View Full Version : Reasons Against Female Customers.
I didnt read the responses, but I have my own...
female customers are hit or miss. Either they try to be overly friendly ( which I would prefer but thats annoying too) ORRRR they act like little bitches and point out every flaw or just act like they are too good to be there. I cant stand that shit.
Thank God my club now only allows men.

It's very refreshing to see so many level-headed, reasonable responses from most everyone here (the haters can go fcuk themselves - we don't want dances from them anyways). Most dancers (in the clubs & on board here) realize that there are good & bad in all groups, and do acknowledge that there are some very good female customers out there (yay us lesbians!)......but there are so few of us, and we are so overshadowed by the awful ones that we often get swept up in the generalizations. That's OK. We're growing a thick skin!
We'll keep coming to the clubs, searching for those special dancers that always make our adventure worthwhile. Thanx again. :):)

petty fucked up that some of you don't like female customers. I'll have you know, when I go to a strip club, those dudes I'm with didn't earn that money- I gave it to 'em so we could all have a good time. I wouldn't knock chicks, 'cos quite frankly, the loser dudes they walk in there with are way to cheap to give you the money that the girl's know you earned doing what you do.
give me a break.
oh and no matter how pretty a female customer might be, the guys aren't there to see them and they know who to really pay attention to.

I stand by a statement made my Bridgette that we will never make as much money off a woman as we do off the men. Most girls think we can pay our bills with "WOOHOOs".
By the way this is stripperweb, a site dedicated to strippers. While customers are welcome and we do enjoy their input, we are entitled to rant about things that annoy us at work.

Another thing to muddle over is that the "no female customers" idea wouldn't work if there were a higher % of female customers. That would be like saying "so many male customers are grabby and rude and don't tip, let's get rid of male customers!"... it cant work since they're the majority.
Unless we're talking about a club that caters to lesbians, YES get rid of the women even if they're the majority. Some nights I work, the club is half full of women and it SUUUUUUCCCKKKSSS AAAASSSSSSSSSSS. Stripclubs are mostly a straight male thing. Women customers account for a tiny percentage of overall stripclub spending, even if they outnumber the men. We don't need them, and IMO the benefit of losing them would outweigh the little money they spend as a group.
As for you guys talking about IDing sexuality. However it was done in clubs I worked years ago, it worked. I'm quite sure it wasn't perfect, but it was a hell of a lot better than it is now.
There will always be "what ifs" and endless possibilities. The bottom line is that MOST women who go to stripclubs are bad for the overall spending vibe at best, and terrible customers at worst. Best to just get rid of them, or get SUPER strict about which ones are allowed in. Like we've said on here many times before, we ALL judge customers based on certain criteria and past experiences. Why is it ok for us to judge men this way, but not women?

I'm still just wondering what 'obvious groups of lesbians' look like, is all. I mean, do they all have mullets? Or wear chaps? What constitutes 'obvious lesbian'? 'cause I don't know.

I dunno I can spot lesbians. You can tell when a woman is sitting there actually appreciating and having a perve as opposed to stupid bitches sitting there and criticising and whispering or worse still loudly talking shit about the girl on the stage.
I am in total agreement with Bridgette. I would rather women only be allowed in at least in small numbers. Certainly not groups of heaps of women.
Last weekend we had heaps of women in the club. Dancers were not approaching the girls or the guys who were with them for dances.
Also I would also argue that the whole strip club and the way it is run is set up to provide entertainment to the heterosexual male. Some things about strip clubs just dont appeal to women at all. I have seen many female cystomers look in horror as girls spread their legs open or bend over backwards revealing their pussy's to the guys. Women generally are just not so into this in your face sexuality. Not saying no women like it but they are set up with men's interests in mind.

Some lesbians are obvious... BUT! Many are not. I hit up gay bars a lot, and most recently an actual lesbian bar. There were all types there. And beyond that, especially in areas such as mine, I've seen a lot of women who "look" like butchy dykes who turned out to be very hetero.
^I feel you on that one, Paige. The only way I can tell FOR SURE is if I actually see her w/ their SO and watch how they act together. Or when they hit on me...;D I think most people can tell when someone is hitting on them. Even then...they just may be bi.

Ok Bridgette..you win! ;D Unfortunately, though, we just don't get lesbian groups that much at all at my club. Or any of the other clubs that I've worked at. I don't know why. Maybe it's just Texas. :-\

I usually can't stand female customers. Not that I haven't had a few enjoyable ones that were good for tipping and a few dances, but I don't envision a woman taking me to VIP for any amount of time.
Also: ever been to a male strip club? All the stories you hear about the drunk, obnoxious, loud, gropey women are true.

Well they have to be walking somewhere and not in the club before in your little world people allow them into the club. Perhaps I should've said 'at the entrance of the club wanting in'. And my point was not lesbians are butch... they're not 'obvious'.
I agree with Lilith. I couldn't think too highly of a club that had a policy of only allowing women who fit the lesbian stereotype in.

I would like to add that if the women customers that are coming into the strip club have attitudes then they need to stay home. Your attitude does rub off on others around you. The ladies that work at these clubs are doing just that, working. They don't need some bitchy woman to ruin the atmosphere.
Having said that , I myself enjoy going to the strip club with my bf. We have a good time and we tip well. We have been lucky, not to so to a club with negative female customers. The dancers want to have a good time and make some good money. If the women customers that come in can't do that and enjoy themselves as well, then they need to stay home.
I have not started dancing yet, but ladies, do you think it is hard to work when you see a woman customer who obviously looks like she is not having a good time and is uncomfortable?

I see this as not my problem. Here in Texas most female customers do not spend as much as male customers this is why I believe they should be charged a higher entrance fee. At least that way the club can re-coup some of the money they lose through female customers who come in and waste good space that could be used by better paying customers. I rarely approach female customers as there is less money to be made from them. I make better money off older males so I go up to them first as I try to make the most money in the least amount of time. I have nothing personally against female customers here in the U.S.A. But speaking from a marketing and sales standpoint they more often than not do not pay off. Me going up to a female may very rarely=20-40 dollars. Me going up to an older male =80 to 200. After all I am here to make money.

Not really, I just make fun of them. The other night one was sitting at my podium with a disgusted look on her face as the other girls and I were messing around (simulated lesbian acts). She was next to her boyfriend and had a foul look on her face so I shouted for everyone to hear "Look she's loving it!".

We have tons of girls that come into Platinum and it can get kind of annoying...but usually they are not too negative, and the girls that sit at the tip rail almost always tip (except for this one girl that just glared at me and held onto that 2 dollar bill for dear life, apparantly I wasnt deserving lol). The only woman that ever really effected me at work was there with her bf. She was heavy and not too pretty and he just stared us all down all night and made funny licky faces at me and she looked like she wanted to curl up and die. I honestly felt bad for her because you could tell he dragged her there and she just looked pretty miserable watching prettier, skinnier girls dance for him. I wouldnt even go near them on the stage, but he didnt tip a single dollar to anyone all night anyway. So I could have done without either of them.
I've met some really cool chicks while I was working too. I always seem to attract the couples (all the cool girls have bf's :( )
I'm actually going to a strip club in mass this saturday with my bf (no 18 + clubs near us so we have to travel) and plan on spending some $$$...but I'm a dancer too. I suppose its kinda like wating on another waitress at a restraunt...they're good customers because they know.

This may be slightly off topic but here I go...
I hung up my shoes a few years ago. About 2 years ago I was sitting at home bored and said ya know what? I have it in me to get all dressed and throw some cash at a few females. I went to the bank got 200 in 1's, got all dressed and drove 30 min to the nearest club to show some love. I fully expected to pay the entry fee, drinks and spend what I had brought.
I got to the door full of confidence, showed my ID and asked what the entry fee was. Their response was I had to be escorted by a male in order to get in! I even asked that he talk to the manager cause I really wanted a beer and to tip the ladies. I did not mention that I had once danced. Needless to say they turned me away at the door. I cried the whole way home. I felt ugly that day.
I then went home and thought about it and looked back at how some wives have come in bars after their husbands starting trouble, or the single ones looking for men. So I get it, but damn it sucks when you truly do want to just hear some loud music and see a fine booty shakin.::)

That sucks, Brandy. :(
Last night there was this mixed group (yeah yeah, I know) that I tried to hustle since there were no customers left. I ask the whole group of three guys and two girls some little happy opening questions, but one half of the group was preoccupied, so that left me with one guy and two bitches ignoring me with angry looks on their faces. So I sit next to the dude and start introducing myself, asking what the occasion is, etc, when one of the bitches says his name. He's like, "what?", and she just sits there giving him pissed looks. Turns out that was his s.o., and I basically said I felt sorry for him and that she shouldn't be in the club if she doesn't want strippers talking to them. I told him to come back alone and I'd show him a good time. ;D
That was my first actually rude female customer experience, aside from the chicks who wouldn't tip at stage because they were females... ::)

I agree that's a drag, Brandy, but I understand why the rule is there. See, even though the majority of female customers grate on me, there ARE good ones, and frankly, sometimes *I* want to be one of them. When I'm traveling, need some fresh move ideas, and especially when looking for a new club to WORK at, I want to be able to check out other clubs - this is part of why I oppose a blanket, no-exceptions banishment of ALL women. It's tough though. I had a lot of dirty looks from girlfriends who'd been dragged there for the 4th of July just last night.
(As an aside, The Sex Kitten, that anecdote sums up why I get uncomfortable approaching ANY group, period. There's almost always some dynamic like that going on, it seems.)

Female customers? *Bah!* Te're either misrable or creepy about it. Also. my club allows any girl who walks in the door to get up on the stage and to a three set song..Had it happen last saturday nite, it ruined the whole night for every girl there. But oh the manager loved it.

We dancers would survive JUST FINE if we were not allowed in the clubs anymore, for the sake of keeping out obnoxious female customers. Trust me. We did before and none of us complained. Yall are just spoiled now (or so you *think* it's better to allow girls in), but believe me, the clubs are better for MAKING MONEY (which IS what we're in business for, right??) without the women.
Lilithm, I can't believe you're still trying to say you can't tell a bunch of butchy chics trying to get into a stripclub would be lesbians. If they're standing at the door trying to get in, DUH!!! Normally girls aren't a prob at my club, they tip well and are chill. But for some reason we do get ones who come in on Fri or Sat which are not am. night and want to get up on stage just to make some quick cash with no intentions of wanting a job. That only takes money away from the girls, so I started telling them they couldn't do that, come on am. night if that's what you want to do, then I decided we were gonna start making money off girls like that. So I told our manager they should be allowed to get on stage w/ a girl of their choice but any tips they made went to the dancer...since they were only there for fun.

I've never met a female custy willing to spend money! Husbands will sometimes buy them a dance, but usually just one. And they are either sitting there looking pissed off with their boyfriend, or if they come in a group, buy one drink and barely tip. I don't get it - when I visit clubs, I sit right at the stage and throw money, and help my guy find the right girl for a dance. I've met a lot of cool chicks, but usually in the vip room./:O

A good-looking fashionable yuppie couple booked me for a private dance via a hostess in a club I used to work at. So I hadn't talked to them before I danced for them. Anywhoo I explained the rules and about two seconds into the dance I knew this was going to be a very short 15 minutes.
As soon as I sat in the coked-up nympho Barbie's lap she pulled down her strapless dress so her boobs were hanging out, placed her bf's hands on her boobs and pretty much started molesting me. I pretty much just sighed and looked at the Controller and started pulling myself backwards so I was on the floor. The "Controller" then started laughing and perving at us, instead of telling her to pull her dress up. Then the fun really began, when she hiked up her dress (now a belt) and started pulling my head towards her very bald vagina. I screamed like a bitch, laughing at the situation, thinking 'haha what a crazy bitch, oh well the controller will come and get her out of here, quick $100 that was'.
Oh no. He's too busy laughing/perving.
Meanwhile she has me pined on the floor trying to pash me and otherwise grope me. I stopped laughing at this point and started getting angry, because it was the first time I didn't feel in control of a situation while I was stripping. I finally got out from under her and stood up and started screaming at them to get the fuck out. And then I started screaming at the controller, who was of course, still laughing and couldn't understand why I had a problem with her doing what she did because she was "hot". Had a guy done that in this club, I guarantee he would have been found unconscious in the back alley.
On the other hand the best $$$ night I've ever had was when a drunk, lonley hooker started throwing hundred dollar notes at me on stage, and then booked me all night because she wanted to hang out with a girl who wouldnt judge her, and was sick of men.
Goes to show you can't judge a book by its cover. I do think I have delt with way more negatives then positives from female customers though.

I used to work for a club that would charge the women more than the men. So if it was $20 to get in, ladies would have to pay $30 or $35 dollars. It really cut down on the women who were just coming to hit up guys for drinks (or more!) Unfortunately that didn't last. One of the promoters even had a ladies night where women got in FREE. I only worked on ladies night one time. It was awful. About 75% of the club was made up of women who weren't tipping. I've left that club but I heard from some of of the dancers that they quit working that night because they never made any money. It also ruined the club's reputation a bit. Now it's slowly becoming known as the place to pick up prostitutes on Friday nights (the patrons not the dancers). No surprise there.

there was a group of 3 females and i male came into the club i work at on fri night. one looked like a guy, janet reno look-a-like, high school gym teacher. i was sitting at a table with guys right next to them and made a few comments. i was on stage and she came up with the male and she goes "when you're dancing do you ever poke yourself with your heels" i said no i save that for the customers" i threw her dollar back at her. i'm not desperate for money, especially her $1. right after that, i left and went to another club, it was really slow and there were a lot of female customers that night.

I have to say, I really, REALLY hope female customers aren't completely banned from any of the clubs I visit. I'm heterosexual, but that doesn't mean I can't love looking at beautiful women! I take my boyfriend with me occasionally, but when we go, we're not looking to swing or be creepy, we're just out to enjoy the view, spend some money, and have a good time.
I understand that sometimes a chick will divert attention from dancers, and I hate it. I'm a decent looking girl (I'd give myself a 7, on good days), and I come in well dressed, but I don't come in looking for attention. I just think women are beautiful! The conversation is always grand, too. Dancers have, in my experience, a GREAT sense of humor. I treat a lady with the respect I'd expect, and if I'm in a club, the only reason I'd have a bill smaller than a 50 is because I got change from paying my cover. I figure I'm doing most things right?
And for the ladies that are good customers too, if you come to a club, have a good line ready for when you get hit on. A curt "I'm here for the dancers, not for you" usually does the job. Be for a woman, and about a woman.

The ban isn't going to happen soon. The club owners care about selling drinks, that's where they make their money. If drunk annoying groups of females buy drinks and get the male customers riled up to buy more drinks, management/owners are happy. No one cares that it screws up business for the dancers.
However, I do enjoy the clubs still and would be sad not to be able to go. I do think groups of obviously straight girls shouldn't be let in. And if they are and start to act like assholes, they should be kicked out. But no one is listening....

Katrine, I'll drink to that, dear. Sad, but true. I don't drink much (I'm usually solo, or I drive Clark, so he can drink and relax), but I pay, so I figure it balances out.
And she-hordes are NO fun for anybody. I was at the rail at the Sugar Shack a couple weeks ago and a crowd of girls came in. I assumed they were lost (the SS is both sexes), so I offered to tell them where the guys were, and I was informed that "they wanted to see some titty".
Apparently me telling them "Enjoy it while you can, then, because you're not gonna see much in the mirror" wasn't what they wanted to hear. Ah well, they hauled ass out of there like their feet were on fire and their ass was catching.

Interesting thread!! I'll add my reason "against female customers": If I want more females in the mix, I want more dancers available for lapdances!!
That said, female customers have been more de rigeur in stripclubs the last 5 yrs or so. Still a minority, but no longer a novelty. As many posters have pointed out, they come in several different profiles (lesbians, open minded couples, reluctant drag alongs, etc). There can be good & bad customers across the spectrum. I've noticed that female patrons @ tip rail do seem to be good tippers.

If the clubs did ban female customers from coming into the strip club you can bet that would open the market up for "entrepreneurs". Plus it might help the Burlesque scene out in a huge way because then the girls who are curious about strippers, strip tease and everything can go to a Burlesque show instead of hassling the strippers.
I'm with Bridgette here on this all the way. We all would survive fine if the clubs did ban female patrons and make them GENTLEMEN'S CLUB (read: male gender only). Just like with everything else in life, people adapt.
Alot of clubs in Australia used to be smoking allowed now they are all non smoking and everyone has adapted. The 3am lockout is far from new to QLD and people have once again adapted. We adapt. We change.
Bring on the ban.
If someone wanted to work in a club, then ring up the club and ask to be allowed in to have a tour of the place. If you are female and want to see female strippers, let Burlesque take care of it.
Plus since Burlesque usually involves the performer already being paid. No problems! The Burlesque strippers aren't working for tips and tips only so they don't have to really worry about who is in their audience as long as they get the numbers thru the door to make the venture profitable.
Yes?

I would so not be fine if I weren't allowed to go to strip clubs as a custie! I started out as a customer after all, and I still love going as a customer. Honestly, when I start to feel burnt out my favorite thing to do is take a night off to go with my bf and sit at the tiprail all night tipping the ladies (I don't get as many dances as I used to, but I still do sometimes, but when I'm there I'm glued to the tiprail, tipping all night). Watching them look all hot and maing their money reminds me why I really do love my job...I'd prob. end up fed up and out of work for a few months if I couldn't see the other side every once and a while.

I agree entirely. I started going to SCs with my girlfriends about 4 months ago, way way way before I ever considered it as a possible career. If I hadn't been eased into the club in a no-pressure situation, I never ever would have thought about working in one. So yeah I totally have ulterior motives. Also, I don't know about where you live but burlesque is really not that common in my area. I've only seen it at fetish shows before, never an actual burlesque house. So no, I don't really consider that a viable alternative although I definitely enjoy it when I do see it!
But even as a dancer, I wouldn't give up women. At my club, women pay cover (though less expensive) and get the same price dance as everyone else. I personally love the variety and the fact that I can use different elements of sensual dancing to appeal to women. It challenges me to do more than clap my booty* and I feel way sexier dancing to impress a chick, knowing what I look for in a dancer from her seat.
Nah I see no reason from my experience to ban 'em. And I'd be way bummed and pissed if they did.
*figuratively speaking, since I don't in fact clap my white girl bootay

They're rude, jealous and hurt our money. If a guy likes you and his girl doesn't, you're screwed. When a girl comes in with her boyfriend, he can ONLY get dances from the girl that his gf picked out. BS! Why bring food to the restaurant?? OR sand to the beach??!
