italian ice isnt even that bad for you! definately not as bad as other stuff. (i justify everything ;))
i decided im going to try to have a piece of fruit with every meal. i dont eat a lot of veggies so im going to try to really up my fruits.even if i eat something that isnt super great for me, at least i have the fruit.

Godfucking dammit. I'm never going to lose anymore fat if I keep eating like this! I just love to eat after a long, busy day busting my ass! Must get to grocery store before hunger kicks in. Wendy's is much closer than HEB. :(
What begins as a desire for a baked potato with only a little sour cream and no butter, turns into a different, uglier, and far fattier outcome. ;)

I joined the gym today!! didnt work out but I have a workout partner in town yay! we are going tomm. morning. I just ate an entire bag of mini snickers though. Stupid halloween candy. im a failure so far, lol..
My stomach has seriously shrunk. I'm just never hungry anymore. It's like I have to force myself to eat now. I think that's a good thing, but I haven't felt like that in a while. Oh well! Exercise time!

^ wish i had that problem! the first week is the hardest of course.(for me atleast) Once i buckle down i have no problem. Im an emotional eater :(

I am delirious and pooped. After working a late 8 hour shift last night, I woke up @ 8am today and went to the gym, then straight to work for another 9 hour shift. I ate about 4 small meals today. I'm delirious.

I forgot to weigh myself. Okay I'll admit it I hate scales, even if I am losing weight!
Another customer told me again today that he could tell I'd been working out, and told me to keep up the good work. The encouragement I've been getting from customers has been awesome. I feel a lot more energy onstage too...pole tricks are easier to do and I don't feel like I'm slugging around onstage. Dances are becoming easier to sell.
I always knew that exercise was an important part of being a stripper, but now I am seriously considering working out as part of my job.
Tomorrow is my day of rest. I feel like I burned 8,000 calories today. Oy. Ow. My feet. I....need....candlelit.....bath......oy...

I cut down my sugar intake drastically (that was HARD AS FUCK!)...and I only eat light and healthy things like sandwiches, fruit, Life cereal with soy milk, etc. I've had a few fast food meals this past couple of weeks, but I also ate those along with fruit and yogurt. I haven't really been having any cravings, either... :-\ I've been doing this for a while, too, I'm sure that has something to do with it. I'm just getting back into my old regimen.

Hmm, well I still do eat a good amount of sugar, and most of my food choices are rather heavy-not fast food, but potatos, cheese, etc. I'm not trying to cut down on calories really, just trying not to eat MORE!
^Try to do some calorie cutting and eating a little bit lighter while you're trying to eat less.

I noticed this too when I first switched from ginormous portions to normal sized ones. Most people are used to huge, supersized portions and your stomach is used to this/stretched as a result. After about a week of sensible eating, you really are satisfied with less.
I'm not really looking to lose too much weight but I really do need to clean up my diet as I'm allergic to grains and sugar and stupidly keep eating them, which ends up giving me acne and digestion issues...
What I've been finding works wonders is peppermint tea. I basically chug it all day and it's so refreshing and a wonderful appetite suppressant. Celestial seasonings makes an awesome peppermint tea.

EXACTLY!!! that's how I'm feeling now. I've basicly been grazing. eating every couple of hours.
well, last night at work i ate a lean cuisine meal and a 1/2 a banana w/ peanut butter on it, and even that made me fell icky. I felt so full, like, uncomfortably so.....
I'mma have to get a peppermint tea too :)

I have sugar cravings too. I like Mily's idea of eating fruit and yogurt. I just had a soy yogurt and banana. It helps with the sugar cravings, b/c it's sweet food but not junk.

If you're hungry all the time you should probably eat more protein, along with fiber and healthy fats. But especially protein. Also make sure you're drinking plenty of water since sometimes we mistake thirst for hunger. And hot drinks help me feel full.
Going to be in the Portland area again today. Must. Not. Cave to junk. Like last time.

Well I lost one pound since Wednesday. I haven't been hitting anything that hard, but I'm working mostly on eating more vegetables, less crap.
Thanksgiving dinner is tonight...yeesh. But I've been good so far today. I don't know if I'll be able to resist dessert though. I'll try.

Okay after a week of doing not so great on the diet part, I filled my kitchen with healthful things and have had two days of eating well.
I've been eating brown rice, and lots of veggies. I make smoothies when I HAVE TO eat something sweet. My goal is to cut ot refined foods and white sugar from my diet. it's really hard, especially when it comes to sugar. I'm such a fiend. I'm thinking about going macrobiotic for a while.
I have been working out most days, mainly walking and weight training.

I try to substitute with a better-for-me version of what I want, but I can't really think of any right now.
Sorry girls this is so late, I had a death in my family and had to go out of town. I did weigh myself on monday and had lost another pound. That puts me at 142lbs. But I have probably put 3lbs on from all the food I ate this week. I have to be really good this weekend. I am joining a belly dancing class on thursday, that should be fun.

Hey, it's not that bad! If you get some bangin ass chips from Whole Foods or wherever, they have the best flavors. Garden Of Eatin' (hehe) is one brand that comes to mind. Plus really fresh salsa is great.

You're not the only one! At least you stayed away from Mickey D's-I ate there twice within the last week. I like playing that Monopoly game they have now, so that's part of it. Next time I go there, I'm gonna get a Diet Coke and chicken sandwich with no mayo and eat the sandwich without the bun. I'll try to stay away from the fries or only eat a few. Then it won't sabotage my healthy eating and exercise as much. ;)

you guys, I think I've plateaued at 133-ish and it's CRAZY HARD to break it. I'm gonna hve to do some mad research on how to break the plateau.
Oh an my skin is FREAKING THE FUCK OUT for some reason, so I'm gonn detox for some time, I think. Try to get these fucking pimples of my face. I HATE PIMPLES. They're the grossest things oneearth.
Like, sometimes I think about what's going on inside of them and I just wanna die thinking that it's on ym face. It's so damn gory. YUCKKKKKKKKK

A few weeks ago, they shipped the previous tenant (I had moved there July 1st so....) the whole 5 step treatment of Murad, like Proactive, guess it's made with sulfur instead...it's been really good....but be warned! You might get yr shit 3 months late!

My chest is sore from yesterday, and it will probably be worse tomorrow. My arms aren't bad but the 2nd day is usually when I feel them.
I did abs and cardio today, I'll do shoulders and I guess lats later if I get ambitious.
I ate well today, oatmeal, yoghurt, a tofu banana strawberry peach smoothie, and a bunch of yummy chard. I'd like to eliminate sugar but it's really hard.
And some dark choclate.

i talked to my nurse homie. she said it's salt. all the salt in all the shit i ate caused me to gain a couple and not to worry. all i know is tomorrow is our weight in and my measurements are gonna SUCK ASSSSSS

Oh yeah I did great food wise but I'm taking a break from school and today was the first day that I tried to get into the uni gym and my ID came up as invalid. Crapsticks. Not looking forward to an Oregon winter without a nice dry gym.

My weight held steady at 146.
I did really well cardio wise, walking, using my elliptical, and going to my karate classes for 5 days of cardio.
My diet sucked this week. Bad me!
And I was slacking on the weights...so I need to kick my own ass into gear.

Comments: Weird how I gained weight, but I'm shrinking in size. I mean, I understand the hole "muscle weighs more than fat bit," but I mean look at my waist size drop, it seems a bit weird. I wonder if I even measured correctly. I'm never any good with waist measurements, 'cos my waist is so freaking curvy. Anyway, I'm tempted to say my waist only dropped 0.2 like my other measurements (body fat and hips,) which would put me at 27.55.
Anyway, I came up with a better way to take the comparative photos- USING THE SELF-TIMER, DUH! So, the difference between last week and this week is gonna be huge, 'cos of the way the cam was used. Also, my body is at a slight slant in that second picture. Next week I'll try to face more dead-on, but quite frankly I was too lazy to do it now.

I did okay this week. Didn't quite meet my goals.
2 classes, only one 1/2 hour with the Pilates video, stretching 4 out of 7 days. Not enough fruit and veg. Less horrible snacking, but still some unhealthy days. Still, better than I've done in years. I can actually see a smidge of muscle in my stomach and at the bottom of my thighs around the knee!
I think I'll put aside my reward money anyway, since I made it through and I am proud of me.
Why, why did I get creative with my workout split? I hurt so much right now. My butt. My buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuutt! Owie, owie, owie.

that good girl, stay motivate. I'm for myself in great shape, ah! Ah! i work out 4 times a week, lift weight, cardio, plus 1 time a week kick boxing. I eat a lot of protein, veggies, fruit and drink a lot of water. When i see the resulte it really keep me motivate, i looove work out and eat healthy, my boyfriends are the same, fall in love the gym and it will pay off. Patience, hard work, strong mental, focus, know what you want. Hire a personal traineri, t's help, specially if you a beginner, or simply buy fitness magazine, my favorite one is OXYGENE. Keep a journal, take pictures and see your progress. Good luck.

Wow... went home this weekend. me and alcohol means PIZZA!!! but I did a little bit of gogo dancing in this club I've never been to. Not a SC, just a reg club with a pole. I was trashed and was like "I wanna dance, let me up there!" so I danced with this girl who said she never stripped before - she should, she had sexy ooozing out of her. I tried to do my fav trick, but the "stage" was waaaay too small. Then I had sex the next day for about 3 hours, which I think constitutes as a workout. I don't weigh any less, but I feel thinner. I cant find my tape measure though... lets see.... ok here we go... 35,32.5,37... le boo. I need to work out and not drink. back to trying to eat healthy!!

Ok, I am going to log in what I have done from Oct. 1 to Oct. 8. RoseLeigh and Kandie_Kitten are my buddies and I have been doing daily or near daily checks with them.
As I have stated before, I'm not trying to lose weight, but lose an inch to 1 1/2 inches from my waist and gain at least one on my booty.
I have logged in 3.35 hours of different types of cardio (I guess I could add another 1 1/2 hours for the at least ten 10 ten minute stage sets I did yesterday).
I have done 5 separate sessions of lifting weights, body resistance and pilates.
I have had really bad PMS all week. Even with extra B6 and diuretic (sp?) capsules, my waist has been at it's thickest at 25 or so in.
I am working on two non-dance related projects and working four SC shifts, so considering I am working 7 days a week, I don't feel too bad:)
Keep up the good work ladies.
Oh yeah, I don't really list what I eat, but I've done it enough times to Rose and Kandie that they know I'm a stickler for whole foods. I bring almonds, light mozzerella string cheese, dried fruit , baby carrots, oranges, balance bars et. to work with at least three bottles of water.
The most cheated this week was with the equivalent of one handful of blue tortilla chips and two french fries(my man came home w/ french fries. I ate 2).
I treated myself to Taco Hell today for all of my good work and progress. It tasted like fucking crap! I can feel it just sticking to the bottom of my stomach. EEEEeeewwww....
