I tried to stay in L.A. through December, but can't take it. Another strip trip is in the works, and it looks like Wyoming. Whatcha know, ladies?

I'm not a lady, but I stopped for a look at Clown's Den outside of Cheyenne lately. It's still a rustic hole with nothing between it and the horizon, with a weird kind of clientele, but the furniture was upgraded, the pole didn't look like it'd fall out of the ceiling, and the lap room was completely redone. Probably coincidentally, the lap room was being used, too. I thought prices were sucky for the dancers, but the quality of dancers was much higher than when I was there last, so they must be doing something right. I guess.
For the love of all that's holy, please don't go to Al's in downtown Cheyenne. If it's still open. Unless you want a laugh. Or possibly crushing depression.
hi Yek,
I looked at one WY thread that might be helpful. I was (and am) thinking about going there, but am going to give things one lost shot here in Spain/Portugal before I call it quits. I PM'd you.

Thanks, guys! I'm mostly looking at Rock Springs and Green River for convenience. Know anything about those places?
Northern Dreams in Casper is really cool. They will book you in with a weeks leadtime. Just call and ask for Ed after 6. The club is kinda divey but fun and the DJ's really help you make money. The weeks of the 1st and 15th are best here. The Motel 6 here has weekly rates and you can have your cat.
Casper is on I-25 a straight shot south of Billings and 4 hours north of Denver. From LA just take I-15 to I-40, go to I-25 in Albuquerque, and go north to Casper.
Rock Springs is apparently pretty good money, a bunch of girls from here drive out there regularly. Stage fees are pretty cheap, something like 10 dollars at 4pm, and then gets progressively higher. I *think* that either the Millenium or Astro offers dancer housing, though I'm not completely sure on that.
Dancers are not the best quality overall, so if you can hustle and look hot, you'll do well. Customers are mainly blue collar, oil workers and such.
ETA: If you DO end up heading the Rock Springs way, let me know. I've been meaning to take a trip up there to check things out, maybe we can meet up! :)
Excellent! Thanks much, guys!
I just PM'd you again.
The club in Green River is a hole. Stay away from it.
There are two clubs in Rock Springs. They are about a block apart, although the street turns round a corner. One is the Club Millennium and the other is Mike's Astro Lounge. Both are topless clubs. Rock Springs is a mining/oil field town, also a college town.
The Astro Lounge gets the younger guys. It has two stages, both rather small, and the lapdance area is three or four chairs in an alcove off to the side of the main stage. There is not much hustle for dances, perhaps because there is so little room for them that there is usually a line waiting.
Club Millennium draws a slightly older crowd. It has a larger lapdance area and two large stages. The doorman stands where he can watch the door and the dance area and limit any touching by customers. I think you would like this club better.
Be sure to IM me when you will be there. Rock Springs is a LOT closer than Montana!
One more thing--be sure you get a reservation before you go, because every motel and hotel is full every night with guys working on the oil fields. If you get there late with no reservation, there will be no place to stay for a hundred miles or more either direction.
Thanks, Mike! What exactly is wrong with the club in Green River though? I don't mind working in a dive if there's money there.
The ATF lives/works in Vegas and on a trip home to Utah Worked a weekend in Rock Springs. She loved it. Said selling dances was easy and the rugged, blue collar custies were polite and respectful, something not often found in a LV SC.
The club in Green River is small, dirty, and dark. It has a small stage and no private LD area. LDs are sold in the seats at the tables or at the bar. The night I was there there were two girls dancing, neither particularly attractive, but with big, saggy boobs. There were maybe ten customers on a Friday night. You would easily be the most beautiful girl in the place, but the clubs in Rock Springs are only a few miles down the road and a lot nicer.
But you can certainly check it out if you want. I was only there once, and that was a couple of years ago, so maybe it is a lot better now.
Hm... might be fun to show up and be the hottest bitch in the bar though. Hah. I'll call them all and see who wants to book me. Thanks for the information!
Check this out: just a few miles south of Rock Springs.

Club Millineum sounds nice ........ I don't know how I overlooked Rock Springs , but this is actually drivable for me . Has anyone worked at this club? Any reports ?
Mike - that cabin looks nice !
Yeah, I posted the link mainly for the pictures, but I think maybe next summer Mrs. UtahMike and I will go over for a few days and stay there.
UPDATE: I pried info from one of the girls I work with tonight about Rock Springs. Her advice: If you go, be really careful, and DO NOT stay in the hotel that the dancers stay in (the one that the owner of the Astro owns). Apparently a couple of girls have been raped, mugged, and one murdered. All the guys know where the girls stay because it's a small town, and there are alot of weirdos around.
She said as long as you're careful you'll be alright, but she said it's been really scary up there recently and that most of the town is on tweak. She also said money there isn't great anymore...
I've never been there so it's not first hand advice, so take it for what it's worth...but it's something to consider.
Shit, that's too bad about the wierd stuff going on in Rock Springs. Any other WY destinations that aren't scary?
Wow, THANK YOU for that heads up!! :O
Damn. Maybe I'll just stay with K in Oregon.
Hi, Yek. Why not come south instead? There are plenty of joints in the Denver area, Boulder's Bustop is finally getting a much needed renovation and is only 1/2 to 1 hour from the mountains. Ski season has started at A-Basin and Loveland. There are several good clubs in the city. Many lesser clubs elsewhere, with a few surprises here and there. Many (not all) of the clubs are smoke-free. (I can't remember what your preferences are in that regard.) And, since Denver is getting more and more like LA each day, you'll be glad to know that it's easy to find decent, safe places to stay without a bunch of oil/trona/coal hands to deal with.
I was there in August. There were 17 girls on a Friday night. I was the only one who wasn't from Salt Lake, except for a girl from Rawlins. Even without being able to use the glorified telephone poles they have on the stage, I made between $150-$200 a set.
One of the first things I saw walking in there was a girl giving a hand job out in the open. I got asked if I had any lube so many times I decided to forget that I knew any Spanish. I got offered enough drugs to open my own pharmacy.
The hotel is very scary. There was blood on the electrical outlet in the kitchenette, and there is a big air gap under the door.
I was getting out of my car at the same time they were unloading drunk Mexican oil drillers out of the shuttle bus. I got chased back to my room, where they stood outside the door for about an hour. Then they started calling my room, wanting me to party with them. I had taken my dog with me, who stood at the door all night growling and keeping them at bay.
If I ever go back, I am definitely not going alone, I'm taking my dog and my taser, and I'm staying at a hotel on the other side of town.
I don't know about Cheyenne. My resident trucker lives there and so do his parents, so I don't work there.
Yek, go to Shotguns and Northern Dreams as I suggested. Those clubs are cool. The girls are easy to get along with for the most part. I wouldn't suggest any clubs to anyone that I wouldn't work at myself.
Has anyone worked at the Millennium in Rock springs? I've heard that it's owned by a former dancer, and is a lot cleaner, and that she is pretty strict.
Don't work at the Windy City. It's owned by the same guy that owns Astro's. It's a tiny little dump of a biker bar in the parking lot of the motel he owns, next to the nasty restaurant that he also owns. They send the girls that are too old or ugly for Astro's over there. Yuck.
Thanks much, guys. Tina, it looks like I'll be taking your advice. I appreciate it!
