I love the pink jacket, but uh, those chaps are a bit much. Any cool helmets?
hahah i agree w/ the "bit much..." i was just showing you what the chick was covering up by sitting. I just wear jeans when I'm not in a full suit.
YEah!!! lots of pretty helmets lately... i got this gorgeous heart helmet for my little sister, who just got her permit! (hehe that makes me, my father, and my sis! how awesome...)

Exotisch23, you get a BMW F650 GS... This bike'll take you anywhere you desire, in AWESOME style... the enduro-ness will allow you to ride street, track, dirt, canyons, whatever, with great ease. Luggage rack in back, powerful 'boxer' engine, clean undertail exhaust.... Have fun!
Hey thanks. ;D
My boyfriend has been bugging me to get a bike so we can go riding together (dirt bikes). He's already got a nice ktm.

Actually, I'm really sad you won't be in Vegas when I go next month- that woulda been awesome to meet you, and I'll have the bike there. Some other time, hopefully!
rozz, for you, an Ecosse Heretic. Beauty, power, loving design, lotsa carbon fiber, ohlins shock, brembo brakes, blah blah blah assume it has every goddamn amazing accessory you could imagine... and I Looooove the exhaust. The red frame and little tail-piece tip just make me wet. I first saw this in the Robb report (re: luxury $$$) moto-mag and kept it open for DAYs. Did I mention it has over 1750cc? http://www.ecossemoto.com/images/company_16.jpg_1
twisterinAZ needs something lighthearted and fun... but obviously still with the ability to be taken seriously. The BMW Hp2 is whimsical yet powerful... take it in the roads or on the street and listen to the Akrapovic exhaust roar! Did I mention how PerFect this is for the AZ desert... fun blue frame/rims, ohlins shock, and 1130cc... more power in this SuperMotard than most streetbikes DReam of.

Ooh yay Bonnie gets a bike :D I would actually really love to get one but at the moment I have no money nor knowledge. I need a "bikes for dummies" book or something. I don't know ANYTHING about bikes, how to get a license, nothing.
The video... hm. Well done and haunting, but is that legal anywhere? I would've been pissed if I were in any of those cars lol unless he's a cop or something. IDK, bikes are dangerous and pulling that...
But, thank you for picking a bike for me even though I'm a newb and for looking at my myspace! :)
My dad has a reeeally old motorcycle that I've never seen him ride but he used it back in the 70s or so. I'll have to find a pic. That would be fun to fix up.

09-26-2007, 01:20 AM
^^ yes, lane-splitting (er, sharing, as is the nicer term) is indeed legal in many states... like CA, although it is suject to certain rules, like not riding 15 mph over traffic, etc... ;D It is NOT legal in NY & some other states. I would actually check the local laws in Oregon just to see... it can be very scary as a biker to be casually going through a wide-open spot and have someone BEEP at you for no reason (so you think) because they are not aware that what you're doing is within the law.
But yeah, i wanna see what your dad has... ;)

Ducati's GP (grand prix) bike that contributed to it's win in MotoGP this season. The bike is 65k. :O and absolutely stunning... The white stripe on the fairing signifies the "RR" race model... just think more expensive ducati goodies.

heheh you only "steer" motorcycles at super-low speeds. Anything else is called "countersteering...." i.e.... you lean like a mofo. ;D To turn a bike, you twist your head and LOOK through your turns, and somehow your body just follows and your bike leans. If done REALly well, you look like these guys...

So to reciprocate, I thought of a horse for you!
The Morab. The spunk, elegance, and endless endurance of the Arabian crossed with the versatility, strength, speed, and power of the original American horse, the Morgan. A total rock and roll horse, these creatures are so charming and intelligent---also excellent for petite women! This fearless horse will never quit on you, and will go anywhere.
