Horray! :drunk:
Remember when our leaders actually engaged the voters in amending or modifying the Constitution? Yeah... good times, good times.
Yay, booze!
:O ? I thought ye olde "separation of church and state" was not being followed.
I like this part of the article!
Unlike St. Patrick's Day or Cinco de Mayo, Repeal Day is a day that all Americans have a part in observing, because it's written in our Constitution. No other holiday celebrates the laws that guarantee our rights, and Repeal Day has everything to do with our personal pleasures.
I was (snarkily) lamenting the fact that it appears our leaders in Washington D.C. do not appear to be vigilantly protecting the Constitution - neither the Executive, Judicial, or Legislative branches have a good recent record on this. They just seem to ignore the parts that they don't like...
I completely agree with the article's explanation for why we should all celebrate Repeal Day!
Oh, snap, I didn't mean to turn this into a political thread! MUST DRINK BOOZE NOW.
I'll drink to snarky! :propeller
Now that I'm home, I'm all set to drink.
Because it's Repeal Day, am I supposed to drink just American booze? I've got some Johnny Walker... but I was more in the mood for the Finlandia vodka.
Hmmm... dilemma. Guess I'll have to drink both.
Wait, I hear Cap'n MorGan Shouting....
I celebrated... just a little. ;)
Captain, My Captain. I like rum. ^_^
