Ninadaisy gets a racebike. After the stapler avatar, I don't wanna mess around... *sheepish smile* This is a Triumph 675 race model, and absolutely stunning.... I could see you ruling the coop on this baby...
http://www.pure-triumph.com/images/sce/Paul_Young_Daytona_675.jpg
Cherry_sin also gets a Triumph- but there was no way, after seeing your hair, that your bike couldn't be red. What could be hotter???? So I gave you a rather tricked-out Daytona (love the wheels & gold multispokes) and now you owe me pictures..... hehe

jhuka gets a BMW 1100R 75th Anniversary edition model... I Loooooove the gas tank, as it harkens back to the old bmw trackbikes... this baby's a beauty... and the boxer engine definitely assures others of the bike's cojones. *grins*

Teeth_of_the_hydra, I'm giving you 2 bikes... I saw this one and it reminded me of your tattoo!!! Plus, it's just so... AWESOME!!!! ;D This is a BMW RD custom, old-school. delicious.

Mollyzmoon, I think you'd like the newer version of the Honda 599, lovingly called the "hornet." This bike is fun as hell, gets GREAT ratings across the board, is practical and pretty easy to throw around, and that new shortened exhaust looks AWEsome.
http://www.mivv.it/public/foto_new_suono/H038_SUONO.jpg
Katrine is getting a BEaUtiful, *naked* gsxr-1000 k-5 (european only?? i've never seen one here)... basically, she'll kick everyone's ass, on the street, track, you name it. This bike has balls and lets people know it- but without the plastics, I think it's a bit more feminine and aesthetically pleasing, too.

Taylorlila gets a custom Suzuki SV1000 with a hAWt paint scheme and a gorgeous exhaust system.... check out the gold forks and Brembo brakes (brembo's are nice & help protect your butt at quick stops) wow- i would totally ride this thing.

Paris gets the 1098 Tricolore from Ducati. May I just say that this bike is the shit???? I don't believe it needs further explanation... it simply rocks my socks. Everything is carbon-fiber, light, testy, paint scheme is ltd. edition, termignioni exhaust system, ohlins shocks... yeah. yum.

And VenusGoddess gets the MV Brutale 910... with the WhiTE paint scheme... I've never seen it in white before, I love it!! The single sided swingarm (exhaust on one side vs. both sides) is so class, and the naked look is beautiful. Not only can this bike GO, but the mechanical design makes this bike pulls its weight against full-fairing machines any day.

Pretty_Penny gets a gorgeous, classic Ducati racebike... (but rare!!) the MH900e. I think this motorcycle is so stunning... the minimal fairings, the exposed L-twin motor, the 5-spoke wheels... *drool* very, very nice bike. Apparently the owner thought so, too, as it resides in his kitchen.... ;D

Sxybrat07 (hhehe weird that you posted, you were seriously next on the list... ) gets a Suzuki Gamma.... it's a 2-stroke (read: imported) racebike with a glammed-out custom paint-job... fun as hell, loud as shit, and playfully sexy!!!!

Wow... the Gammas are severely awesome.
Lestat1 gets one, too... This one is a 500cc lil' 2-stroke race model w/ the redbull kit and a sexy arrow exhaust... I love the single-sided swingarm here. Tight little bike.
This is what a 2-stroke sounds like... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=emTT3bX-ug4&mode=related&search=
Too bad they must now be imported because of emissions standards. poo ::)

GoldCoastGirl, because I've seen you look great in blue... I decided a custom Monster (sorry if people have seen more than a few monsters- they are just all so different!) would be appropriate- this one has 900cc, an orgasmic dry clutch *with sexy red clutch cover* brembo brakes and all sorts of nifty goodies... i LOVe the red frame!!!

Optimist, because I trust her to handle a tricked-out literbike (liter= 1000cc), gets the DesJardins Honda GC-1000... with more wood, chrome, titanium/magnesium than one could ever want... This bike is DEFINITELY a one of a kind. The seat is super-high quality, too... Ohlins shocks/forks, triple clamps, handlebar risers... wow, just wow.

xdamage, the Motoczysz 990 belongs to you. No one has one, no one will, and you'll blow everyone's mind. You deserve that. It both harkens back to older race models, and is completely innovative with a twin counter-rotating crankshaft engine. (as well as every other goodie you could think of.) awww I'm glad!!!! Depending on how much the paint job was/year of the bike, I'm guessing less than 12k? Looks like a Monster s2r (800cc) or s4r (1000cc), but even a 2005/2006 will be less than 10 grand... so, factoring a paint job- yeah, definitely between 10-12k. If you got a Monster 620, say, a 2001, w/ the paintjob, then you'd only be looking at 7,500.
ViolaStrings needs a bike that states very simply, "I'm the shit." :P Something that finds the line between agressive/sporty and intimidating and plays around in it... The Kawasaki prototype (it's not even out yet!!!) ER600 could work very well. Too bad it won't come over to the States... boo... Europe gets all the good bikes. I love the red frame and white rims...

I was scared at first, too... but more excited than anything. Once I felt comfortable that I wouldn't DRoP it (after a LOT of parking lot practice) there was traffic to contend with... so I learned how to ride on the streets & got comfortable around 2 a.m. and in the weeee hrs of the early morning so I wouldn't have to deal with cars. It helped a lot... I was able to get up my confidence, practice on some familiar routes, become a really good night-rider, and slowly integrate more heavy traffic scenarios and things like stoplights, hills, intersections, and eventually freeways. Although you can't always choose your surroundings, you can SOmewhat control the situations- like, learning to lane-split... I just started by doing it w/ 2 cars at a light, kept adding more and more cars until I grew comfortable enough to do it anywhere (and everywhere when necessary... like, L.A. freeway traffic on Friday at rush hr... BLAH!) :P
These days I feel SOOOOO much safer on the bike than in a car... I can rev the engine to warn people I'm coming, honk the horn if something fast happens, swerve, stop, accelerate... just so many more options. Gets me there faster and saves me gas $$$.... which I then dump back into the bike to make it pretty and more fun. ;)
Tina, because she is always on the road, needs a comfortable, practical and reliable sport-touring machine with lots of luggage capabilities... something that won't contribute to butt-hurt from lots of freeway miles but will still provide entertainment in the twisties. The Kawasaki ZZR 1200 would work very well in all these capacities... rather pleasing to look at, too!

LoveSexMoney needs something fun and unique... a 1996 Honda NSR (yay 2-strokes!) 250 MC28 SE with Blue Fox paint scheme (SO PRETTY!) should do the trick... This little baby was meant for the track, with a beautiful exhaust system, new steering damper (prevents wobbles), steel braided brake lines... pretty lil' machine!!!! The big boys may win in the straights, but a bike like this kicks everyone's butt in the turns...

Jay Zeno, I was pondering a BMW, and in real-life, I could see you on a bimmer... classy, sporty, sensible, but powerful. But this is fantasy, right? So you are getting a Benelli 900 Tornado!!! I luuuuurve this bike... so pretty... not to mention the "Benelli" kinda pops at ya... :-0) I've liked Benelli ever since they came out with a six-cylinder bike way back when. They were trying to out-Japanese the Japanese, which wasn't too awfully smart, but they did push the envelope. Honda came out with its six-cylinder CBX a few years later.
Budai, for you, the Paul Smart bike. Paul Smart was the prototypical knee dragger and, as I remember, was the one-man show keeping the Suzuki team in the hunt in the races of yesteryear.
You know what bike fascinated me? The Honda NR750. Oval pistons. Fuel injection. Two connecting rods, eight valves, per cylinder.

I know he likes Suzukis, so I won't deviate too far.... Here is his new '07 GSX-R Super Sport 1000, set up for a race in Georgia... she's rather purty (and ... stacked? yannow, for a bike... hehe)

GenWar gets a gorgeous Hayabusa. 1300cc of power, some well-placed (but not ostentatious) chrome parts, and a really good paint scheme. *ahem* don't drop it... hehe. Budai

Budai, for you, the Paul Smart bike. (and appropriate, too!) This Ducati, obviously based on old-school racers, is not only aesthetically VERY pleasing (hehe and aerodynamic... if i rode this I'd pretend I was a rocket) but has 1000cc and some horses to spare. Not too shabby.
:hat: Hats off, EmbyRRR8) !
This is as thoughtful and stylish as any thread I've seen on SW. After the recent thunderclouds over LR, this is sunshine and a fresh sea breeze.
Your attention to detail and precise matching of each :female:and :male:with the right machine was/is a virtuoso feat. :worship:
You da bomb, Ducati Hottie!
P.S. I'm diggin' my bike! My testosterone level spiked on sight...

^^^ thank you so much!!!! I'm happy you like it (and the silly thread in general ;D ), very cool of you to say so.
Here's some more of your bike- I saw it at ProItalia in Glendale when I went for a lil' Eye-talian bike party this weekend- I'd lub it more if it weren't too heavy for me!
This is the actual Paul Smart's historic victory...

as he is these days, aboard his old bike:

and taking the new model out for a test!

i think motorcycling history is really romantic. I watched "world's fastest indian" and cried my eyes out. :-0)

"World's Fastest Indian" was one underrated, cool movie, and Anthony Hopkins did a great job. I was thrown off by the title, assuming it was a movie about Billy Mills.
After they got into the movie a bit, I started remembering the name "Burt Munro," although the drama of the bike LSR wasn't something I was familiar with at the time. It was quite a revelation and great to think back on those times.
The drama that I remember was Gary Nixon on his lone Triumph going against the Harley racing machine, and Dick Mann who often was part privateer part sponsored, taking on everybody. Nixon was a magician, Mann was a blue-collar everyman hero, Yvon duHamel was a wild child on two wheels, and Gene Romero was quiet competence. There were dozens of viable motorcycle brands on the market, and you learned to wrench your own if you wanted to keep riding. It was a really fun time.

^^^ is that covered in the BBC docu on the overall history of motorcycling??? THAT is supposed to be fantastic- I have yet to see it. "Faster," about the GP, was terrific, and "the Doctor, The Tornado, The Kentucky Kid," as well as "The Continental Circus (in French)" for which I need to find a better dvd player. I WISH racing was more competitive... (more viable teams) rather than the "Big 4..." But after Ducati/Casey Stoner's win this season, I believe it is (at least for now) a "Big 5..." Finally!
some more bikez for de menz....
Will gets a dyna-bobber... I really like the semi-military styling for this, I think it works well- esp. the exhaust... I'd tell ya more about it but the guy who built it is Swedish or something and I can't read a damn word on the site.

MojoJojo... I believe this is a bike that either man or monkey could love... the BMW R 65... (1981) I looooove the cafe'd-out aesthete they gave it.

Phil-W can look rather sporty on a very metallic Triumph Thruxton... GORGEous classic bike.

and Silverback gets a HOT Ducati chopper... inverted Showa forks, 900cc, brembo brakes, 5' stretch! This is the "Coppia 1."

big_daddy would look great on a Honda Rune. I don't see many... err, ANY, around, though I thought it was quite something for Honda to pull out all the stops and try something really different. A flat motor with 1800+cc of power... eep!!! This is the 2004 model- I believe they were only in production for a year or two. Too bad... really interesting bikes, if more concept-oriented.

I saw the Rune in the showrune ... errr, showroom. Friend I was with salivated and flat wanted it but didn't have 25K to shell out. I thought it was ... well, I have more basic tastes.
This is my most favoritest thread of the past many months. Embyr, you're a goddess.

How about a special bike for Embyr?
The MV August F4 CC. Carbon fiber and titanium. Almost 200 mph estimated top speed. Hot, sleek, and at the top of the techno game. And it's black, like she wants.
Price tag: $133,000. In our fantasy bike world, you're worth it, Embyr.

I'd award you the Dodge Tomahawk as a hideously expensive motorcycle, but I hate it. How do you even turn the thing?
