Coming out take 2 (Warning, loooong post)
Hiya!
I was on here for a short while and made a few posts but i've been in Asia for more than a month so consequently haven't posted for a while and SW keep asking me why I don't take a few moments to ask a question etc, so.... after a snifter of brandy I'm in the mood to let rip, so to speak. So here goes..
I used to dance in Melbourne. This is me then;

Now I know I was hot, then I wasn't so sure and this 'not so sure' led me down to 42kg (about 93?lb) and at 5'3" with boob's of a couple pounds each this was definately not hot, again something I realised in hindsight.
So on doctors orders I was put on a weight gain diet. I didn't expect to get fat on this diet, just normal again and normal was little, maybe 120lb's at my biggest point. Anyways, I kind of skipped the 'healthy weight range', passed go and collected 28 kilo's which put me at big, about 154lb's. Ick, my thighs rub together, nobody warned me about that!
So, 4 years, one wedding, one divorce, the weight of a small child, 5 tattoo's and a university qualification later; I've got a hankering to once again, shake what my mumma gave me!
I'm Australian, living in the UK but moving to Vancouver in the new year. I have a british passport so don't need a visa to visit but trying to find a real live person to speak to about work permits seems near impossible. Also I could not, i don't think, do show's at this point, only privates (no contact but full nude is cool).
There are also, a few ladders in my stockings nowadays;
1. I'm hella nervous, much more so than the first time i danced, maybe it's the weight, the fact that my skin is worse and my hair much shorter, maybe it's my perfectionist nature but I'm anxious as funk.
2. The weight needs to come off. It's getting there, i've lost a few kg's, only a few mind you but with Tonalin, what little excercise i can find time to do and a sensible diet this should be ok (fingers crossed).
This is me now; (Sorry it's blurry and yes, I was sucking it in)

3. The hair. I'm thinking for the first time that maybe I should wear a wig. Partially because i think long hair is sexy on me and also for that added character factor. I think that I may have burned out a little last time by being too much myself. But I know zip about wigs. Also, I used to be a bit of a head banger (you know the type), one of the habits i'd need to maybe not resurrect.
4. Nails, I bite mine, but this is nothing new.
5. Skin: To tan or not to tan, oh such a difficult choice. I am naturally quite pale but with a yellowish pigment so I look good with a tan but, I have strange skin and cannot use fake tan and it shall be winter, hmmm.
6.Tattoo's? coverup? it's a big job nowdays, can one wear gloves and stockings in Canada?
7.My skin, argh, ugh, harumph. I never had bad skin as a teenager but now it drives me up the proverbial wall. Oily, dry, spotty and wrinkly, I have it all!
8. Wardrobe, I need to start again. Shoes, dresses, makeup, the whole shebang.
That's all I can think of (for now) but it seems a big undertaking to dance again, personally and financially. Does anyone know if the money in Vancouver is good enough to justify this investment?
I think I would definately need to work on a character as in, wear a wig and cover my tattoo's. Maybe even wear contacts. I'm thinking a long, natural looking red wig, brown contact lenses, long gloves and stockings. Jessica rabbit stylee.

Man i wish I could sing.
I've just noticed that she has blue eyes. I already have blue eyes and nice as they are, I think a change would be good as people always remark on my eyes, they're my most memorable part. Maybe green? Hmmm
Aaaaaanyhoo, I do apologise for the long ass post. If you've made it this far thankyou for wading through my drivel. If you fancy passing on some advice, even better.
I hope all you lovely ladies are happy, healthy and all that jazz.
Xxx Much love... Scarlett xxX
P.S. To all the other Scarlett's out there, I will be changing my name if I do Dance again.

Hey Scarlett, welcome back! Both of your pics look quite yummy, but I have to say # 2 catches my attention much more. You look healthier and your boobs much more delicious! You'll tone up on the job. Good luck getting back into stripper mode!

Re: Coming out take 2 (Warning, loooong post)
Holy crap, what a coming out post! Welcome!
Anyway you're probably looking for responses from women but I figured I'd point out there's a whole thread going on the blue side about tattoos or not, and you had mentioned that. All the sensible men thought they were a great thing and there would be no need for coverups (ok, yeah, I'm biased):
I'm bet you could search and find similar threads.
Oh and the Jessica Rabbit look would be hot.
Cheers!

Re: Coming out take 2 (Warning, loooong post)
Thanks Odysseus.
I think part of the covering up is a kind of masking as well as 'mainstreaming', and tattoo's make me recognisable.
Also, couple of them are not small, not small at all.

What kinds of tats do you have?

Re: Coming out take 2 (Warning, loooong post)
Ummm...... well;
I have a 'tramp stamp' (don't much care for the name but it's sticky), but it's pretty and loaded with personal meaning. I have a series of small tatt's (8) from my right shoulder to elbow, a small one on my R forearm and one on my wrist. I have a biggish black one on my left knee and a large art nouveau piece on my right hip.
So far.....
I also have many piercings, but i don't think that'll change at all.

They sound sexy and some custies are really into dancers with tats. You'll stand out in a crowd of naked chicks, but they do sound quite unique. Are you concerned about someone finding out about your dancing?

Re: Coming out take 2 (Warning, loooong post)
Not so much as I'll be in a foreign country and all that, although, I don't think it'd help my ma to know I was stripping again, she pretended to be ok with it the first time, but was so relieved when i stopped. I think I'd very much like to be 'in character' this time around, for a while at least, although lord knows I'd much rather not bother and be myself. Double standard alert!

Hi Scarlett.
It's great to see Australian girls on sw, especially former Melbournians!
Good luck with stripping again! You'll be fine.
Which club/s did you work in when you were in Melb?

Re: Coming out take 2 (Warning, loooong post)
I think you look terrific now. The only thing you need now is confidence. Tats are fine, I'm sure your hair is fine, a lot of people bite their nails.. get out there already! If you're looking to tone up a bit, start dancing and it'll happen.

Re: Coming out take 2 (Warning, loooong post)
Man, this site is great. I've got zero results in my 'get hot quick' regime yet but I already feel better about myself, Yay! (Thanks Embyr et al, you make me feel all mushy XXXXX).
I must admit though, I don't think that photo is quite true to life. It's me alright but the lighting is hiding all pudginess. Maybe I could just hire some dudes to follow me around with amber lights, or is that overkill? I wonder.
False nails are easy, but all I know about wigs is that I had a friend who used to name hers and care for them like pets (you know who you are darlin').
I'm leaning towards tan, it's easier to keep up than pale, on the top half at least, maybe I could go with a jekkyl and hyde theme, Brown above, white below?
If there's anyone out there from Vancouver, what's the money like, realistically, and does anyone know what kind of visa/ work permit i'm going to need?
I'm off to look at shoes, dresses and wigs, oh my!

You can also do a search within Body Business and Club Chat using some of the keywords you mentioned. Otherwise, make a new post if there is nothing similar :)
 welcome back :)
