I found the best way to keep myself from getting bored is just by doing different workouts every day, for example I rotate between 15 different at-home workout dvds and use of the gym about 4-5 days a week. Like, dvd #1 on monday, strength training upper body on tues, dvd 4 on wed, lower body on fri, running on sat. etc. etc.
Hi , I have this problem when I get bored with a work out too . I really need to have fun or see results right away to keep me motivated . Sometimes I set my DVR to record some programs on the fitness channel just to add some variety . I found out that I love Belly dancing because I recorded a work out show about it . You can rent work outs from the video stores online too ! I tired Carmen Electra's that way and one from the NYC ballet company . Right now I am using Turbo Jam and it kicks ass , after less than a week I had a 2 pack . I find it very challenging but worth it . I go old school and use MTV the grind hip hop aerobics too .....hey whatever works right ? I would say just keep searching for different work outs and you will find one that keeps you moving .....if you like Pilates try the one from Crunch fitness , it got me in shape for a show girl pageant and I won .
