THE D--OMFG how do you get it like where you can see a diff after a few days?! Lol. I bet my pics won't tell...the scale sez I'm 129 tonite....wha? I'm on my p. and haven't been to tha gym in a lil minute. Must be a fluke. Did you get my last PM? I think sw might have eaten it up.

I actually had fun on my run tonight. I'm doing the walk to run program in the October issue of Shape. I suck at running but I followed the directions to run for one minute and walk for three minutes 6x and I actually pushed myself a lot harder because I knew I only had to run for a minute. I feel really good. Like, scary good. I did well food wise today too.

I didn't work out over the weekend, but I worked out today (40 min treadmill on steep incline and 30 min weights). I like working out. Then my boyfriend came over today to celebrate my birthday and we had a good 2 hours of hot sex. Wooooo! The man wears me out!
Today I had an acai bowl for breafast. I skipped lunch b/c I was too busy fucking my man. Then my kid and I went to the Cheesecake Factory for b-day dinner, and I behaved...eggplant sandwich, no mayo, hold half the bun. Skipped the fries. But hell yeah I had some birthday cheesecake!

I've majorly slipped. I have PMS and I'm tired and I was sick. Yesterday I had pizza and today I got a burger, so I totally fucked up the vegan thing but I do feel sufficiently gross that I'll be going back to it for awhile. I haven't been to the gym in several days. I'm going to go have a nap now (running on 3 hours of sleep, so tired) and go to the gym when I get up.
When I get hugely bloated and puffy like this, I don't want to go to the gym, I just feel so fat I want to give up. I feel like shit right now. I just want to get lipo on my arms and thighs and a little on my tummy, and be done with it.

I did 40 min cardio, met with a trainer for an hour, and did some ab ecxercises after my cardio session.
I was in the gym for 2 hours. Dayum! Had to work off that cheesecake though...

Yek- ONE DAY AT A TIME! It's a lifestyle change not a quick fix. I have had shitty PMS for over a week now (I'm one day late) and I went. I felt better. Now I didn't go everyday. but even on the days I didn't go, I stretched a lot and went to work.
looser, baggy clothes to the gym and just focus on what i want to accomplish and save my cute clothes for when the bloating goes away.
Go for a walk if you feel blah and grab a garden burger instead of a huge cow burger!
Also, we all have our days when we 'fall of the wagon'. So you get up and start over the next day! Pretty easy.
(Btw, I had some awesome Ethiopian food yesterday:D )

ok, i can feel a serious difference in how i feel when im eating well. i didnt think i'd notice it so fast when ive only had 3 bad days! and yesterday wasnt even *horrible* i just had a bad lunch! but i definately feel icky all around.
Ok I weighed myself today and had gained a pound back (143 lbs). I don't think that is too bad since I was home last week for the funeral and everyone was bringing food in. I thought I had gained alot more, but I am bloated and have pms. Looking forward to Thursday, I start a belly dancing class.
I weighted myself today and I've lost ten pounds. But I still look the same. I can't find my tape measure.

I've been bad on eating. Too tired to go to the grocery, and I'm working so late that I've been getting whatever is fast :( I havn't eaten enough today, only half a sammich and cup of soup....with a big fatty machiatto, but I digress. This week is so stressful, it really doesn't matter what I'm eating/working out. The stress is what's going to shave years off my life and bloat me to all hell.
My arms are killing me from the workout yesterday though, trainer upped my weights.

I'll share my personal story with you in pm land, but when you hear why you'll understand why I work so hard. It's pretty fucking tragic, but it motivates me like hell.

Nothing wrong with that. My stress is work and deadline related, amongst other things. I think I'm calmer and should eat something now..
Hopefully you are eating more than that throughout the day.

I just bought a big ol bag of whey protein from Costco (even tho I'm a lil sensitive to dairy bc I don't drink milk) so Imma try to have at least one of those a dayStress factor is starting to set in too, after a screaming and 1/2 physical fight last night, and days of being pissed at this stupid letter his mysteriously-disappeared-for-10-years ex sent me. Soooo I've been really sucking butt on this challenge so far.
Today I bought one of those inflatable exercise ball thingies. When I was working out with a personal trainer he had me use one all the time and I loved it. Lets hope this turns things around.

So I started a little late. I got serious about this yesterday (Monday.) I decided to record all my calories. I weigh 120 today and I want to get down to 115 and gain a little bit of muscle and tone up. (Doesn't sound too hard but I've been wanting this for several months.) Here's what I've been doing- I eat aprroximately 1200 calories per day with at least one serving of fruit, veggies, grain, diary, and a couple of protein. I work out twice a week. (I read somewhere that 1200 is a reccomended amount for someone 120 who wants to lose weight.) One day of weights and the other day of 30 minutes on the elliptical. On days that I workout I allow myself an extra 100-150 calories. I should workout more but I'm going to start realistically.
I felt light headed at times yesterday and today. Tonight I ate an extra 100-120 calories today because I was light headed again. I don't want to go through light headedness again. I noticed that fruit doesn't really make me feel full for the calories probably because of all the sugar so I might eat less sweet ones or more veggies instead.
I read somewhere that it's a good idea to treat yourself with something for each small goal you achieve. So I'm going to reward myself with a bit of shopping after each week I stuck mainly to my goals.
Edited to add I subtracted from my weight- the weight of my implants (approx 3lbs) since they don't really count.;)

Mines gone up I think because I'm not eating the foods I like to eat. If I can't have my chocolate and my favorite foods (especially sweets) then give me sex (at least.) :-\ I didn't really get any last night or today though. Bf is sick.
I was laying in bed last night hungry and I was thinking of eating then thinking of giving a blowjob. (And that is so atypical of me! I never think of that). I think I'm ovulating though. I was craving sex again today.
I think working out makes me feel better about my body though as though my body is more capable.

I just did some Pilates, which I haven't done in for-ev-er. Holy ab work, batman. I really really felt it, but I couldn't do all the stuff because I bruised my tailbone from the horse fall, and putting pressure on it really hurts.
Now to go riding again, and try not to fall...heh.
I also plan on runnning when I get home from the barn, and maybe some Rodney Yee dvd if I have time. I am so a DVD excercise person.

Alright... jumping back on the wagon after my boyfriend's sister's wedding event/vaction-thing(still ate pretty healthy, but with all the buffets I ate TOO MUCH!! So... prob back up to the orginal start weight... I have my first audition tomorrow since I took the summer off (before that danced 4 years... normally around 118 lbs-128 lbs at 5'5"), now I am somewhere near 135, hopefully they will be nice when I explain that after a whole summer of doing nothing I need to shape up a bit! It tends to happen when I dance anywho cause I get really into it (like in an artistic way on stage :) )
Everybody cross your fingers they still want to hire me... as I need this money for getting into an apartment in the next few weeks!
I took some more shots the other day but left my camera at a friends'. I'll post more pics when I retrieve it! (I took them the day before the weekend's indulgences began to show... so I feel like I had made some progress in them!)

I was trying to do my Pilates dvd 5x a week, but I'm still only on 3 days a week. I don't like doing it while my bf is at home, so I'll only do it while he's at work. I spent 2 days with him during the day last week, and he was home Monday & Tuesday of this week. But I am still doing the dvd at least 3x a week and throwing in the extra 15 minutes session they have in the bonus features. So October is going way better than September. I guess I'm proud of myself just for making a small effort! And my body already feels better even if I can't see much of a difference yet. I'm excited to see what I look like at the end of the month.

my biggest problem with working out at home is taking breaks. like right now haha. but so far i did a quick yoga warmup (only like 5 mins) and a walking warmup.. walked in place for about 15 mins with 3lb weights doing curls and diff arm exercises.. now im halfway through my fav on demand workout that combines cardio and toning exercises. after that i'll do abs & stretch! this would go by so much faster if i didnt get distracted by coming back on the computer haha..
oh, and i drink a 1.5 liter bottle of water every time i work out!
