It's true, we like our beer fridges. It seems to me a very common thing. My parents have two full size fridges, and one big chest freezer.
Not to mention all of our car idling...people will idle their car for literally hours on end sometimes. It's gross. I mean, I know it's cold, but my car always starts, even at minus thirty...if I give it some time. All this car idling, driving everywhere, tim hortons cups littering every sidewalk. We're all going to die.
wow, it's not like that in vancouver. vancouverites really seem to love thier city... it wasn't dirty at all. the only thing dirty about it were the junkies shooting up in broad daylight.
Well, Vancouver is a whole lot warmer! No one here really idles the car unti winter, but winter in Ottawa lasts about six or seven months. Also, I think it's all the snow that promotes littering. It's not all that bad here, but when there's so much snow, people forget that there's crap and stuff accumulating underneath.
But really, I don't think we need all this added car exhaust. I keep thinking that people lived here two hundred years ago...hell, 1000 years ago, and they didn't need to burn fossil fuels to survive.
^^^ yes, but ... if Canadians burned wood today as they did 200 years ago, Ottawa would look like Beijing and you wouldn't find a Canadian forest within 100 miles of the US border ! The real issue is that every country's population has increased 100 fold since the 'pre-industrial' age ... and any attempt to revert to that 'pre-industrial age' in terms of energy use will also result in the POPULATION having to drop back to 'pre-industrial age' levels as well. Maybe the bird flu will help out ...
Hmmm, when environmental protection comes into conflict with beer that does create quite a conundrum. :-\
^^^ especially in Canada and Australia LOL !!!
blame Canada! blame Canada! ... oh no... to much south park for me!
