Went back to the sc the other nite, and saw B, Just went with the flow of the club and the music and talked to other girls i know, she got on stage and did her routine, than she came up to me and i put money in her g, she gave me a kiss and said that she will come and see me soon. she ended up on tha other side of the club talking to some guy, and staring at me from the other side of the room, finally she came to say hi,

Dunno but she doesnt seem to be the same towards me. wonder if its because i havnt been back to the club in a while or not?

she did tell me that i looked sexy and used her stripper talk, than she kissed me and said i'll see you next week i hav something for you, and she said i love you!, now um is it usual for girls to say that? because, it really took me by surprise, was she just saying it to get me back the following weekend?:-\

... i think she's trying to keep you on the hook so that you don't stray away. or really, your money.

i hate to be so blunt, but i know i've played with a few custy's hearts, and gained lots of $$ by doing so.

if she wanted something with you, she'd have gone otc with you by now. at least out to breakfast or something.

Yes, they say I love you sometimes, and other more intimate statements, but again, if she really wanted to see you she would just ask to see you outside the club. And yes, it sounds like she her goal here was to get you to come back the following weekend.

Ok just that shes never said that before, so um must be trying to keep me coming back, i didnt buy a dance from her that night and she possibly thinks that i wont keep spending on her, just dont think its fair for her to play with my feelings and say that, i mean shes a really popular dancer at the club and not short of customers, dont think it was fair for her to go using words like that, she hasnt asked to see me outside the club and im pretty sure after all this time she never will.

Jus how can you girls play with peoples feelings, i mean i know fantasy is your profession but is that really fair, to do that??

It's our freakin job. Most people are intelligent enough to to realize that strippers DO NOT WANT THEM. We flirt, we get close, we will say "Love you babe!" and still, the majority realize it's a fantasy. Don't blame strippers for being naive and gullible, that's your problem.

Ok, let's not be stupid. If she said "I love you" in more than a casual "luv ya babe" way, that is obviously skirting a line and most dancers don't do that because it creates a very undesirable customer (if for no other reason). Beyond that - what do you want? An apology for anyone who has ever done their job in an unscrupulous way? Sorry.

I mean, I don't take on responsibility for that, nor am I going to act like I'm guilty by association - and I doubt anyone else here is either. Frankly, I suspect some... how do you say? "embroidery" in this story. However - you came, as a complete stranger, here for advice. You got it. You got honest and real and legitimate and sympathetic and sensitive feedback. That also turned out to be true. From my perspective you are in a poor position to come here and blame us that your feelings got hurt and demand that we justify it to you.

I don't think it can. Even if it does, it won't be true love. For when the money fades, so will be the love. I call it "facilitated love."

Clearly, you have no business being in an SC; you haven't begun to acknowledge that one requires realistic expectations in the unrealistic environment of the SC in order to fully enjoy what dancers have to offer.

I totally agree.

It's kind of our job to make people feel like they are the coolest, smartest, hottest people on the planet that we simply love being around. If I told people that I was pretty much telling them these things so I could make money off of them, I would be a broke stripper. Yeah, there are people that I do enjoy spending time with because they are cool, hot, funny, etc. but those people are in short supply.

This thread has been fun ever since that comment.I couldn't wait to see the kind of replies she wasn't going to get.If a stripper or any girl told me she loved me in that short a period of time in that enviro and I thought she really meant it I'd get freaked out.If any girl, but especally a stripper ITC fell in love with me in that quicky seeing me that little I'd have to assume not everything was screwed in tightly upstairs.I can understand falling lust but love,In that enviro, that quickly w/o even really knowing them?

GirlCrazy,

I think you've got to be pragmatic about this. If B wanted to see you OTC, she would have made it apparent by now. It may be why you said in a earlier post that she was acting differently towards you - no dancer wants a customer that gets obsessive about her.

There's no point in keeping on hoping that she'll see you OTC, when it's very unlikely to happen. If you keep on hoping and trying, all you'll end up doing is pursuing an unobtainable dream (and probably getting stressed out at the same time).

Look, if you enjoy her company ITC, and you enjoy her dancing for you, just go along and enjoy those. Don't expect anything more than a fun time, and you won't be disappointed.

If you feelings for B are such that it's difficult not to get emotionally involved with her, then maybe spend time with other dancers or try another club.

You're meant to leave the club with a smile on your face, not a frown....

Phil.

I do feel that im becoming emotionally attached to her, and ive tryed spending time with other dancers, but all they do is talk about B, and thats kinda difficult. But however ive decided not to go back to the club for a while, think its better that way

Are you saying that after 3 pages of posts about this dancer that you still don't get it? She's doing her job. It's as simple as that. Just go to the club, relax, have fun, spend your money on her, and leave it alone... if you can't handle doing only that-- just stop going there all together. Nobody here is going to tell you what it is you want to hear. Sheesh.

We did warn you that what you hear and see in a SC is intended as a fantasy, to get you to keep spending more money. There is really no point in asking if it's right or wrong; it is what it is. What is reasonable though is to ask, is the SC the place for you? And honestly, it really sounds like the best thing for you at this point would be to take a break from it. SCs aren't for everyone. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be loved, but the SC is just not the place to go to find real love or a relationship.

Of course it is not fair but this is what goes on in the SC. Experienced clubgoers know this but a fair number of them probably learned it the hard way, as you are doing now. The girl in question manipulated you for a relatively brief time, so consider yourself fortunate it didn't go on for many more months and cost many thousands of dollars more. At least you've learned a very important lesson and will have a better perspective on things should you continue visiting SC's.
