What quiz Kat? I didn't see it.
on skellie-girl's myspace page she's got her results for the "What beautiful anorexic are you?" quiz she has taken:
What beautiful anorexic are you?
http://images.quizilla.com/C/CA/CAN/canttastebeauty/1140482526_ionAnamoss.JPG
You are a Dark anorexic like Kate Moss. You will do anything to stay skinny even if you have to abuse your body by doing drugs or smoking cigaretts. You don't hide the fact that your anorexic but you also don't wave it around. People know you are anorexic but they'd never say anything... You're very mysterious and that keeps people from talking with you but always looking at you.
Pretty obvious she's very sick.... poor girl.

I don't even know myself...she's just got cartoonish qualities that are kinda cool.
She's got big tits but she's also arching her back and making them look as huge as possible. If she had a "normal" non-posed pic, she'd probably look less freakish.

I don't think its so bad to like this figure. Especially for strip-club goers. Sometimes you want to see something out of the ordinary and the exaggerated boobs, exaggerated thinness are exactly that. Now if that were some one's everyday standard of beauty, obviously that's a bit warped.

OK I'd agree with this last part. And for me, it's not a standard. It's just kind of...interestingly hot.
I also think I like it because she obviously likes to show off what she has, and that's hot too.

... How about this.... I consider myself VERY qualified. I've looked like that before, at 89 lbs, minus the tits, of course. I've been bulimic for 9 years and have had stages where anorexia played a large role as well and thinness was the overwhelming drive in life. Does this chick have BBD because of her tits?? Perhaps, maybe not. Does she have BBD because of her RIDICULOUSLY unnatural thin figure?? Perhaps, probably so. Not all anorexics, bulimics, bulimarexics, etc. HAVE BBD.
Body Dysmorphic Disorder means that you THINK you're much bigger/fatter/more imperfect than you are. Some people w/ eating disorders KNOW they're skinny as shit, they just still strive to be skinnier.
Regardless of having BBD, does this girl have an eating disorder of SOME KIND??
Yes.
Why? Because she is starving. Plain and simple. She may starve, purge by overexercising, eat small amounts and vomit, or just eat 300 cals a day... whatever her strategy, she's got SOME type of ED.
is it MOrally abhorrent you think she's hot? no, whatever floats your boat. It's an interesting body, for sure. Pleasurable, or even CAPABLE of pleasure... i doubt it. After one's body weight drops so low... orgasms are impossible. Just a thought.

Strange that I had a feeling you had been down that road :( Treat yourself well Embyr, I could spend dozens of pages here talking about just that, and why you deserve it, but I guess that would be off topic, so...
I've had a couple of drinks (where a couple means more then two), so I guess I'll get myself into trouble again...
Honestly, even though I didn't write it, all I could think of was she has a body image issues. It's not a crime, people have them, it doesn't mean she is a "bad" person, or unlovable, or evil, or anything else, but it also doesn't mean it's not a problem that she should face when she is able.
I also don't think anyone needs to be a board certified psychologist to notice, for the same reasons they don't need to be a physician to diagnose a compound fracture. It's fairly obvious. The purpose of degrees is not to prevent people from using common sense, but to learn more then is common, yet... when someone is this thin it's common sense and clear to the vast majority that she has an eating disorder.
I also have nothing against plastic surgery, but this just doesn't look good on her to me. It looks like a bad job, out of proportion with her body, and possibly so over inflated there are health risks.
I don't begrudge anyone for focusing on their appearance, but there are extremes ya know, where it crosses lines from being reasonable and healthy to being obsessive. I definitely feel she crosses that line.

^^^ hmm.... you bring up an interesting point, actually...
i believe the only person who is morally WRONg in this debate is the plastic surgeon. While I'm far from being a good judge of what makes a 'good' boob-job, I have watched enough nip/tuck to know that there's usually some degree of psychological evaluation in an initial consultation before surgery... uhhh... what the hell happened here? how the hell did this chick make it onto the operating table? And aside from the obvious psych problems/bdd, she's a medical malpractice suit waiting to happen.... none of her vitals would check out for putting her under... wtf?????

Yea, but who is to judge what is unscrupulous in a boob job scenario. Some people think getting one at all is unscrupulous.
Implants seem to be accepted more and more amongst mainstream society. Even on other forums where self-esteem is advocated, I have seen people in acceptance of it, and rooting it on even. Who's to say in 10 years it won't be accepted mainstream to have a frickin' gargantuan (I'm talking size mega H or something) set of hooters.
She's too much where and when?
I'm thinking of a set of boobs as large as the good year blimp... now that will be something to see! *stripper runs out to see if she can have it done*
I hate to ruin my reputation and sound shallow for a moment, but I gotta say that's pretty much what I've always wanted: an anime looking woman in the flesh.
Cosmetic surgery evens out the genetic lottery playing field.
Edit--
Ok. I must be missing something. What exactly is so wrong with her body? She looks like just an athletic and lanky type of chick with large implants.
Maybe we have gotten so used to obese people, slender people seem freakish now?

It's not the size that's the problem, or the fact that she has them... it's the fact that for someone with her VERY low bodyweight, low heartrate, blood pressure, and possible electrolyte deficiencies pose problems for being a candidate for ANY surgical procedure.

Nothing wrong w/ having a particular body fetish- as long as you are AWARE that what you are getting is not achieved naturally...(i'm not talkin' about the boobs, that part is fairly obvious) and no, it's not "athletic," or "lanky." it's an E.D. At least in this case.

are we talking about her or her friend? Her friend looks like she may have a problembut we are talking about the girl in the link. You can't assume someone has an eating disorder because they LOOK unnaturally skinny. And coming from someone who WAS both anorexic and bulimic i believe that i am a VERY qualified BUT not qualified enough to make fun of it or say it is a definate.
I don't find either attractive, esp her friend. I think they look unnaturally skinny but it is not my place to start throwing out what disorders i think they associate themself with.
BDD is more then just thinking you are larger or less attractive.

i say the size of her tits are obscuring the very, very small size of her body. Look at her clavicle above the hello kitty shirt. look at her writs. the angle helps to hide it, but you really can't. I stick w/ my original assessment... and it has nothing to do w/ the size of her tits.

I guess for me it comes down to a simple thing. I don't really care too much about what others do with their bodies because 1.) It's not my business, and 2.) I don't have time or the interest to worry about everyone else.
That said, for the people I do care about, I'd encourage them to be moderate as compared with what is biologically normal. I'm very much a believer in gray scales, and on a big gray scale, somewhere between extreme obesity and extreme anorexia there is a middle ground, which is what I'd encourage my loved ones to aim for. In other words, starving yourself to stay thin is as much an extreme as eating without limits, and I don't see either leading to happiness or good health. I'm also not attracted to the extremes, and am attracted to the middle weight ranges and body shapes.
As for plastic surgery. Again, it's grey to me. There are extremes, and there are middle grounds, and I won't discuss it in absolute, all or nothing (i.e., its ALWAYS good or ALWAYS bad) terms because my world isn't about simplistic all or nothings. I think it's appropriate some times, sometimes less so, sometimes very much not. I think some people go in with eyes mostly open, some less, and some not at all. Each person's case is different.
Mr Hyde
09-30-2007, 04:45 PM
Did you look at any of her other pics? The one in the playboy apron you can't see much clavicle at all. That's not anorexic. Maybe BDD, I don't know, the only speculation you coud use is the tits, but I'll stand on this..if she had normal tits, she'd just look like a fit girl. I don't see anorexia there. Anorexia looks unhealthy, she looks healthy...with tits bordering on freaky.

Different people wear weight differently. My collarbones pop out more at 146 then some pictures I've seen of diagnosed anorexic girls and I am not skinny in the slightest. In any case I'm sure her BMI is below the cutoff for anorexia at least if you subtract boob weight.
Not all skinny girls are eating disordered, and not all eating disordered girls (let's not forget guys can get this too) are skinny. But I think it's *fairly* safe to say this girl's got issues.

I didn't express my opinion which is from my true self. I only stated a rationality which exists.
My opinion is that breast implants are unnecessary for the person. Situations and times and environments may cause one to think they need or want them. But from someone who is truly well-defined, one who has high self-esteem and belief in themselves, and who is sensible... no reason for them. The girl in the pic... I don't see her as being anyone but a girl who wants to get attention, or money, or fame, or something she thought she didn't have before she got implants. Same as if you get implants at all. Big ones or small ones.... the reasoning behind getting them is usually similar.

FWIW, this is a fake profile with pics stolen from a woman who sells on eBay. She has a cult following and there are dozens of fake profiles on various websites. She is pretty well known among big boob fans, so I don't feel bad "outing" her, but she goes by Rainy or Tatihana and she is "kgmurphy112" on eBay. She had a small website at one time but never did anything with it. The point is, that's a fake profile and any pro-anorexia or other offensive messages on that MySpace do not necessarily represent the views of the person in the pictures.
And I also think her body is very hot.

ok. When i still was active in the disease i accused many people of it. After recovering i believe that from just the looks of someone, it really is unfair.
Woah.... WHAT???? (I must respond to this... that's f*cked up....) You're saying that because of my own struggles and experience with bulimia, I subconsciously project my disorder onto others and therefore cannot possibly have a rational, non-biased viewpoint on which to make a case???
I don't have BDD. I see, love, and accept my body for what it is, I've come light years from where I was in the past, and I have never once accused someone of having an eating disorder who didn't have one. That may have been your experience, but it wasn't and isn't mine. I have said that there is a "distinct possibility" that this girl has eating problems. I never said "I swear to god this chick is anorexic/bulimic" because no one can know for sure. Does she look naturally thin? No, I don't think so. Could it be intense working out... perhaps. Drugs? maybe. I don't voice definites because it's impossible to do so. After seeing the e-bay pics, it MAY just be a weird-ass angle that makes her look more sickly than she is in real life.
But you do not have a right to tell me I lack a rational psychological base on which to propose/suggest ideas, because I'm "unhealthy myself, so I therefore must have a complete inability to see others for what they are." You don't know me or my history, and it's not your place to make psychological assessments based on your own.
