The only way to quit smoking is cold turkey. Even that doesn't work.

it's like trying to quit smoking... you start with 20 a day, then 15, 10, 5, 4,3,2,1... or whatever. But that whole process is difficult.no, it's not like smoking. unless, there's a patch, gum or pills for stripper addiction. you're not addicted to sc, strippers or your ATF. you can get a handle on your finances by simply not going.
I'm not trying to quit strip clubbing, I'm trying to manage my money in a better fashion. Whether I get sex from her or not, I'll still hang with her because I know I can get GOOD sex for cheaper at a bar.LOL....you two deserve each other. it's a match made in heaven. OTOH, you have a lazy stripper who, instead of working, would rather hang out with a broke customer for the occasional free drink, like the semi-alcoholic floozy one could meet in any bar at last call. OTOH, you have a customer going to sc to play poker, watch sports, drink, buy drinks etc. all while pinching his pennies til they scream and fuck around by hanging out like it's a bar instead of a sc. whatever happened to the customer who would walk-in looking for some brief mindless diversion, drop some cash and get the fuck out shortly after, literally and figuratively speaking, blowing his load? are they a dying breed?

I completely understand what you're saying, but it wasn't me that mentioned the whole "bond" thing. It was you or someone else, and I just replied on it. See guys, the thing is, I'm not fooled. I already know NOTHING will ever happen and don't expect it to really. I'm not in la-la land. It's like trying to quit smoking... you start with 20 a day, then 15, 10, 5, 4,3,2,1... or whatever. You are so off on so many levels it is unbelievable.

oddly enough, i actually agree with the last sentence mr_p wrote. whilst the customers who come to me aren't generally looking to literally 'blow their load' (and if they are, then they walk away sorely disappointed lol), it's true that there's less and less guys just coming in looking to spend some money and have a drama-free good time, and more and more guys coming in to try (try being the operative word here) to play stupid mind games, win over a stripper's affections, and just generally be shitheads.
i find that it's definitely a lot more common now to run into customers who want you to play into their stupid games, or who won't spend money until you 'prove' yourself, or who want the dancers to drink with them but won't spend money, than it was when i started dancing years ago.

You are so off on so many levels it is unbelievable.what an enlightening and cogent response. i wouldn't expect anything less from a stripper. who are you, BTW? are you his ATF that likes working for drinks? in any event, where exactly did i go wrong? you think strippers are addictive? if so, according to 12-step program advocates, i suppose that would make you his codependent and enabler. furthermore, i didn't know addictive substances could talk while one is sober.

LOL, dude did I do something to you or what? Lazy? She works a lot! She's never at the bar by herself, if she is, after five minutes someone will pick her up. I'm not broke, again, I'm managing my finances in a better fashion. The thing about her is, she's intelligent enough to know when to sit with me or another friend of hers for awhile, and when to go make money. When she's ready, she'll ask me for dances. I'll either say Yes or No.
As for managing my finances, I've quit going during the week and will show up on sunday for poker, sports, AND... NOW THAT I'VE MANAGED MY MONEY CORRECTLY... lap dances.
Everyone at the club I go to treats it like a bar and a SC, I have no clue what you're talking about.

LOL, dude did I do something to you or what? Lazy? She <snipped lunatic ravings of a PL>give it a rest. outside of it's value as entertainment fodder. i'm not interested in your admiration for a clown complete with alcoholic and mental health issues. the reason why i've been, metaphorically speaking, repeatedly shanking you with a rusty screwdriver is because you had the temerity to attribute your behavior to an addiction when it's nothing more than male stupidity.
Everyone at the club I go to treats it like a bar and a SC, I have no clue what you're talking about.of course, you have no clue. it's called ignorance and considering the circumstances of why you started this thread. it's no surprise why you found yourself in such a position. however, ignorance can be cured, but in your case. i think it's hopeless.

Update: Took a break from nightshift which was nice but ready to go back and see if my ATF even wants to be within 10 feet of me now. Ha. :( Dayshift girls have been a lot of fun and plan to see one or two OTC soon enough but night was fun too, be back soon I'm sure.

Heh, show up to night shift with a wad of cash, act like nothing happened, spend on her like mad and the atf won't be 10 feet away from you. :)
So taking a break was moving from nights to day shift?
<taps two fingers sharply against his arm> Yeah addicted...

Svelt/xdamage: No way man, she's sick of me anyways. I'm not gonna give someone my money if she can't stand to be around me anymore. She got mad that I ignored her texts and was acting rude (Which I was rude and apologized a million times) but she's absolutely, positively ignored my text's and stuff MANY times over what I have, and I never ever have asked why she's ignoring me. I figure it's cause she has a husband and a whole other life besides the club. Saw her last night though, god she looks amazing. I was there dayshift AND nightshift hahaha.
Svelt, yes to answer your question, I wanted to go to try dayshift to see what those girls are like and it's WAYYYY different. Those girls will see you OTC without charging you if they like you enough... }:D ... Don't plan on paying for sex anytime soon.

I know nobody cares but I've had 2 PM's a few weeks ago requesting updates on the situation, and someone actually on here told me to as well, so ok...
Update: (Edited by slims099) Forget it, it's pointless lol. Long story short. We had yet another argument, wish her the best... moving on.

Thanks for the update.
Gotta love the SC for the drama, because it has a way of finding you no matter how hard you hide from it.
Its just a different sort of mileage...

I banned myself from nightshift except for Sundays when I go play poker there. I just cannot be there while she's there for awhile. I'll come around I'm sure, but now that I'm going to school and working less, I'll be coming around less which is good.
Being drunk doesn't help. That's really the problem is I get drunk and say stupid things. I should drink water and still be able to have a good time at the club but it can be realllllly fun drunk. It's not good when a girl tells the manager to tell you to stop talking to her. It's funny. It's like you turn around and you get a slap in the face out of nowhere and you ask yourself what the fuck you did to get yourself there. I tried to break it off several times and we'd just come back and be friends again, we had a really good connection and are pretty similar in a lot of ways. But now that she "broke it off" I guess it really is over. lol. Reminds me of Audrina on that God forsaken show that I can't stop watching, The Hills.

The drunk thing makes for interesting situations...
I drunken text, well it appears I do, since I wake to response texts and don't recall sending the original.

Time to find a new poker table slims. In a different club.

Poker is fine on sunday, she's never there. I usually leave by 8 or 9. There aren't many other good clubs like this one in Dallas. Can't leave a club just because she's there, I was rude and selfish to her though, it's not like she's doing anything wrong to me.

There are a ton of nice clubs in Dallas. Its one of the titty bar capitals of the US! Plus, you are being totally cryptic here. Did you go uber-PL on her or something?

Wow, I'm back... and haven't spoken to her in two months, it's been great! Yes I went uber-PL, but that was two months ago... good times with lots of newer, hotter, younger girls at the club. Makes me proud!

Any extras or OTC with the new girls to report?

Extras, not at my club. I'm sure I could but I don't do that. OTC is easy with a few day girls though. Saw one already, about 3 weeks ago, lets just say... it was niiiiiice. Some girls just want DINNER! lol.

Man, I found out last week that when she says she:
just want DINNER!
what she expects later is often much more expensive in terms of either currency, or headache. I'm strictly a P2P man with any OTC contact with strippers* from now on. I'd much rather pay up front than in the long run.
* excepting the couple I'm friends with but have never been a customer of.

Wow it's almost May and I haven't tried to talk to her in the club since November, talk about WILL POWER, right? jk. At first it sucked, but then naturally I just moved on and found plenty of other girls who seemed to satisfy me the same, if not better than she did. She came up to me like 3 months ago claiming I said something to a customer about her having a husband or whatever, I dunno. I just walked away. Then Sunday I'm there about 10pm sitting at the back bar with not a lot of people around and she came up to me and asked how I was doing. I found it prettttty awkward considering I almost totally forgot about her and there she is back in my life again.
Anyway, so we chat a little bit and things are ok. I just thought it was so weird considering I NEVER tried to talk to her for 6-7 months and here she is coming up to me twice in that period of time trying to get re-acquainted or re-kindle our friendship or whatever happened. She knows I'm not good money anymore, at least for a few more months til I get my therapy license then I probably won't spend on her anyways but ya never know.
I drink about half of what I usually drink at the club. There's NO sense in getting completely wasted at a strip club with an anger problem, that's just bad. Can ruin lots of shit that way lol. Kinda dating someone right now anyways, so that's why I'm only in there on Sundays now for Poker, usually no other day, but sometimes Friday day for lunch... I went from SUPER PL to sort-of PL.
(Added) Just remembered, I tipped her on stage and she said "You missed me, didn't you." I was thinking to myself "Didn't you want to get re-acquainted with me?" Silly silly.
I just wonder what the motive is behind HER wanting to get re-acquainted. I didn't expect this at all and was OK with us not talking to each other again. You figured if she told a manager to tell him to tell me to quit talking to her (yes its true lol, remember Super PL and alcohol problem) then we wouldn't ever talk again... EVER!
adios,

My club-going schedule depends entirely on my financial situation. I average once every couple weeks or if I really need to conserve funds it'll be once a month. In my optimal world, I'd go once a week probably. First I need bigger paychecks...
Even now when I only go once or twice a month, some of the dancers and staff recognize me, which is always nice.

For the Guys...
How often do you guys go to strip clubs? Do you ever feel like you have to take a break from your ATF and/or club and just not go for a month or two? Have you ever done that? I'm an extreme regular at my club I go to and know almost everyone there, but it's just hard to NOT go for some reason. The ATF isn't the problem and keeps things interesting and spontaneous, but it's just getting redundant and I believe I'm gonna break for awhile.
Not to mention THE FINANCES, and THE ALCOHOL. The finances aren't nearly a problem as me drinking 3-4 nights a week. I'm getting better at budgeting and being responsible with my money, and I figure the less I go, obviously the more I can spend when I go. But the alcohol is getting to me, I really need to quit for awhile and just stay on lots of good liquids like water and juice.
Anyway, enough of the babbling. How often do you guys go? Do you ever feel like you have to take a break for awhile? and is it difficult for you to take a break, if you feel addicted in some way?
I'm just now getting it back in my head that strip clubs and strippers are a waste of money. I used to think I was addicted to strip clubs back in 2000/2001 but it was really easy to quit because 1, I wasn't a regular at any 1 club and 2, I didn't have an ATF, and 3, I would always appear like 2-3 hours before closing time and 4, I had other things going on at that time. It was great cause back then I was just a nameless face in the crowd and nobody knew my name.
Now I was a club regular, achieved the "holy grail" 5 times with 4 different dancers,(most of the time in the VIP area) gotten a few dancers phone numbers, (tho I never met them otc) hell one girl wants me to be a RIL and complained that there was no emotional bond between us. (then again she also complained that she worked with a bunch of phonies and I was the only one there that was "real.")
But this is one club where you DON'T want an ATF because they just take the shit a little too personal and some of the dancers need to be reminded that they're selling a fantasy and need to learn not to get overly emotional when I decide I don't want to buy any lap dances from them. I'm sure alot of guys are into the whole girlfriend experience but here you'll get it complete with nagging, bitching, complaining, and whining. (but that is a whole other thread for another time.)At 1st I just went in to bullshit with the bouncers, door guys, managers, and the wait staff but then business started to drop and there were times when I was the only paying customer so these half-way whores flocked to me like vultures to a corpse. I've put up with so much stripper shit that if it weren't for xbox live and Virtua Fighter 5 I probably would've jumped off a bridge or shot myself.
If I were into prostitute sex (and putting my health at risk) I'd goto this other club that's slightly closer to my house but I'm in no hurry to catch the aids virus or something equally as painful. But anyways...back to more fulfilling but equally expensive hobbies.(magic the gathering and/or pc building.)
