I'm inspired by many SW'ers, namely B, Emily, Kaylinn, BrunetteGoddess, GingerLee, Alexxa, both CK's, LR, Djoser, Cally, britt, Corgan, Embyr, Jenny, and so many others at one time or another.

how could i forget you?! you inspire me to take care of myself! that sounds silly and weird, but you know what i mean. you inspire me to have me time because you intruduced me to lush, and you inspire me to always want to look my best.

and embyr is one cool girl! we don't always agree but she always has a strong point to make.

^^ wow, thank you!!! (*although i can't quite think of anything where we disagreed... i DO know I'm often reading your posts and nodding my head in silent agreement, even if I don't post...) I admire you not only because of your willingness to take a stance, but because of your strength to overcome some major obstacles in your life and face adversity... that's tough stuff... deserves to be commended. ;)

Blade and MCChristopher inspire me because of their choreography and how they let me in on their dancing. THEY DANCE GOOD. I'm on the right.

I am loathe to mention names, but there are some people on here that I really, truly look up to, not just "OMG YOUR SO COOL!"

I think they probably know who they are.

^^^^AAWWWW...I see you mentioned me, BG. I wub you, too.

I must say I am inspired by all the no nonsense people on here. I know I don't post pics of myself so I can't be seen as an inspiration because of "Hotness Level." ::) So I must say I am inspired by the intellectual ones who aren't afraid to tell it like it is and give great, caring advice both on their posts and in PM's (you know who you are).

Yes, I'd like to give a shout out to all the lovely ladies here who lead their lives in the exact way that they want to, whether they're vocal about it or not. Anyone who does that inspires me ;)

Sometimes with all the drama, it gets neglected, but I'm always impressed and a little surprised by all the women (and men) here who actually bother to CARE about the lives, problems and issues of other people, and will go out of their way to help solve them. That other thread that shall remain unreferenced notwithstanding, I think this is a good showcase of how nice we can be to complete strangers, just cuz. So I'm inspired by anyone here who has given (real) advice, done a favour or shown real concern for a complete stranger just because she needed it.

Feel the same way. There are several posters on here that have given some great advice to me and others and those are the people of who I am inspired by. They cause me to view things differently, change, work smarter not harder and many other things.

I'm too much of a navel-gazer to get very inspired by people, but I have much respect for many of the clever women here. Few people in my day to day life seem to have as much integrity as some of the ladies on this forum.

OMG, people named me!

This whole forum is inspiring to me, but there are certain qualities of so many posters that I wish I had, and I've learned so much from so many women on here. If I made a list it would be half the member list, but most of you guys who've taught me so much already know who you are.

Lotsa women on here do. Melonie (the resources in almost every department is astounding), Emily(the never give up attitude), Jenny(witty beyond belief),Cherry_Sin, Alexxa-------- I also admire a lot of what Bridgette, Paris, Tina, Velvet say... but I mean, thats just because I see a lot of their shit. There are TONS of women on here who inspire me with a simple post, yet I forget their names.. So, um all of you!

Everyone here who posts regularly inspires me at one time or another but those who actually stick out in my mind when I'm not on SW (meaning they really made an impression on me) are:

RoseWhite: People never have to explain to someone like you; you just KNOW.

Mast: Even with all the silliness, your ability to offer heartfelt, experienced advice is amazing; it's actually uncanny sometimes. You are wise beyond your years.

CO: Same as Mast's, without the silliness, although you do have a cute sense of humor.

PaintBaby: For reasons mentioned in another thread awhile ago. You changed my life and how I view myself.

DottieRebel: You are one of the most unique people EVER. You possess a color that makes a weary world tolerable.

AndyGirl, Tart, Paige, Lola Rose: Your strength is amazing and should be inspirational to all of us.

LadyJade & Callyish: You both have inspired me to look at the lighter side of things; especially myself. Any thread with you both in it is an instant slumber party.

Kitana: You are one of the most BAD ASS people I've ever spoken to. And the drink we've name after us will keep me warm on many a night out.

Latina Rose: You have made sure I will never assume that a beautiful "high maintenance" woman doesn't have depth, warmth and intelligence.

My little Mily: You just make me smile....always.

GCG, Darcy, and AussiePunk: You make me long to be "down under". Women like you are hard to come by.

Jenny: Your intelligence absolutely FLOORS me.

Lysondra: My fellow Izzard freak. Love that rapier wit and the fact that you wanted something and went for it.

There are more of you and you all make me laugh and cry and I thank the powers that be all the time for all of you and the fact that you allow me into your lives.

Lastly, there's someone who inspires me everyday in real life: SouthStBabe. You know why and I love you dearly. You are my friend, my confidante and my life is so much better for knowing you.

OK, now that I have a lump in my throat; I have to go.

I think the great thing about this thread is it shows us just how many women on this site inspire us. I couldn't list all the women who have posted something inspirational to me, or inspire me jsut by being who they are.

The beauty about recognizing inspiration is that it plainly shows you what you want out of yourself. And to me, realizing what you would like to do better with yourself is an inspirational feet in itself.

So kudos to all you women who recognize that and find something to aspire to!

Recently, there are a few members here who have inspired me to to take up art again, to not forget what I truly enjoy in my life and to hold onto the qualities in myself that I was always so proud of.

JayZeno, TOTH, Yek, you three especially. Thanks. :)

My weakness for that magic combination of brilliant and gorgeous; insightful and stunning; hilarious and jaw-droppingly hott -- all those women so insanely beautiful that you have to remind yourself to breathe and all the while suppress with every ounce of your might the urge to just roll over and wail at the moon in hopeless adoration, admiration and inspiration.

These are all my favorite girls of SW -- the thoroughbreds of the species. People wonder why I'm such a fanatical supporter of the site. Are you kidding? Where else are you going to find women even remotely in their class? These are the girls that I would spot in 30 seconds in the club with a wry knowing smile and then go on to make sure they knew that their intelligence and beauty; their resolute determination to succeed and their striking sense of generosity and thoughtfulness are all about to be rewarded in a way that they have always so richly deserved.

And here they are:

Hatshepsut - Amazingly smart, but even more than that, truly inspiring in her depth and breadth of knowledge. Wise, street-smart, sensitive and sympathetic. I've always read everything she's ever posted in both incarnations. Always will.

TOTH - Sweetheart, I've recently told you how you are such an inspiration to the dancers on this site, you have no idea. You have a special brilliance that is moderated by these hilarious flashes of off-the-cuff self-deprecation that can only make a reader burst out laughing, but then realize how that very sense of modesty results in a stronger appreciation of your sensibilities and talents.

Nina Daisy - ND is the kind of beautiful, diamond-sharp, level-headed gem that we would have to invent if she didn't already exist in all her glory. When I first joined the site, I simply could not stop reading her. When things went downhill in her personal life, she was not too proud to discuss here just how painful it all was for her. And those postings, which went on for months, made my heart ache in sympathy for her every time.

Pooka, my sweetheart - There is beautiful, and then there is the what-friggen'- planet-of-amazing-sexual-angels-did-you-come-from beautiful. Pooka is the queen of that planet. She's so beautiful she doesn't even know it. She thinks her cat is more beautiful (the cat really is wonderful). But what makes Pooka special is that she's got this quirky sense of humor, a wonderful streak of generosity and the kind of presence that brings a room alive. How she just doesn't drain all the money out of San Antonio overnight just baffles me.

Callyish -- Sweetheart, when we first met, you were just starting out, not at all sure of yourself, but I saw that look in your eye and said, "We need to talk." Every ounce of promise I saw in you then has steamrollered over every obstacle silly enough to stand in your way since. I am just so proud of you, I don't know what to say. I cherish our friendship and know that you have increasingly wonderful things ahead of you in life.

Kitana -- Sweetheart, where the hell have you been? You, Nic and Kat were the Three Musketeers on Blue, posting these totally inspiring, flat-out-honest, borderline raunchy (ok, not borderline) rebuttal posts that were a sight to behold and respect. You have been sorely missed.

Jenny -- Yeah, yeah, she's really smart. But what makes the difference in Jenny is that she treats her intelligence with the same utter disdain that she treats her beauty. You'd think she was an illiterate troll if you believed how she describes herself. But every time she taps on the keyboard, nothing but dead-on, concise, thoughtful and sympathetic words roll across the screen. She reserves her rapier wit and irony to focus on idiots like me who cross the line every now and then and richly deserve it.

Lysondra -- I've always liked you, but I like you even more now. Perhaps it's the new personality that comes with name, but there is a side to you that is now much more emancipated and free.

Mollyzmoon -- Molly is the inspirational self-improvement project that simply won't quit. She's the little engine that could. She shares her doubts and disasters in heartbreaking detail, but none of them derail her. She's also way more beautiful than she thinks. She knocked my socks off the first time she went brunette in a way I wasn't even prepared for.

Madmaxine -- Although we hear all these stories of guys doing her wrong, I am convinced that she is precisely the kind of girl that the right guys get addicted to. My theory is that she scares the hell out of most men, and the guys who have the inner strength and conviction to handle her will simply not let her go. Will simply not be able to let her go. This girl seriously rocks.

TM – What first impressed me most about you was your smile. And that’s really saying a lot because you have a body hot enough to melt the polar ice caps from 5,000 miles away. In the winter. You were so much fun at SFLV I and I can’t imagine that event without you.

Scarlett -- She’s so fabulous, let’s count the ways. She’s a redhead. She’s amazingly hott. She’s smarter than I am, even on my best days. She’s opinionated, direct, fair-minded and honest. She’s also protective and encouraging and strong enough to stand up to people who she thinks have behaved boorishly or inappropriately or are being obnoxious (ahem). I love this girl, the red-haired beauty with so much poise and self-confidence.

Brunette Goddess – Talk about survival stories! If Molly is the little engine that could, you are the little engine that damn well better. You are the cat, backed into the wall, who not only refuses to surrender, but becomes more dangerous by the minute. Such commitment, courage and persistence in the face of continued adversity is an inspiration to us all.

Britt244 – Britt is the girl who will post a long story of heartbreaking disaster, and then come riding through it unscathed. I think she has a special guardian angel. She’s another girl who is way hotter than she thinks (it’s a pattern here) and always gets up off the floor, dusts herself off, and drives on ahead.

Cameron – I confess, I fell in love with Cameron’s avatar so fast that it was hard for me to read her for a while. But what came through eventually was this persistent overriding sense of kinship, sisterhood, intelligence and generosity. Who else volunteers all the time and effort it takes to run an advice column on a site like ours? That is just one aspect of Cameron that makes her so special.

Katrine – OK, everybody knows that Kat just drives guys stark raving nuts, right? I mean, she’s like catnip to every guy within about a light-year. She's also the most honest girl I've ever seen and she brings perspective and experience to the site that is unequalled. She's also completely re-invented herself, kicked her bad habits to the curb and knows almost as much about sex as I do (well, I'm sort of a pro, in a way, so I don't count.) When we last turned SW into a country, she had more votes for President than anybody else. What else is there to say?

Bridgette -- So let's wrap up this list with everybody's role model, the uber-stripper that sets the high bar for everybody to aspire to, and who I consider to be one of the most endearing, crazy, fun, intelligent and resourceful dancers I have ever met.

I also have great admiration and respect for Lola Rose, Gingerlee, Susan Wayward, Venus Goddess, who was so kind and generous to me when I first joined the site, Kaylinn and Exotic Engineer.

I of course save the best for last, and risk annoying everybody with the cloyingly sweet way I talk about Nicolina, the girl I'm convinced, with each passing day, is the overwhelming love of my life. There are no words to even begin to describe the endless wells of talent, intelligence, integrity, generosity, kindness and inspiration she brings to me and everybody whose life she touches, even for a minute. She's an exploding star of sexual energy, with the body of a porn star, the imagination of the Marquis de Sade and the lingerie clothing budget of Paris Hilton. This is a girl who has her priorities straight. She's a brilliant writer, scientist, cook and dancer and a phenomenal and generous lover. I crave you more with each passing day, my most beautiful girl.

Oh Cam, you're so sweet. You have been super supportive to myself, and a lot of people on this site, and it is truly appreciated!

OMG you guys WTF?!

I don't even post here enough to deserve all this love. I mostly do a creepy-lurky-taciturn thing. Don't tell me you aspire to be creepy, lurky, and taciturn! :P

But seriously... holy hell, you guys inspire the living fuck out of me on a daily basis. Sometimes it's overpowering... I'll think, damn, I wish I could be as motivated as ____, or as confident as _____ , or as savvy as _____... but then I realize, shit, I have all the resources at my disposal to strive to be as ____ as _____, because these women show me every day how to improve myself with the stories they tell and the wisdom they share.

BG, Lena, Embyr, TOO... thanks. You guys inspire me, in kind, to be more adventurous, more resilient, more hardworking, more thoughtful. Goddamn.

(See what y'all made me do? I'm so overwrought that I can't stop swearing. Assballs cuntcrumb weinerpuddle.)

I avoided this thread for a while because I thought it was going to be just a popularity "omg i love you so much" type of thread. But I caved and glad i did.

Thanks to those who mentioned me.

As for my inspiration, well, a few names come to mind:

*Alexxa, she is who she is. period. take or leave. i love that quality. and, she's one smartypants.
*Susan also is someone who's waves i'll gladly follow. Mrs Wayward stands up for what she believes in, and writes about it. She also likes an airstream. I love that. ;)
*Lena is another individual i've had the honor of meeting and working with, and I find her hobostripperdom simply amazing. she lives the way half of my gemini wants to live. and I admire that so much.
*Katrine tells it like it is. no apologies. i love that.
*Dottie also lives a life I admire. kudos. her beliefs inspire me.
*Jenny because she takes Harry Potter to a whole new level of Hogwartism.
*TOTH for her ability to be on target with her words and writing; her genius inspires me.

But there are some of you that I just love: Emily of course, Cally, Lola, Lady Jade, Embyr, Pooka, PhillyVixen, Natalie FR Phil, saphire123456.

And of course, when i work, Emily and saphire inspire me. i think that's a trio of inspiration because i think we all inspire each other to stay motivated at work.

eta... sophiemarie also inspired me... inspired me to never ever let myself stay uneducated about anything lol.

P.S. My wife - you will always inspire me.

Lysondra -- I've always liked you, but I like you even more now. Perhaps it's the new personality that comes with name, but there is a side to you that is now much more emancipated and free.

That means a lot to me coming from you. I always liked you and wanted to be your friend but didn't want to come off as a 'gold digger' like I'm sure you get from a lot of girls trying to get close to you for those reasons. But I just wanted to get to know you. Sadly, I couldn't figure out how to do the former without appearing the latter; so it's good to know you actually do like me. :)

Also, I really do want to thank everyone that mentioned me. I honestly didn't think I'd get mentioned. I'm really glad all my past transgressions and drama in this community have moved on with my show of responsibility and trying to do my best. It shows that if you work hard and DO mean it when you reform, the girls (and boys) DO accept you, contrary to what some people might think *shifty eyes, cough*.

Thank you, stripperweb for forgiving my past sins. For that, I look up to all those who forgave me. (Including you Alexxa... and your little munchkin dropling).

I find almost everyone here motivational/inspirational in spurts. Like with the recent Britt personal roadblock she overcame, to gingerlee's illness triumph, as well as the current endeavors of the community as they care to share it such as Paige, and Lola, but really, I find myself learning the most about life through the posts of Casual Observer, VenusGoddess, Lena, Melonie, and the once: Rhiannon.

When it comes to the stripping-as-it-references-life-in-general, sex industry, and the success within I find myself inspired most by those who I end up rubbing shoulders with like Bridgette, Katrine, GingerLee, Exotic Engineer, Cameron Keys and oft Djoser and the ilk, since, it's of no personal offense, just I am often inspired to strengthen or change a thought process as a response to the posts of these types of people. Of course, no one embodies the inspiration of the personal success and overcoming personal adversity like The very eloquent Other Owner, whom inspired me so much, I pm'd him about it within the first few months of my membership here. I think it was even my first PM.

As it comes down to the all out Generality, I'd say I've made great friends with a lot of the people on here, and those that have transcended the board to inspire me for change in my thoughts and actions in my personal life and often give me something to think about throughout the day if not instigated a catalyst for permanent change will and always will be:

I really really would like to say a huge I'm sorry to every single person who said I'm an inspiration, and especially to tattoo goddess.

I was so out of line, and I feel so remorseful. I wish I could take back what I said. It's the worst thing I've ever said, and I am ashamed of myself, and embarrassed to be on a SINGLE inspirational/love list, let alone so many. I don't deserve that, but I do thank you.

I really have every right to be banned, and now, thinking on it with objectivity, I am suprised I am even here right now. I'm going to now try extra hard to deserve having my name posted in this thread.

I cannot even list the reasons I wrote that. I don't want to make excuses.

I just want to say I'm sorry, truely.

And I want to promise that from now on, I am committing myself to only posting with compassion and sweetness.

I'm sorry. I wish I could say it in person to everyone on this board, so it would really be apparent that I mean it.

I wanted to post this here, I feel like it belongs here, and I.... well. ..... I....... anyways.

but at the same time I don't want to derail the thread, so please, if you want to respond to me, do it via pm.

Very new here, years out of the game but stilll love to see what's happening in the world and cautious to post but...

If someone would give Miz Melonie a TV show,I think Wall Street would be forever changed...the woman is dead on and I respect her a lot.Gorgeous to boot!

LatinaRose to me,"personifies" everything a beautiful woman who takes care of herself in every way should look like and act,a class act!
I love her "tutorials" and so wish she would open her own studio for makeup, the world needs her energy and talent!

PookaShell, for one SO very young, you try very hard to be an independant woman and I know it's not easy...you are always so kind and funny and I think you have a fabulous future ahead of you!

Paige, because she is SO Much "her own person",very smart, and always shares what she knows and that's a lot!

Cameron, who really DOES give wonderful advice and again, would turn the world of cable TV on their ass if someone would give her a show ;)

Callish, who reminds me of a younger,cooler,me...you are such a pro and take what you do seriously and try hard to be "the best at what you do"...it impresses me frequently how focused you are.

I get such a kick out of many of the posts I have read and honestly think there are so many incredible woman on this forum!

Oh...and Guen, she made me a gorgeous waist-cincher and is beyond-talented! She is always sweet and considerate in her posts and I think she's a very happy person!

lola, i agree. i was reading people who i really like, like mast and too, having me on their lists and thinking 'wow.. i wonder what people think when they read me totally instigating and egging on the drama' :-[ i can't say i feel as bad as you, and i won't lie and say i do. i've been getting fed up with certain people on here calling me out to be a bitch so i decided to act like one (though i REALLY don't think i'm that bad). pretty immature of me. but i'm still on the fence as to how i feel about the whole thing...

Lizzybethers
Yekhefah
Jenny
Tart

Heh, I guess I don't post enough, but I am inspired by myself. :) I've been through a whole lot and am accomplishing a hell of a lot more than a lot of people my age.

Lizzybethers I know a bit IRL and she is very down to earth, sweet, and a supreme hustler.

Yekhefah is just completely awesome. Smart, driven, cultered, and mature. Let me just put it out there that she has my total respect.

Jenny is amazingly funny and too sharp. She kicks so much ass I don't know where to begin, actually!

Tart, though she isn't here, has been through WAY MORE than anyone should have to go through and has prevailed.

There are a bajillion other girls on here who are deservant of praise (which is why I am a bit ambivalent about these types of threads), and many more who are but who I'll never know. So props to evryone on here!
