I just went to WalMart and bought Tonalin CLA (Rexall) 1000mg 60 softgells
$12.88 + tax

Has anyone used this brand? How many do I need to take a day? Also these are 100% safflower oil!

That brand works fine.

If you're working out & taking the Tonalin with balanced meals, you can take 3-9 capsules per day. You can increase the doseage over time & if you don't have intestinal problems (some people get the trots if they take the Tonalin on an empty tummy.)

I absolutely recommend Tonalin to anyone trying to lose weight. It's much safer than a lot of the diet drugs on the market.

Tonalin CLA and weight loss

Studies show that TONALIN CLA reduces body fat and weight in four ways:

* By decreasing the amount of fat that is stored after eating

* By increasing the rate of fat breakdown in fat cells

* By increasing the rate of fat metabolism

* By decreasing the number of fat cells

The number of fat cells in your body can never "decrease" only shrink in size. The more overweight someone is, the more fat cells they have developed. This is one of the reasons overweight people can gain easier after losing weight.

That also explains why tiny girls don't gain as easily because they don't have alot of fat cells. I thought that everyone was born with a certain number of fat cells at birth and they grow in age and diet. /:O
