Re: PDX ladies
Here's a listing of my favorite places in Portland. Of course, and as always, your mileage may vary...
The Iron Horse Restaurant - Tex-Mex food, awesome service, lots of choices (including vegetarian - the mushroom enchilada is spicy and yummy), pint margaritas. And it's within walking distance of Sellwood's Antique Row.
Backspace - Internet cafe and art gallery, in Portland's Old Town. Comfy-est couches anywhere. Kinda a Goth-y or geek theme, great place to hang out for an afternoon and people-watch. If you're there late, two doors down is Someday Lounge, operated by the same folk, a night club with the same geek-y vibe. And the food is all vegetarian or Vegan.*
Powell's City of Books - there's several Powell's stores around Portland, but when I think of Powell's I'm talking about the flagship store at 10th & W Burnside. A full city block, four floors, multiple rooms - each section is basically a complete bookstore unto itself.
The big shopping (and people-watching) districts are SE Hawthorne, and NW 21st and NW 23rd. Lots of bars, cafes, and small and large shops. If the weather's nice, great place to walk around and kill an afternoon.
There's a bunch of nightclubs and such downtown - Greek Cusina and XV are two spots I've been recently. But I'm not much of a clubber. If I go out, I'm usually going to a strip club...
Those are the must-sees as far as I'm concerned but I can give better options if I know where you're staying and what you're interested in. F'rinstance the tours of the Portland Underground tunnels is fun, and around Halloween they give ghost tours...
*I'm not vegetarian - definitely an omnivore. But I'm just listing the options for a visitor about whom I know next to nothin'. And Portland is pretty vegetarian-friendly.

Re: PDX ladies
What are you looking for?
Masu -- my hands-down favorite sushi restaurant in PDX. Great rolls, non-sushi options, best presentation in the city
Holocene -- great dancing every night of the week and fancy drinks. also next to a cool strip club, Sassy's
Pix Patisserie -- there are three locations in Portland. they make tiny and incredibly rich desserts, all based off of french classics. not too pricey and they're open until 2 am on weekends.
Reel 'm Inn -- if you love greasy-ass fried stuff, go here. the best fried chicken ever in a dive bar and super cheap. (it's also about ten blocks from Pix).
Before you get into town, check the Portland Mercury (portlandmercury.com). Great live acts come through Portland every weekend.
If you're there the first Thursday of the month, check out First Thursday, which is an art walk in the close-to-downtown Pearl District. All of the art galleries stay open late, serve booze, and debut their exhibits for the month. The Portland Art Museum opened a new modern art wing about a year ago and their collection is impressive.
If you need recommendations for a hotel, the Hotel Jupiter is great. It's very cheap and while not downtown, it's very close by and in a sweet hipster neighborhood.
Strip clubs
Mary's -- unique and legendary. in the heart of downtown.
Acropolis -- if you eat meat and/or love beer, go here! (amazingly cheap and delicious cuts, 50+ beers on tap, and four stages with lots of hot ladies)
Devil's Point -- it might be out of the way for you, but it's a great rock n roll strip club with 3-4 girls a night and amazing stage work.
Portland also has a fantastic airport. Free wireless, bookstores and good beer/local food both inside and outside of security. :)
Man, I miss that place! I'll be back the first weekend of December or so.
