I don't like this kind of thread because it turns too easily into a popularity contest.

But I have to say I'm inspired by something I read here everyday. Sometimes by people I know IRL, sometimes by people I've "known" a long time, and sometimes by people I don't even "recongnize". This is such a large community and there are so many awesome people here, there's no way to name everyone who's inspired me, even if I wanted to do it publicly like this. It would be easy to name a bunch of people who spend a lot of time here, but there are so many others who have inspired me just as much and they post so rarely or stay so briefly that I couldn't possibly remember their names. I'll just say this whole community inspires me and leave it at that :)

People that have had a wealth of information for me have been: Melanie, Paris and Pamela. They were also around to give me advice when I had an inncident where a dancer got angry w/ me and came back w/ two thug girls and a gun, just because I made more money on a stage set. This was when I first started posting on SW. Tina has awesome information about touring and working those rual clubs

But there are others: Bridgette (I got some awesome deals from her site), Yek (we also work in the 'other entertainment industry' so we can relate), LR (I've learned a lot more about mixing colors and playing up 'Latina Eyes'...I have them too),Teeth (she is frickin funny), Lena (because of her cool lifestyle. I wish I didn't have debt so I could do that a while. I have at least lived in forign countries for an extended period of time and worked) and I think it was Kailynn who posted how to have a sucessful night in the Hulstle Hut, THANKS SO MUCH FOR THAT! and Exotic Engineer, your comebacks to customers are so great. I use the one for when guys ask if you have a boyfriend: 'Yes, I have nine of them and they are locked in my basement', I get way more dances with that. I don't know how to say 'basement' in Spanish so I just say they are working in my bedroom or kitchen.

Oh and I envy the Canadian dancers, I wish I could get a base pay to just do stage sets. I tried marrying a Canadian to get dual citizenship ( and i was in love at the time), but it didn't work out.:(

There are many others as well.

There are so many amazing women on this site. Two that particularly stand out for me are Bridgette and Tina, who have always given me such excellent advice in past PMs in addition to threads and for having a great work ethic and being smart, sassy, and genuinely helpful. Of course, I will always have a special place for the LA SWfest crew from earlier this year, Yek, Tigersmilk, Embyr, Georgiapeach, Bella, etc). Hugs to everyone!

Kaylinn inspires me b/c she seems like that girl that everyone in the club really wants to hate but can't, b/c she's gorgeous, intelligent, has an amazing body and can walk on the floor and easily clean out the whole club...but unlike a lot of the uber-hustlers I know, she's not bitchy or snotty at all. And that's impressive. Just the impression I get from reading her stuff here. :)

GoldCoastGirl's clever, entrepreneurial spirit is inspiring. ;D And from reading her posts she seems really similar to me, only with a more consistently upbeat attitude--it's like things rarely get to her, there's hardly ever a situation she doesn't know how to handle. And she's well-versed in the law of attraction, which inspires me when I read her posts in hustle hut b/c while I completely believe in it, I haven't yet mastered putting it into action--and she has. (And I want a lapdance from her, lol...b/c I posted a thread awhile ago, asking for ideas for new LD moves, and I read her reply and thought "WOW that's hot; I'd love to see that in action."

Then of course there's MrChristopher and phillydj, who are amazing at what they do and are proof that truly good SC DJ's do exist! :P

There are a few ladies here that have impressed me with their intelligence, although I didn't always agree with them, they argued their beliefs well and the bottom line for me is I admire anyone who has passion and convictions (even if I don't always agree with the specifics). OTOH I'm not comfy with naming names since leaving anyone out leaves behind hurt feelings, but I know who they are.

Words cannot fully express how much I respect and care for you all. You have all helped me through more than you will ever know.

Okay, mushy feeling bullshit aside, here's some mentions:

Wifey: Thank you for being such an amazing, giving person. You're always there when I need you, and somehow you always manage to make me laugh... or at least put down the razor. ;) I wish I could be more like you.

Callyish: You're amazing. You're strong and confident and scarysexy as hell. And you defy gravity. That's just badass.

LatinaRose: Seriously, in my next life I want to have just half as much savvy and style as you. You boggle me.

Sxybrat: I heart you, kitten. You're one of the few genuine people I have had the pleasure to meet. Bless you for that. I wish we lived closer together, we could drive our matching Smartcars around town and weird everyone out.

Crow: You manage to kick ass and take names while still having hotness to spare. I hope to be half as sexy and just as ballsy as you someday.

Bridgette: I am convinced I will never understand a SC as well as you. You can walk into a situation and own it a second later. You rock heavily.

ExoticEngineer: Your humor keeps me going some nights when all I feel like doing is pulverizing the next moron that goes for a grab.

I know I've forgotten some. You're all in my heart, though. I miss you all and I can't wait to come back here on a more regular basis. And now, back to human anatomy (damn you, osteoblasts and fibroblasts. I hate you hard).

Rozz: You know I luff you Irish girl :) Your logic, sweetness and downright humbleness just make me want to be a better person. Your stubborn, issue laden, complicated and I love you to bits.

GReal. You are a very generous man, thank you. I'm glad I do something besides give you a hard time :)

Melonie, such a wealth of information. Thank you for sharing.

Bridgett, your humor and to the pointed-ness always makes me think. Thank you.

Hatshepsut- Wow, what can I say. Your smarts and wittiness is simply astounding.

All of our DJ's here.

You guys rock hard, I wish I had the time and energy to come work with you guys.

Cally: So sexy and cute. Bubbly personality, I wish you only good things sweetie.:)

SexyBrat. my make-up addict comrade!

Last but never least. Pamela. Your beautiful. Thank you for sharing your insight
Venus always shows us the way to good health and being a wonderful Mommy. Thank you.:)

There's quite a few more ladies on here that rock - You have reminded me that even old broads like myself can learn new things. You all keep me grounded and remind me on a daily basis that I am just me but still being just me I can do amazing things.

A special mention for FBR. Your work eithic is astounding. Thank you for always making me feel beautiful.

Well of course TOO mentioned me. He's intelligent, discerning and has excellent taste! Plus he's met me in person and he knows the difference between "bitchy" and "having a dry sense of humor". }:D

Basically everyone I admire from this site are people I've met IRL because what people type on-line (if it's patently false IRL), or post-whoring doesn't automatically equal admiration in my book. And just who decides the distinction between "telling it like it is" and "bitchiness"? But I digress...in no particular order:

Andygirl: She's incredibly intelligent, very well-read and has great taste in music. She's also currently juggling family, school and work and holding down the fort. The girl just rocks.

Bridgette: I've known her for years and just think she's one of the most resourceful and strong people I've ever met. The girl is also hella smart, fun as hell to hang with and it was a privilege to work with her the times I did. It's pretty amazing to watch her work the floor.

Susan Wayward: Genuinely intelligent, kind and pragmatic without being boring in the least. She manages to balance a strong and healthy home life with her work and genuinely enjoys what she does.

Katrine: Despite everything she's been through, she's open about her mistakes and has still achieved more than a lot of people I've met, strippers or no. She just keeps on keepin' on!

Emily: She treats this job like a real job and has the resources to show for it.

There are a few other people on here that I've met that I really admire too, but they very rarely post (among them Kermit210).

In terms of people I haven't met IRL, I'd add MadMaxine to the list. Her posts nearly always manage to be a combination of interesting, educational, wry, sad and funny all at once.

Miss Taylor also seems like a genuinely cool chick. She strikes me as easygoing and intelligent.

If I left anyone else out, like Bridgette said, it's not a popularity contest. And I'm a bit fried today too, truth be told.

"Inspires" and "someone I've enjoyed hanging out with" aren't the same thing always.

"Inspires" and "someone I've enjoyed hanging out with" aren't the same thing always.

Ain't it the truth! I'd say lack of inspiring companionship has been one of my main problems in the past little while. I need a muse.

OK, I'm going to add reasons why I chose the people I did as inspirations since most are. ( and add more)

Kaylinn: I love how compassionate you are towards other girls. You're very helpful, sweet, and handle yourself in a very mature fashion.

Cameron_Keys: You give great advice, and are not afraid to admit when you don't know something. You seem like a great friend, and I hope I get to meet you someday to meet the lady behind the screen name.

Teeth- Wife! You are one of those chicks that I think I'd have a blast with in person. You have the same views as me, and the same "I'm a dork, love me anyways!" attitude that is so infectious. My first girl crush mostly out of inspiration.

Callyish- You have been so helpful. You don't even know! You inspire me to work hard and fight for what I want.

madmaxine- Very wise beyond your years. You know how to be frank without being bitchy, and helpful to boot.

Katrine- You are your own person no matter what and you've become successful after dancing.

Mily- Such drive and passion to get where you're going, you won't give up until you're in Hawaii dammit, and I love it.

pookie- Reminds me of myself. We're both lucky, strong gals who packed out life up to live/d in Germany.

Paige- You're strength in dealing with your health and keep on pushing is what is inspiring me to keep going with my health problems as well.

GCG- I think Picareque summed it up perfectly. I have nothing to add.

Emily- I am so impressed with your drive and dedication to make money and be successful.

Djoser- You seemed to have a tough life, and I admire how you have overcome a lot of things and seemed to make "lemonade out of lemons"

Lysondra- Like others said. You picked up and moved across the globe. Very courageous and strong!

Embyr- Cool chick that reminds me of myself.

I'm going to cave, but only to join in the appreciation for Susan W, Katrine, Bridgette, Emily, Jenny, Scarlett, Nicolina, Lena...There are just some posters here who teach me so much. I feel like they are these knowledgable older sister strippers (which is totally not an age thing...I'm just a baby about life experience, and some people just have learned lessons I haven't quite mastered yet). Your advice and encouragement really has helped me, more than I can express. I am thankful, and I get all embarrassed about my ubitiquous tantrums...But the responses are not all on deaf ears, I assure you. I really am getting better because of the kindness and wisdom of these forums (though I do regret bottling shit up, only to spew it all over the internet, because that's kind of not appropriate either...so sorry for testing anyone's patience).

There are many other people here who I love to read as well.

Also, thanks TOO! I know I'm not an inspiring person, but it's nice to be encouraged. I appreciate it!

I don't really post enough to be to know by anyone but I do read everones post.

So I guess...

DarcyFoxx, because she's both beautiful but real and honest and I wish I could find such a balance in those things

and

Tart, because, to me, I think she's a lot like me only perfected and amplified.

and

Jenny, because I've been honing my sarcastic intelligence skills for yearsand she always gets it done in one post.

I would normaly stay out of threads like this but I figure if I post the plusses, these girls'll keep doin' what they do.

alexxahex. She's unappoligetic and sincere. She's an amazing mother and a knowledgeable soul. I think she's known as a hard ass, but I guess I see her as more of a compassionate being.

This is so sweet, Lola. Thank you so much for these words. They mean a lot to me! I see a lot of beauty within you as well. I love how I always get to see you learn and grow on here. While it may not be something that I would do, your previous apology in this thread is testament to your compassion as well. You're definitely someone I consider a "SW sister".

Other inspirational souls to mention:

Mast - he is a whirlwind of wit and self-awareness
TOTH - if I only had HALF of your writing talent and brains, well I'd still be half of you!
Embyr - so independent and just socially...cool. Plus she rides a BADASS bike. How many chicks ride bikes these days - and not on the back of their boyfriends'?
Bridgette - You're physically what I would want to look like if I could afford it and you can clean all the money out of a strip club in a few hours flat. Rock on.
Lysondra - another independent, outspoken and covertly generous lady with nice tits.
Madmaxine - You have been so sweet to me when I needed it. I love getting PMs from you because they are always helpful and full of good news.
OMG CHRISSY68!! She's my gemini twin and she has it all. I would love to have her hustle, her gorgeous hair and smile, and her stock portfolio. :P She's been so helpful and truly inspirational many times over. I hope I can return the favor in some way someday.
VenusGoddess - a beautiful woman, and great mother
Aussiepunkshocker - Super smart about holistic stuff and a cool as hell mom

Okay I'm running out of time here - I have to go but I could keep going on - thank you to all that I mentioned and haven't mentioned for making my time on SW interesting, informative and filled with excitement. I love all y'all!

Emily- She taught me sooo much from even before day one.:) And anyone that knows her knows she's just the uber stripper, very inspiring.
Chrissy- Dealt with me when I was a brat.:) Very nice girl, and also another great hustler!
Bettertheneden- she does so much in 24 hours a day (she doesn't post here much,) and she makes work awesome.
Britt-stands up for what she believes in.:) I like that.
Mr. Christopher- One of my alltime favorite djs, he is the best you could imagine, and he just seems to do everything so effortlessly. Plus he's the most wonderful family guy, whenever I grow up and get married I'd want a a guy like him.

^you know, i love you but i couldnt think of a reason to say you inspired me til we were on the phone today. and then i thought of another one too haha.. first of all i think its amazing that you moved to a diff state and stuck it out even though you weren't happy. and second not staying in a relationship where you aren't happy, i'm so proud of you for that!!

TOO- I mean I enjoy reading his posts because he's so articulate, but to me the guy seems to have accomplished so much and is still down to earth, like someone who hasn't forgotten where they come from. That's something that inspires me. No matter where life leads you don't ever forget who you are or where you come from. TOO's the man.
