Well one would hope so.
I sold my Harley a number of months ago and am walking so I have no real input here other than to say I think the thread is fun with her assigning a bike to a personality.
Go Embyr.

Gretchen The Bimota YB6- power, control, and (i think) adorableness in a small package MEAnT for leaning into those turns on the track. http://www.infoservizi.it/bimotaclubitalia/img/colyb6.jpg
How ironic. My turning (well...more like drifting) has gotten me into some major trouble lately :) That definitely is a cute little bike
This thread is sooooo making me wish I knew how to ride. I've been thinking about taking a RiderCourse to get my M1 for a few years now. I live at the base of a really neat canyon and I can hear the bikes riding up and down it at night since it echos loudly.
gah....droooool.

^^^ OooOhH you should SOOO take the msf course... it is SO very worth it- i would LovE to ride with ya!!
sooo.... Mr. Sh0t was displeased with his gsx-r, because apparently he already HAS a hayabusa and obviously does not want to downgrade. Very understandable. So instead, two options... the new 2008 b-king... same hayabusa engine... little sportier. I included the specifications because you're technical and all.

Second choice... a POLICE model busa... equipped with radar and all the goodies. Scare the shit out of unsuspecting squids. The AcTuAl police busas are only in oklahoma... but this one is a little spiffier. hehe. & I'm sure we can ship it. I actually think I like this bike, and normally I'm not a fan.

Jay Zeno I had to!! I know it's not a bike, but I saw this lil' piece of innovation and decided you must have it. You know... if only for e-bay auctioning purposes. ;D
It's a DesmoHarley!!!! A harley engine with Ducati heads.. uhh... find a mechanic willing to work on THAT!!!!
http://thekneeslider.com/images/desmoharleyenginesm.jpg
A police bike with nitrous, riiiight.
To be fair, the other GSX-Rs aren't downgrades at all, just different philosophies. The 1000 is same price of the Busa, for example. Sometimes more expensive in certain years(06).
The B-King is the sad progeny of the older Suzuki Boost King, the bike I was telling you about. Except...no boost, hence "B-King" instead of Boost King. But don't worry about that...
The new B-kings are an interesting bike, maybe that would be a better companion. Suzuki gave up on the original a few years ago but in 2004 they started talking about doing a naked bike based on the Boost King idea but without the turbo.
I know about the Okhlahoma Highway patrol Hayabusa's, they have 3 of them. The cops got sent to a racing school out our way.
My heart be still. I may be about to commit sacrilege:
A dual sport is interesting. But it makes perfect sense as a companion to a 220mph highway monster

^^^ A BUELL????? sh0t, that IS sacrilege. ;D
alright, i know i still owe people bikes (sorry sirona, mr.c, etc etc i WILL get around once I can find stuff I find workable!!) but I must share... the new Ducati 848 is out!!!!!! err, not OUt out, but unveiled!!!! I'm stoked. Not for the 848... it'll be too tall for me, but because it means 749 prices will plummet. ha.
