Hillary's Game-Plan Might Help Obama
The compressing of the Primary Schedule was originally designed by the DNC to let Hillary sew up the nomination by the end of February. It was designed to let her be free to fundraise from February up to the Democrat Convention.
It used to be that there were three weeks between the Iowa Caucuses and the New Hampshire Primary.George H.W. Bush won the Iowa Caucuses in 1980 but Reagan had three weeks to come back in New Hampshire and win.In 1992 Bill did poorly in Iowa but had enough time to go all out in N.H. finish second, and then proclaim himself "The Comeback Kid". Tsongas ran out of money and had to withdraw and the rest is history.
Today, the N.H. primary will be five days after Iowa and if Obama wins in Iowa Hillary probably will NOT have enough time to counteract his momentum and prevent an Obama win and if he wins South Carolina the Obama bandwagon will be in overdrive while Hillary will be running out of gas and MONEY. Most of her contributors are "maxed out" i.e. they can't contribute more money to her campaign while most of Obama's are not; meaning he CAN go back to them for more.
February 5, 2008 is Super Tuesday and we should know in two months who the two nominees will be. About half the country will be voting on February 5 and by then Obama may be unstoppable. I hope it happens because I can't wait to see the see the look on that phony face of hers and watch her meltdown on National T.V.
