Re: Paying more money at the salon for longer hair?
I have long hair and it's extra thick..I do get charged extra sometimes but, it varies from salon to salon..I'm shocked your salon would charge you extra though.. The positive in all this is your hair is healthy and getting longer, so it must say something about the salon and your stylist.

Lady Jade that stinks! When I donated my hair the cut was FREE and they washed, styled it, blew it out and everything! And at a nice place! If you are going to do it again pm me first!
Re: Paying more money at the salon for longer hair?
Every salon has always upped their prices either because of length (usually to my waist) or thickness (ponytail is thicker than my wrist). This doesn't bother me for services such as color or conditioner, it is more product and more work. But it pisses me off when they charge mondo prices for a cut (especially a dry cut, or a shampoo and cut where I leave with wet hair).
Once I seriously about lost it when I was charged $85 for a shampoo and cut which was supposed to be 55, but then she handed me the blow dryer and said I had to dry it myself.>:( That bitch got nooo tip. Not a damn dollar.

That's the thing. They do a GREAT job, and my hair has grown beautifully. The situation just leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. :'(

I totally feel you..But, they've helped you get to where you are with your hair quality..I've had the best hair experiences and complete nightmares.
Never scrimp when it comes to your hair, babygirl. If they want to charge you extra either pay it or find another shop..There is not one thing that stresses me out more in life than going to someone new to do my hair....scary..
Remember..Nothing makes you feel sexier than a head of healthy hair .;)
