Who is Your Character/Cartoon Alter-Ego??
We all have our favorite books, movies, shows, etc., not only because of good storylines and innovative material, because we identify with the characters in the works. Everyone has certain characters with whom we really identify, perhaps more so as children, perhaps more so when we're looking for guidance and answers. My childhood idol (obviously an archetype, but I didn't know then what an archetype was, only that she inspired me) was Jo March of Little Women. http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.ya...yder/women.jpgTalented, intelligent, outspoken, a klutz and an adventure-seeker. In my early teens it was Lola, of Run Lola Run. With that flaming red hair, she was very raw, very emotional, brave as hell, unapologetic and very beautiful. http://members.aol.com/aleong1631/runlolarun1.jpgLast year I discovered Tank Girl. Aside from the short-blonde hair comparison, I suppose that I've been through a lot of really tough situations since leaving home, and I've become a hardass... though still vulnerable when it counts. She's a workable model for that. http://artfiles.art.com/images/-/Tan...C10133203.jpegSo.... with whom do YOU identify?????
Re: Who is Your Character/Cartoon Alter-Ego??
I always wanted to be Scarlett O'Hara. I read the novel Gone With the Wind over and over when I was a kid, and I read the sequel Scarlett many times too when it came out. She's beautiful, she's coy, she's tough as nails, and she gets what she needs in a man's world. The movie version was okay, but the novel was infinitely better.

Re: Who is Your Character/Cartoon Alter-Ego??
Well that was Rhett, but yeah, I'd give it right back! :D
My favorite Scarlett moment from the movie was the whole "As G-d is my witness, I'll never go hungry again" scene, where she's digging the potato out of the frozen dirt with her fingers. Scarlett's a fighter and I am too!

Yeah dude Chicken is awesome. He's a spaz, which I am when I get overstimulated...I thought about it some more, and here's another, quite cliche but I spent most of my life like this guy...
I feel better now, though.

Re: Who is Your Character/Cartoon Alter-Ego??
I think for me is was "Memoirs of a Geisha". After watching the movie I relate back to when I was an entertainer and think of innocent Sayuri and how she went from being an unnoticed stone in the rough to a sparkling diamond of a woman.

Reese Witherspoon potraying June Carter Cash in 'Walk the Line'

I suppose since she was potraying June how she actually was, I'd say June, but this is talking characters, so I pick Reese's.

Re: Who is Your Character/Cartoon Alter-Ego??
Sayuri, in Memoirs of a Geisha, River in Firefly, and Moaning Myrtle from the Harry Potter books all resonated with me. Sayuri for her masks and personality changes, River, for her sense of constantly being used and manipulated, and Myrtle, because we have very similar stories of being abused by "friends" and classmates(except that mine didn't actually kill me, though i did get beaten very badly)
But I can totally see you as Tank Girl, Embyr! Now i want ot see that movie again!
Re: Who is Your Character/Cartoon Alter-Ego??
Now I really need to rent firefly. I tried to find it online, but to no avail. *sigh*

Re: Who is Your Character/Cartoon Alter-Ego??
Oh man, I'm almost too embarrassed to say... I'm like a mix of Marilyn Manson and Napolean Dynamite; Napolean Mansonite (Alexxa Hex coined this little ditty) if you will. I also feel a kinship to Powder, being outcast and a recluse due to a (seemingly) vast difference from my peers. Although I'm damn glad I'm not that smart and even more glad that I can't hear people's thoughts ...picking up their emotions at times is bad enough! Oh, and if I filed (instead of brushed on a regular basis) my teeth, wallowed in a dank, dark pit for years on end and cut off my nose, I'd look like Voldemort. Hey, who knows maybe the next gen of goth chicks will dig on "Grandpa Voldemort" ... dank, dark pit, HERE I COME!

Can be vivacious and life of the party (not crazy like, but more standup comedian getting people to laugh). All the while surrounded by an entourage of hot chicks in go-go boots.

The other girls didn't kill Myrtle, the basilisk did. So you may be more similar than you thought.
I didn't want to be the first one to bring up Harry Potter, LOL... but I am TOTALLY Hermione Granger. Her growth and development is a lot like mine and we have the same strengths and weaknesses. I love her.
And sometimes her hair even looks just like mine...

You are fun, you are very cool and popular. You always know what's in and You never are out of style. You are good at knowing how to satisfy everyone else. You have probably disappeared for a few days more than once but you always come home with the family values that you learned. Being married and having children are important to you, but only after you have had your share of fun times.
My test tracked 1 variable How you compared to other people your age and gender:
Re: Who is Your Character/Cartoon Alter-Ego??
Aaaaa! I love Chun-Li! I was obsessed with Street Fighter II when I was a kid, I even got all three issues of the comic book, LOL! And I ALWAYS played Chun-Li!
Re: Who is Your Character/Cartoon Alter-Ego??
Yeah, a public arcade is the only way to play Street Fighter. Even at-home game systems don't work. You have to take a roll of quarters to the arcade and challenge some junior high kid, who will always be Guile or Blanka, and watch him get upset when a grown woman beats his ass.
