one of the other guys start throwing out directions of how nasty I should be for him. I ignored them and continued to do dance my way.

When it was apparent that I know what I'm doing, the asshole conceded his direction with "You're the ho-bag."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BTW, as gross as it sounds, "ass like a 10 year old boy" is a compliment. If you ever watched the 90's show Married with Children, the husband in the show used to go to the strip clubs and describe the hot dancers that way.

Okay, where do I start? I've got six years of pent-up frustration at this point! lol

Was heading to talk to this one guy (I tend to try and talk to them first instead of "wanna dance" them) and I'm still 6 feet away or so whe he sees me and does this waving the hands in front of him to ward me off or something....dunno why it insulted me, other than the fact that he could've just said "no"

Went up to an Indian guy to ask him if he'd like to do the special and he put his hand on either side of my waist and said "You're too wide" to which I replied "You're too rude" and walked away. (I'm 5'4" and was about 118 at the time, btw.)

On the topic of the kid-lovers, had this one guy that I sat down with in my lil schoolgirl outfit to talk to. I totally ham it up when I wear this outfit- pigtails, ruffly socks, the works- and he really seemed into it. We're chatting for a bit and he comments about how young I look (I was 19 at the time) and I told him how old I was. Here's what happened next:
Him: "Oh, I like them younger."
Me (misunderstanding a bit): "Don't you worry about getting in trouble by playing with 16 and 17 year olds?"
Him: "No, I like 'em younger- 11 or 12!"
I had to excuse myself to go throw up a little in my mouth. (This is especially heinous for me because I had two family members who actually had to deal with something like that.)

I once was getting ready to dance for this one kid and had taken my top off when he looked at my boobs and asked "Those are A cup, right?" (I'm a 34C, thank you.) My response? "You really need to stop watching that big-tittied porn, baby."

I CONSTANTLY get the "Are those real?" comments, to which I now reply (Thank you, DancerNTampa, for this one!) "Nope, they're just a figment of your imagination" or "Nope- Kmart Blue Light Special!"

I once had a guy tip me a 20 on stage (this, at a club to where getting 10-15 bucks in a stage set was really good) so I went over to him and his buddies first after I got down. He showed me a hundred dollar bill and said "Now that I've got your attention, I'm gonna give you this for fucking my boy over here." I just looked at him in disbelief and said "Sorry, I don't do that" and walked away.

The funniest convo (not that insulting, but VERY baffling) was this one guy that I was dancing for:
Him: So, how much to fuck?
Me: Sorry, but we don't do that here.
Him: Why not?
Me: Cuz it's against the law
....pause...
Him: No, really, why not? :O :O :O
Me: Uh, I don't know about where you're from, but around here, we kinda try to not get fired.

I had this one guy, who was ALLL over me, saying he just wanted me alone for 10 minutes, just 10 minutes, so I told him he wanted XYZ room. (I worked at a club where different suites meant different fees and time schedules.) So, I take him back there, tell him to sit back, relax, and get comfortable and that I'd be right back. So, I go up front to tell the bouncer which room I'm in and head back. I've been gone, at most, 90 seconds, and apparently, in that time frame, the man's gotten down to just his socks and shoes.
Me: Uh, honey, I said to relax, but you can't take all your clothes off.
Him: Why not? I came here to fuck!
Me: Well, all I do is dance here.
Him: Well then, why are you guys even open? That's all strip clubs are for- to fuck!
He proceeded to get dressed and leave, but I was so shocked/dumbfounded/insulted, I didn't know WHAT to say to that.

And, for my final act lol...
Had this young kid and his girl come in, and he motions me over after I get off stage.
Him: Well, I figure since you're a dancer, you'd know about this better than me...
Me (thinking he wants to know about what it takes to be a dancer, etc, etc): Okay, what do you want to know?
Him: Where can we get some good beans? (Still don't know what kind of drug that is)
Me: Uh, I don't do them.
Him: Ah, come on. You're a stripper- you all do shit.
I just walked away at that point. He came up to me later as they were about to leave and said "I'm sorry. It's not like I was insulting you for not usin' or nothin'"
Uh, asshat, that's EXACTLY what you were doing! I've never done anything stronger than codine...fuck off.

Beans??? Alluvasudden Kurt Cobain's high pitched tape-sped-up-voice comes at me, lol. "Beans beans beans! Daddy ate some beans! And he was happy, happy, happy, cuz he aaaaate some...beans!" Except I'm sure it was about actual beans.

A few nights ago while I was lap dancing a guy, he asked me: "Do you guys have a pharmacist in here?" and I swear to God I had no idea what he really meant! I said no very confusedly, but then I thought maybe he meant a pharmacy in the area or something. I've had people start talking about weirder things during lap dances, so I was about to tell him that I don't know the area very well and have no idea where there might be a pharmacy, but then it clicked! I was like: "Ohhh, you mean drugs?" and he nodded, so I said NO!

I haven't been dancing long enough to get any crap about my body, etc....At least, none that I heard. I really couldn't care less though...I'm not there to be reassured that I'm good-looking, I'm there to make teh moneys. :)

I do have to say it's hard when some guy starts blabbing about some other girl...

The first day I started at a club, this guy, (totally drunk, red in the face), starts commenting about her stretch-marks.

I just kind of nod and don't look at him, (we're both sitting at the tipping seats next to the stage), watching the girl he's talking about to learn new moves.

Finally, I just got up and left. I said nothing at all, just left.

I really don't get why guys say this crap. They must want to stir up trouble or see some kind of woman-on-woman action in the form of a hair-pulling fight...dunno. :D

It is hard to not tell the girl after. The first time it happened, I did, but I didn't tell her specifically because I thought that was pointless. She kept asking me and I just said, 'he's a total idiot, yadayada.'

PS: Can I just ask- These guys who think stripclubs are for fucking....Who the hell have they been talking to?

The only sexual stuff I've heard of going on, (I have been through several clubs), are hand-jobs and groping. Maybe I'm just wholesome here.

It's like some urban-legend or somewhat. Either that, or they think a girl is really stupid enough to believe, 'oh, yea, that's what they DO in stripclubs!' :/

I hate conflict, to be blunt.

I told that girl because she asked what he and I talked about, and it was my first day dancing...I made lots'o'mistakes. It happens.

I don't sit and listen when a customer wants to talk about another girl's flaws. That's not to say it doesn't piss me off that the guy is saying stuff like that...And I kinda grind my teeth when I see the girl he was just commenting on being 'whatever' giving him a LP or whatever. Feels like he's being encouraged...

As to sexual-stuff, I guess it's just not done as much around here in-club.

You'll be just fine, you're new after all. But Britt is definitaly right... Don't ever spread gossip around a strip club, even if you think you're just trying to be honest. Its better to bite your tongue. If someone says something bad about another girl, try to pretend you never heard it.

michele_b

I am a little different, I like to hear the truth, If a customer is saying bad things about me around another girl, I would appreciate her telling me so I wouldn't go up to the jack ass and so that other girls also know that he is a jack ass, anyways I wanted to put how I feel on that but not wanting to get off topic myself on this post.

I have gotten lucky with not having really any bad experiences after some of these I have read. I have heard numerous times from guys asking why do I dance, i'm too good for it, i'm wasting my life, blah blah, I just ignore it. I do remember I was dancing at a nude club one night and there was this group of guys sitting at the tip rail, they had a lot of 2 dollar bills out so I went up to them. One of the guys looked at me and said you need to learn to shave (pointing at my cooch) I had just shaved and I will admit I was in a hurry, I missed a couple hairs but not that noticeable, then he was like maybe you should have someone in your family show you how to shave. I went :finger: and said fuck your 2 dollar bill tips and walked away, I didn't make anything on stage because they were the only customers, but screw the assholes they came shove it.

I came back to a table with these two guys after my stage set/freshening up in the dressing room. One of the guys says, "What happened to your face?!" .. I just had no clue what he was talking about. Then the other one started saying that my lips looked like they were laquered. I had reapplied lip gloss, but it's the same that I had been using all night, and I ran to the bathroom and it looked the same, and just fine to me.... But let me tell you a bitch was drunk and self-conscious about her make-up for the rest of the night! :( I think they could have said it in a nicer way. Or not at all.. ::)

Oh, and this wasn't about me, but a customer asked me to sit with him, and he was telling me about how he'd been in VIP with another dancer. Just making conversation, and not really caring, I asked if he had enjoyed his lapdance with her. He said no he didn't, that she really needed to douche. Ew. That's fucking gross and horrific!!
