I have worked all over Europe. I am originally from Sydney. Needless to say i loved Sydney but needed a break from the monotonous life style of dancing and partying. So I left Sydney and traveled all over Europe I didn't dance everywhere but I danced in a few places. Being away from home is a good way to see how really great you home town is. Travel is something everybody should do. Europe was great, got sick of it came to the U.S. and it is even better here to dance than anywhere else I have worked in Europe. Yet Sydney was always the most fun and best place that I have ever worked though because it's home.

I live in Miami Beach now and I hate it. A bunch of fake, materialistic people who freak out if your tits are real and if you speak more then one language besides spanish.
I have lived in Paris, and loved it. Imagine having a butcher, a pastry shop, a grocery store and a bar on almost every block? *sighs* I have never had bad food in France. Now in FL, that's another story. They really know how to butcher a burger. And people look at you funny when you eat carbs!
I have visited Tokyo and London and love them both. But I would live in London and work in Leeds. The commute would be a bitch, though. LOL There are plenty of museums, shows and pubs to escape boredom. And plenty of pubs to keep me warm. If I want a weekend away, I can hop a train to France or a plane to Amsterdam or Sweden. Did I mention the pubs?
PS - RoseLeigh: I love your signature. I have all 4 seasons of Coupling on dvd! And The Office!

That is my dream. I have been there for a short amount of time, but I would love to rent an apartment and live there for two or three months.
But as far as dancing goes, I wish I would have checked out dancing in New York and lived there for a few months.

Vivacious, I love your avatar! You can rent a fully furnished apartment for one to six months. That's what I did! But it's tough if you're an american and want to work there.

I gotta agree with Candice.
Ditto on the OVER-abundance of stupid people in warm climates.
Back East (not just philly, I lived in md/dc for 6 years too) education was stressed. It seemed to me that everyone went to straight college after high school; even if they weren't good students.
Ok, yeah, it's true. So where is the happy medium?
And achick: how long have you lived in Miami Beach? I once had the same complaints, and I miss is terribly right now, cause I am surrounded in the exact opposite. A bunch of over-competitive scholarly types who arrogantly sneer at the idea of admitting that having a lot of money is important to you.
Ok, that's just my school. But I am reeling from it.

Bridgette-- instead of ATL, maybe you should check out New Orleans. The money still hasn't recovered, but you can have your good nights. If you're looking for a working vacation and want a place that stays open as long as people are there, this is a good place.
I like the mentality of a club that stays open as long as people are there-- I'm annoyed when my club closes at 2 (alcohol sales). Why not keep the club open til four and not sell alcohol from 2-4? People are already waste, shouldn't be on the road, and can always buy a couple drinks before the alchohol bar closes.
but logic never wins.

Thanks, Achick! That's why I need to make a lot of money so I can just live there and not work. Of course, the other option is just to become a French citizen, haha. ;D Anyway, it's fantastic that you did that!

Sunnie=> I have wasted 2 good years in Miami Beach. At my old job, we attracted alot of tourists. I was interested in a co-worker, and on several occasions, if there were some french, japanese, or swedish tourists, I would speak to them in their language. This guy would freak out when I did this, in fact, any man I dated that was from FL would freak out because they were intimidated by me. I thought having real 34DDs and speaking other languages were admirable qualites. Stupid people!
Vivacious=> The dollar is weak right now so your choices are to marry a french man, become an investment banker or a high-priced hooker :D

Ladies!! Think globally! DUBAI is where it's at! If they allowed strip clubs, that would be superb! ::) Do you have any IDEA how much money is being thrown around there? It's just obscene! }:D The investigation continues... 8)

Nikki ==> One of my friends lived in Dubai and Bahrain for 2 years and loved it. Lots of rich men there. Just wealthy people in general, besides the workers constructing the hotels.

but logic never wins.Wow I just saw this. I'm from New Orleans and worked there for years. I won't be going back because I don't wanna see the city after the storm. Nuff said.

^ god.. living there is so expenisve but so fun. i swear, the only way danuel and i could do it was on my savings from working in the us. all his work money went to our bills... but we played on mine :)
i would have to lose another 20-30 pounds before working in van. and i've just lost 30! it seems fun and easy enough though. the club i hung out at had no lapdances and it was stage only. this brunette chick had me addicted... even though she reeked of meth i still thought she was hot. had SCARLETT been in vancouver the last time i was there she'd have been my favorite bc brunette!!

I love to work in Philly, but living in PA would depress me. No offense to anyone who lives there. lol. I just find it boring. But if I do try out Philly, the money is good and I get a cheap place to live i'd suck it up and consider living there for a bit. Maybe.. ;D
But I want to move around from state to state now. I need to sample some places.
