I think my body is finally getting used to eating a little every few hours like my Dr wants me to do. I still have trouble eating for the first few hours after I get up...but the rest of the day it's like I have NO appetite..then go from 0-starving in 2 seconds every 3-4 hours. But I get full after only eating a little.
So woo hoo!
I havent been able to work out much in the past week or so because of my back...so I'm not losing any(boo)...but it seems my metabolism might be coming around FINALLY.

ug. Stress eating all day. Today is my "rest day" in my workout plan. Normally, I'd take a walk but the air quality is so bad I really can't.

Doing much better today. Been practically living on chocolate and I think the only reason I didn't gain (in fact I lost) is because I have a cold and maybe my body is burning more cals because of it? In any case I'm almost better so I better be careful. Usually I gain when I have a cold because eating (especially ice cream) is the only thing that makes my throat feel better but this time it was more swollen than sore so I didn't do too bad.
Gonna do great this week so I have room to splurge at a party this weekend.

My bf did pilates with me tonight, it was so cute!! I always skip it if I haven't done it by the time he comes home, so if he does it with me I have no excuses.

I didn't work out today. Because of the fires in San Diego, the air quality is poor, and they are advising us to stay indoors and do limited activity (no exercise).
I watched what I ate today. Over the w/end I wasn't very strict, but hopefully by Wed. I can get back to the gym.

Man, I wish I could get my SO to do pilates with me! LOL! He tried yoga once and couldn't walk straight for a few days, so I don't ask anymore.
I went to youtube and looked up pilates and there are some great videos you can watch and do if you have the space in your room. This is good for me because I have exercise videos but every once in awhile it's nice to try some variety and do like 10 minutes of ab work or 10 minutes of butt!
I haven't been losing weight. In fact, since my very first post, I've bloated like a balloon because I was stressed and eating a lot of carbs. But, for the last two days I've been doing an anti-candida diet to get rid of my yeast infection, and I always lose weight on this and inches! *crossing my fingers*

What stretches do you do to do the splits? It's been since middle school that I could do them but I would love to do them again. Do you do a lot of lunges and toe touching?

if it makes you feel any better, today i got really upset because a year ago, and 2 years ago, the clothes that fit dont even come close to fitting now. it makes me really upset. i dont know where the weight came from and i want it gone NOW. but im getting to the point where im resenting the fact that im not that small anymore and its making me want to say fuck it.

I haven't been to the gym in two weeks. K's been in town for a week and we've been drinking too much and eating fried yummy foods. I have lost weight and for the first time in years, I'm below 130 and I had to buy new size 6 jeans. My old jeans are so loose I can take them off without unbuttoning them. I have no idea how this happened. Tonalin, maybe?
I still want to lose another 5 pounds, maybe 10, and tone up more. And I still want to get liposculpture on my arms. But I'm feeling a lot better about myself these days. K has lost weight too! We're gonna be slim sexy swingers very soon, I think!

IDK if anyone else is doing moderate/low carb, but I found a great website that has low carb food, it's Netrition.com and they have tons of yummy stuff. I really like the Instone pudding, it's 20 grams of protein, 1 gram of carb, and 2 grams of fat and really really yummy and filling too! Only 100 calories.

I am going to jump in from here, because if this diet / excercise/pill combination doesnt work by this time next month, i am getting Lipo on my stomach and love handles and thats final!>:(
lol No but i have to admit I love my arms and legs, my ass, and my boobs are wonderful... it is just over the past year i have developed a stomach pouch and love handles on my back and these two things are driving me nuts. I am going to diet/excercise or eat nothing but freaking berrys if i have to...I am always going to be thick... I like being thick, but I am stretching the limits now, its time to shed some weight on the pooch. I want it to be super tight to bring out the rest of my curves
I am watching my diet closely, i went from eating chicken for lunch and steak for dinner...
to now slim fast or raisen bran for lunch and and veggie burger for dinner...
Going on two weeks now... no progress... today i added hoodia as a appetite suppresant... and today i also added 30 mins of cardio.

Oh gosh I'll try to explain though I'll probably not make any sense at all. It's all stuff I did in jazz classes when I used to dance.
I start of with sideways lunges to warm up and then stand with my legs a little wider than shoulder width apart. And I bend to the side, touching each leg and also the floor between my feet. After doing that for a while I sit on the floor with my legs apart and basically do the same thing, gradually making my legs wider and wider apart as my muscles loosen. Then I do jazz splits (also calld half splits or runner's stretch) on each side and shift over to attempt to do splits. Also lots of toe touches and laying on my back holding my foot near my face.
Basically, stretches that make your hamstrings and hips area more flexible.
I usually do it all while watching tv to avoid crying from boredom and to distract me from discomfort :P

Another 35 minutes on the elliptical. 15 min forward, 20 min backward.

:highfive: I'm so close. I didn't stretch all summer so I lost any flexibility I had.
And dammit I love that dancin' banana!

I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I was able to do it again. I quit dance hmm my senior year of high school so three years ago and I haven't really stretched on a regular basis since then? And I am NOT naturally flexible at all.
Actually, I can only do the left side, though I never was able to do the right side. My right leg's about half an inch longer, I think that's why. This time around, though... I stretch almost twice as much on the right side, I'm trying to even it out lol.

I am very pleased. I have found some Lean Cuisine's (frozen, low fat, microwavable meals) that actually taste good! They have heaps of veggies and protein and are so quick and easy, perfect for a before work meal. So I've been eating them for dinner most nights. I just can't be assed with the effort of preparing fresh veggies and meat each night.

^ I've been eating Lean Cuisines occasionally for a couple years. My favorite flavors are the salmon with spinach risotto, turkey with sweet potatoes, and chicken and noodles with peanut sauce. Those are actually the only flavors I buy. They're not as healthy as eating fresh veggies and food since you microwave them alot of the nutrients leave them. But they are somewhat balanced and fairly filling for 200-300 calories. I like them because I don't have to cook.

ok, so I'm back in, lol. you know, it's so weird, but I'm streaming Brit's new album, right, and thinking "man, if only she'd get her ass in gear, put out a hot vid, and just ONE HOT PERFORMANCE, WE'D ALL TAKE HER BACK" Then I thought, "Divya, just 'cos [this thing] is happening to you- don't be liek Brit! Suck it up, get hot, keep your grades up, quit giving in."
So, I will be back down to 132 by this weekend (strong goal, I know, but I'm hoping some of 6 of these pounds I gained in the past week is water weight and bloat.)
I know none of you care, except for maybe Ariel, but it feels good just saying it somewhere. When I get a little happier I'll start the vlogs again. Man, I HATE bad news. It's cool, though, I'll make it. Oh, and I WILL BE 125 by the end of November. I can do it, ok?
OK.

I'm out. NO matter what I do ...how well or how little I eat and how much I bust my ass working out..I still gain weight.
By this time next year..I will look like a baby manatee. Why break my back if I'm not getting any results? I've been doing this for years and I'm at the highest weight I've ever been. I fucking give up. Bring on the Doritos.

Cam, I really think you must have been building muscle. Please don't give the random number on the scale any power over how you feel about yourself! You are one of the sexiest women I've ever met, so own it!

Y'know..I prob have gained some muscle...but I've gained THIRTY pounds in the last cpl years. I have not gained 30 pounds of muscle..I"d look like a bodybuilder.
And the flabby squish around my midsection states it isnt muscle.
I've gone over this and over it with my Dr. I've told him my diet, my excersize routine..everything., We've tested thyroid....he cant figure out why I keep gaining. He doesnt want to give me diet drugs because 1) most are appetite suppressants and I dont eat that much to begin with..overeating isnt the problem and 2) there arent any results on long term effects on the pancreas so he doesnt want to chance making my condition worse.

Well I have not gone to the gym in 4 days because 1) due to the fires in San Diego, the air quality is poor, and they are telling us to avoid strenuous exercise, and 2)I have been sick since Monday.
The good news?
My measurements have stayed the same, but when I got on the scale at the Dr.'s office, it said that I lost 2 lbs. so now I weigh 124. Down from 130.
In the midst of suffering from strep throat, that was a very happy thing for me to hear!

I really miss being outdoors. My walks help keep me sane, and I haven't walked since Sat. I'm still lifting weights; I can tell I'm getting stronger.
ok i'm out, Just found out I'm pregnant so I don't think I should be trying to lose any weight. I do plan on still doing some light exercising. thanks everyone for the motivation to lose the 15 lbs. I'll keep checking in on everyone.

^ Congrats!
Went to my doctor's appointment yesterday and got weighed. I weigh 6 pounds more than the last appointment which was about 3 months ago. I'm hoping the weight is from excess bloat and water...it was the 3rd day of my rag. I hope it was, even though I don't do numbers.

I am only adhering to my diet today, no working out, as my stomach hurts terrible today. the power crunch ab excercise the past two days is making me feel like ive been stabbed in the stomach. The good news is, today i wore my fave floor length white flowy linen skirt which i have not been able to zip up all the way up in YEARS! :) I notice a difference in the mirror too. Ah- good feeling to see progress... my stomach feels tighter... just not how I would like it yet. Looking at this picture is my inspiration/goal
http://b2.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/00515/27/18/515928172_l.jpg
as my body has the potential to be this if i keep at it! Need to exercise more, even if it is cardio and not crazy ab crunches!
My diet:
Breakfast-Slimfast
Lunch- roasted potatoes & brocolli lean cuisine and the Hoodia diet supplement
Snack inbetween meal: Trail mix unsalted or fruit or celery
Dinner- Lean Cuisine, or some type of fish or seafood..
I have cut out ALL meat except fish. I hope I can cut out fish too as I am considering going vegetarian.
Bad news is, my boyfriend misses all my famous entrees and complains as he is frying his OWN burgers :(
The hardest part of this, is watching and smelling other people devour chicken and chinese and pizza.... I drink water and resist the urge to salt, its so crazy that i have had to literally stop myself from shaking salt directly from the salt shaker into my mouth.... lol sick.
